I was there to only turn in my 26 foot U-Haul, but the process was quite simple, no problems whatsoever. While I was in the store there were a few customers that had done business with Eddie Hair and they all seem quite content.

Rates seem above others in the area. Very nice building, repair was done correctly, just as I said, labor rates are high. Plus they seem to add a markup on parts.

Called and couldn’t get an appointment. Asked if I would just bring it in whenever. Had them check my car as I was out of town for work. They apparently re learned my throttle. But never actually fixed the problem and also charged me 106 per hour for 2hrs. While I was waiting the car wasn’t even being looked at till almost the second hour. Then I was told since I was low on gas but had plenty to finish the job they told me it should fix on it’s own while driving which may be true but then I brought it back a second time after it started getting worse. They looked at it and it was running better. But now a week later it’s running how it was rough idle and shifting slightly bad.

My older truck broke down at the GaSmart next door. In a short time frame, they diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and had me on road next day. Everyone was friendly and professional. Will use again next time I have any problems

Never go there for an oil change!!

Very quick about getting things done! They estimated an hour on my oil change and called me about 20 minutes later because it was done.

I brought my car in to find out what was going on with my wheel making so much noise. After looking at it, they told me that I needed new pads and rotors all the way around and said it would cost a minimum of $1300. I was devastated because I only make $750 a month. So I told my brother about it and he told me to check out Poor Boys Tires in Wartburg. I did and they said just the back brakes and rotors needed to be changed. So I bought the parts for $110 at Auto Zone and brought my car back to them. They charged me $60 for the labor. Now my car is running great. What I want to know is how I was able to pay under $200 for a job quoted to cost $1300 or more? Thats ridiculous. Anyone who needs brake work done, go to Poor Boys. They are honest and very reasonable.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. A few months ago, I took my car to Eddie Hair Tire for a routine oil change, chosen only out of convenience for where I work, as I am new to the area and had no recommendations. I called and scheduled an appointment for 7:30, and was told this would be quick as I had to hurry to get to work. The only employee to open was late, answering several phone calls while I was trying to fill out my paperwork in a timely manner, nearly making me late for work. I received a text to pick up my car at the scheduled time and all seemed well, although a bit pricey. A few weeks later, I was ordering at a drive through and looked in my center console where I keep a bag of loose change, but it was no where to be found. I’d been adding to the bag for years and would guess it’s value at $40-50. I am very consistent with locking my car, and of course something could have happened, but I am nearly certain this was stolen at the only place my car had been left unlocked and unattended: Eddie Hair Tire. I should have taken the bag out before, but it slipped my mind because there is no reason to open the center console when changing oil. I have no proof and their documents release their liability for events such as this, so there was nothing I could do except be frustrated. I just recently needed another oil change, where I was informed they left 2 bolts out of the oil filter access cover. This was the final straw and why I decided to post and review my experience. Eddie Hair Tire saw me as a young woman with no car know-how, and fully took advantage of my vulnerability with sub-par service and disrespect.

This place is Mediocre at BEST! They charge a premium price and it isnt worth it. This was my first and last visit. I ordered the 16oz NY had to send it back 2x, for temp. Reasons. Cool red center is RARE! not Med. Rare! Salads were served on warm plates, just a very Mediocre experience. Ruth Chris, Ye Old, Fleming, or Connors way better options.

At Eddie Hair Tire in Oak Ridge Tennessee IT still exists. It is a combination of High Quality Service, Integrity, Honesty with a smile. I am busy business owner and on Monday morning a heard a problem with my tire. I took it to Eddie Hair Tire and that quoted me a price to repair it. I said great. Shortly after getting back to my office...I received a call. I expected it to say that something additional was wrong and in need of repair. INSTEAD...the service rep said, the nail did not puncture your tire...you are good to go...there is no charge. Wow!!! In this day of scheming and absence of integrity they could have easily charged me and I would not have known any difference. Thank you Eddie Hair Tire Team. You are the kind of business that I want to do business with. When it is time for me to buy tires...I am coming back to you. I encourage others to do the same. Best wishes for a great 2020!!!!

Out of all the places I called around for prices this place had a good average when it comes to an oil change, tire rotation, and a full alignment. It was also done in a timely manner. My only real complaint is they didnt put an oil change sticker on my window like everywhere else does so I think its a little weird.. I just hope they did everything they charged for.

Don’t go to this place unless you have to. They used refurbished alternators on me car without telling me until the part failed again. The warranty of the refurbished parts expires in a year, which is much sooner than a new one. So, I have to install a new one without any compensation or apology from them.

This place is excellent for vehicle care. Some services are cheaper and others are more expensive, but they did great aligning my wheels. I have a lifted Tacoma 12 years old with 33 mud tires. Its like a new truck now!

