Everyone was absolutely amazing!!! My dress needed quite a bit of work and the fabric was super intricate so it needed to be altered by hand. I brought it in just couple weeks before my wedding and they were able to get everything done beautifully and VERY reasonably priced without any silly rush fees like some places. They were all so friendly and so easy to communicate with. We took my wedding dress, my grooms suit and my bridesmaids dress in for alterations, and they even made a matching mask with the left over fabric! You can tell they truly care about you as a person and not just another dollar sign. I will always come back here for any of my needs! Thank you so much ladies!! 💖

I will forever go to The Little Seamstress for all of my alterations! We bought my wedding dress and I knew I wanted to do a lot of things to it to make it the perfect dress for me. We were recommended to go to the little seamstress from where I bought my wedding dress (Lighthouse Bridal). Fiona from the little seamstress made all of my wedding dress dreams come true. She literally took my dress apart and put it back together to fit me perfectly and make it exactly what I wanted. My dress was sleek and straight on the bottom and lace on the top but I wanted to add a slit so I could show some leg. Fiona right away said she could do it and was so calm when explaining how she would do it. I was never nervous or worried always knowing that my dress was in good hands. She took my measurements and actually took the whole dress apart and had it in pieces when I went for one of my appointments (I still wasnt nervous because she just makes you feel like shes got this). The next time I went back, Fiona had created a whole new skirt, even ordered extra material to make it exactly what I wanted and to add the slit. The top was attached to the new skirt she created and the dress fit better than it did when I originally bought it. The seams from the skirt she created were invisible and it looked like a brand new dress! Fiona has magical hands and is so so talented in the work she does with wedding dresses. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is so sweet and funny and makes you feel like on of her greatest friends while she is working with you. I highly recommend going to her for any of your wedding alterations or even for other items! I will continue to go to The Little Seamstress from here on out. Thank you so much Fiona!

I brought in my daughters dress last minute after another seamstress failed to do all the alterations I requested, and ruined the 1 alteration she did complete. As soon as I left this place I had a great feeling they were going to do a great job on my daughters dress, and they definitely did not disappoint. The dress at first was uncomfortable for her, and she would complain whenever she put it on, after they completed the alterations she wouldnt want to take it off!!!Whenever I need future alterations done this will be my number 1 place to go! Prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. I am extremely happy I found this place and trusted them to fix my daughters dress.

Excellent workmanship, tailored my wedding dress to a perfect fit from a sample sale size 10 to a 2!! I highly recommend these talented women.

First off, I dont write reviews.I took 2 pairs of pants to be taken in for work. When I went in, I told them I had a pair in the car that has already been taken in. They could use as a example. After pinning only one leg. I was assured, no worries that they would take care of it. (I had a template that could had been used). Come back a week later and after trying on pants, they were still baggy, only taken in at the calves. I paid $70 for the alterations, but said this is not what I requested. I then drove home and retrieved my work pants (a example). When I brought them in, they looked at them and said oh wow, well we cant get to here, because of what WEVE already done. But we will bring them in moreFast forward two or three weeks later. I go in and try on pants. They are much better. I say thanks and begin to walk out. She says, wait you have to pay for the further alterations. $40. I had to pay more for them to fix how they did not do the job correctly the first time. 2 pairs of pants taken in cost $110. ONE HUNDRED AND TEN dollars for TWO pairs of pants.Im not saying they cant do good, but they made me pay for a mistake they made. Had they just used the example I provided, this would had been avoided. But they felt, it was my duty to pay for their neglect to look at how it had been done to my previous pairs. Im new to the area and regularly need things altered. Sadly I cannot recommend or go back here. They more than took advantage of me and refused to own up to their own wrong doing.