I have been going to this shop for about a year now to get my oil change. I will never go back again after my last experience. I dropped my 2013 Sonata off per usual for an oil change, and get a call from the tech saying I needed a new wheel bearing. He stated that is was urgently needed and that he recommended it being fixed right away, he gave me a price quote of around 700.00 for it to be replaced. I called my dealership and found out it was covered under my warranty. When I called Eddie Hair back and said I would take it to the dealership because it is covered under my warranty he responded with “ok, if it makes it there.” I was quite taken back because they are all usually nice there. I didn’t say anything, paid for my oil change and scheduled an appointment at my dealership. I took the car to the dealership, and they looked at it and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car. Glad I got a second opinion and didn’t spend an unnecessary expense on my car! I will now find somewhere else to take my business, because I don’t deal with liars!

If I could give a negative rating I would!!! I came in to do a oil change and was offered a oil change with ALL fluids topped off and tires rotated and a safety check done for a good price so of course I said yes, and when it was completed I noticed my washer fluids were still empty!!! So I go back in and inform them and was told I had a hole in the bottom of my tank, so I then asked where show me and was then told oh wrong vehicle we apologize and proceeded to then fill up my washer fluid! So when I get home I then checked all my other fluids and what do you know they are all NOT topped off!!! To make things worse my oil wasn’t even full!!! They shorted me a quart of oil!!! It even shows on the receipt they only put five quarts in, instead of six quarts like my car takes!!! So I then call and speak with the manager and he talks to me like I didn’t know how to check my oil or any other fluids and is beyond rude to me!!! This is unexplainable and flat out ridiculous, I paid for a service and I should have gotten that full in full!!! I should not have had to make a call to tell them what was left out or to try to get it fixed correctly!!! Needless to say I will never bring any vehicle back again and I will also warn everyone I come in contact with about this business!!! Last note I also called again to try to speak with the main boss regarding this situation and was told I would receive a call back and I never did!!

Sorry, I must have some how left off the actual review. Eddie Hair Tire used to be a go-to tire shop for many people I know. My wife went about 1.5 years ago to pick up 4 brand new tires. Now, about 20k miles later, she has major problems with 2/4 tires. One tire needed a patch which is of no fault of the store. But instead of any customer service, or detailed information for her, they only tried to upsell her into four new tires yet again. She was very stressed over her experience and Ive taken her car to another shop for service.

On 9/12/2017, we were in Oak Ridge TN after evacuating from hurricane Irma. I was traveling alone with my two small children. We were there from South Florida, so about 800 or so miles from home.My car had a bad issue, and was completely immobilized. The ball joint came out and my wheel basically came half off and folded in and... well, it was just a mess. I was practically hysterical when I called Eddie Hair. After I calmed down enough to explain that I was about 1/4 mile down the street, one of them came by to see the car, and what was wrong. We had my car towed in.In under two hours, my car was fixed and I was loading up my kids to move. Their price was incredibly fair, and they treated me with such kindness.My kids played in the cute childrens play area they had there, and what initially seemed like a disaster was quickly over. I know some shops would have taken advantage of someone in my situation, but they went above and beyond. I told my friend that lives in Oak Ridge about it and she said oh, I go there for everything!I cannot recommend this business enough, and I truly thank them for helping my family and I get home safe.

Not these guys Eddie Hair Tire was able to mount my tire, and the price was hella cheap for such a big wheel and extremely low profile tire with FAST friendly service.... Highly recommend!!! A++++

I reserved a 10ft truck online. Called the next day near close to confirm my reservation since the next day was Easter. Thankfully i called because otherwise I would not have known they didn’t have any 10ft available because they didn’t attempt to contact me. I reserved a different size truck ($65 for truck/ins/dolly), but when i got there to pick it up, they hadn’t left a key. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to bring us a new one. They also gave me the wrong dolly and we couldn’t even used it but i was charged for the one i ordered. They charged me for furniture pads i did not order.When we returned the truck, i was charged an additional $118 for repeated charges of the truck, insurance, and dolly, then the furniture pads, misc chargesand then $40 for FUEL when we only drove THREE MILES. I was informed the $65 would go back into my account in 3 days but that doesn’t change the fact i had horrible service and paid nearly $200 that i can barely afford when i was led to believe I would only be paying $65. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

The staff was great! They had coffee and a nice customer lounge with a couple of TVs. Nice soft furniture and one guy was snoring while he waited. The price was near $50 for full synthetic after taxes. I was pleased and will use them again.

Shop opens at 730, 1st in. Hour later still waiting. Simple tire patch. Did not start on tire until 8 am. Why open at 730

My wife took our car there to get tires mounted/balanced yesterday. The waiting area is like a palace. There are TVs, good coffee, and a carpeted room with toys for the kids. She loved the convenience and luxuries while she waited.The service was very good. They did just what we needed in a timely manner on the schedule that we had reserved. However, they are a bit pricey.