They did a great job on fixing my pants cuffs at a good price and friendly service. They of course do alot of other seamstress work as well

I am getting married in a little over a month. I am not having a typical wedding and the dress I had in mind simply didnt exist. So I ordered one custom made online. I sent my exact measurements and every little detail I wanted. When it arrived I ran to the bedroom to open it away from my fiance only to come out crying minutes later. The dress was a disaster. It was three times too big, the straps were in the wrong place, it had plastic sticking out everywhere, it was just devastating. A coworker of mine told me to go to The Little Seamstress and they would help me.Fiona is a miracle worker. Today I had my second to final fitting and it has gone from a disaster that made me cry to the dress I had pictured in my head. It fits, the plastic is gone and the straps are being corrected as the last piece of a long and difficult puzzle. She turned garbage into a masterpiece.There is no way I could ever thank her for turning a nightmare into my dream wedding dress. She even helped me with disputing the charge by writing a letter to the bank about how poorly it was made and helped me choose shoes when I couldnt decide. Fiona is sweet, easy to work with, and truly sees your vision and brings it to life. Im amazed and when I left the shop today I found myself crying over my dress again...not because it was so wrong, but because it was exactly what I wanted. She worked around my ever changing and busy work schedule and I will be forever grateful to her. She saved my dress, she saved my wedding, I cant recommend her highly enough. They are a bit pricey but they get the job done professionally. I wish they would communicate a little better and provide recommendations of what the best alterations would be. I know nothing about sewing and dont know what my options are with different items of clothing so it would have been good to have a bit more dialogue about what could be done.

Walked in with a pair of pants that needed to be altered same day. I could not believe how accommodating these ladies were to get this done for me in less than 3 hours while working on other customers clothing. Very high level of professionalism and integrity in the work. Will definitely be returning for future alterations.

My original tailor/seamstress recommend I try this place because they werent able to finish a project for me in time for my trip. Not only did Little Seamstress finish my dress alterations in time for my trip the did a superb job! I have brought a few other items to them since then and have not been disappointed yet. Very friendly and helpful!

Needed my suit immediately for a very important interview. The team took my pants in with no hesitation and altered it and had a job that normally takes 7 days done in 24 hours. It was an emergency for me and they handled it like pros! Caroline was awesome and they earned my loyalty!

Every time I move, I stress about finding a great tailor in my new city, and I feel so lucky to have found Little Seamstress. They do beautiful work, everything is always perfect and Ive brought them some complicated items like a chiffon bridesmaid dress that needed tons of alterations to fit my figure flatteringly. Most recently I came by with a bunch of maternity clothes that they took from frumpy to fabulous. I could not be more pleased. I would not take my clothes anywhere else and highly recommend them.

Excellent tailoring and repairs. I have had a sports coat tailored here and my wife uses them for all her repairs. Very nice people, reasonable prices, and skilled workmanship.

I had a pair of pants taken in there & they were not taken in enough. The woman (with the blonde hair) told me that they could not be taken in anymore when I complained that they were way too baggy. I asked her several times & she said it couldnt be done. I then took them to my tailor in NJ & she took them in perfectly. When I came back about 8 months later (I am a snowbird) & told them that they should return my $ since they didnt know what they were talking about (& shouldnt be in business if they cant take in pants properly), they told me that it was so many months later & refused to give me my money back. This could have all been avoided if they were professional & knew how to tailor clothes properly.

Had a deadline of less than a week to fix a costume and the lovely ladies altered my costume in just a few days. Excellent service and top notch customer service. Will ABSOLUTELY bring all future alterations here.

****BRIDES BEWARE!**** I had a terrible experience at this seamstress. I should have known the very first trip I had there that I should just have left and found another place to work on my wedding dress. At my very first meeting, I left crying/ beside myself because Fiona told me I would have to put cups in the top of my dress to fill it out (rather than taking the top of the dress in). This change would have ruined the silhouette of the dress (which, of course, is why I picked that dress). I was eventually passed onto another seamstress who seemed like she would help me, but also eventually would not budge on altering the top of my dress (again, a major sticking point for me). I was also told that my dress could not be bustled (which seemed weird, to say the least), and I would have to carry it around via a strap on my wrist all night. Luckily, my mother swooped in, took the dress from TLS and fedexed it to me overnight in Chicago where I found a seamstress who easily did the alterations I requested, bustle and all. The Chicago seamstresses laughed at the idea that my dress could not be bustled or taken in at the top, so I have no explanation for the unfortunate extra suffering and complications I had to bear at TLS during an already stressful time in my life. I also found out later that a close friend had similar issues and specifically mentioned Fiona being rude and unhelpful to her and her bridesmaids when I told her I was having issues with my own dress. I could go on...

Great work, nice staff and fair price. Just take a little long to deliver, but it is ok if you have no rush.