I bought my tires there 70,000 mile Firestone and they have 30,000 on them now, I picked up a nail over the weekend and took it to them to repair, I told them I had to put a can of Fix-A-Flat in just so they would be aware while working on it, I ask how much it would be and he was typing a lot and finally printed out his result.... $57.00, I said or you kidding, he said well thats with the $23.00 Fix-A-Flat removal fee, I said I just want it plugged, I bought my tires here and you want $57.00, he said you should have got the road hazard insurance, I went to down the road and had it repaired in less then 10 minutes for $8.00, I will never go there again

Our family used the U-haul service at Eddie Hair Tire & Auto Center recently. We had some problems that were not the fault of the personnel there, but the staff helped us work them out much to our satisfaction. Travis Witherington, Sales Associate, in particular was very helpful to us and we found him to be a very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Great customer service.

Every time I have been here the service was above and beyond. last time the uhaul trailer was messed up so they found another one identical that was in the direction I was going to travel. These people are top notch as far as customer service.

I live out of town and never had services here but I stopped in to get help airing up my tire. The gentleman at the register was very polite and came out personally to assist me. Ill be back next time I need some service. Thank you!

I called to get 4 tires mounted and balanced and they priced it by tire size. Thats a new one for me. I used to do it for a living and its a flat rate price. They wanted $127 for a $60 job. Eddie Hair Auto is for people with more money than sense. My body shop had my car aligned there and the tires never wore properly again plus they are more expensive than Bee Line Alignment in Knoxville that does only alignments and they do a better job with less fancy equipment. Stay away from Eddie Hair Auto.

Please beware I was in a hurry and nwwded to get my oil changed payed the bill and left looked over the bill they added a extra quart and then charged it again in shop supplies. Sure its only 10 dollars not a huge deal to most but very crooked in my option. The work was done right but wont have my business again.

First, let me be clear... I have never written a negative business review on Google before. But the experience I had with Eddie Hair (EH) yesterday and today prompted me to do so now. In short, I won’t be going back.A little background... last November, I took my Class C RV (a dually) to EH to have valve extensions installed on the four rear tires so I could more easily check the pressure and add air myself. Two days ago, I noticed that the outside left rear tire was bulging. Upon further inspection, I discovered that it had the correct pressure (80 lbs), but the inside tire was completely deflated, causing the outside tire to bear the full weight on that side of the RV... thus, the bulge.I inflated the inside tire to about 20 pounds with my air compressor at home. When I removed the compressor hose from the valve extension, I immediately heard the hissing sound of escaping air and speculated that it was escaping from either the tire valve stem or the valve extension hose, both hidden from my view and out of my reach behind the wheel.I also noticed that the outside tire was beginning to show signs of UV damage or dry rot (small cracks on the sidewall), more so than any other tire on the RV. (They are all 5 1/2 years old... I fully intend to replace them all within the next year.)Yesterday morning, I dropped off my RV at EH for them to repair/replace the problem valve stem and/or extension. I also asked for a quote on six new tires to have on hand for future reference. I believe THAT was all they actually heard.I received a voice message about three hours later that said, ... youre ready, and were open until 6:00 today. I was not able to get back to them before they closed, but I went to the shop lot last night to check on my RV.First, I noticed it was parked in the exact spot I had parked it that morning. Red flag #1. Then, I checked the left rear tires… still bulging and flat... and no smears or marks on the hubcap to indicate it had been handled. Red flag #2.I called EH early this morning to find out more about what they did to get my RV ready. Thats when they told me that the problem tire was leaking due to dry rot, not the valve, and that it needed to be replaced. Red flag #3.Im not an idiot. I know a valve leak when I hear it.Based on their blatant incompetence and dishonesty, I lost all confidence in the staff at EH and decided to take my business elsewhere.When I arrived to retrieve my RV, I asked one more time for clarification... which tire needs to be replaced? The explanation I got was clear, alright... it was clear that they had not even looked at the flat tire on the inside. All they saw were the little cracks on the sidewall of the OUTSIDE bulging tire -- the one that was not leaking but was bearing all the weight -- and called it a dry rot problem.They even lied and said they had removed both tires, inspected and inflated them, and put them back on. They said that they then noticed late yesterday afternoon that the tire with the problem was flat again. Red flag #4.I left EH and took my RV to a competitor half a mile down the road. I watched as they removed the two left rear wheels/tires. It was obvious that neither of them had been removed any time recent. The inside tire showed zero signs of dry rot, but the valve stem AND valve extension were both leaking air... profusely.$20 and 20 minutes later, I had a new valve stem and extension on my tire.That was five hours ago. Both left rear tires are still fully inflated with no sign of leaking air anywhere.Oh, and they gave me a quote to replace all six tires that was $400 less than the quote from EH. I will be doing ALL of my tire business there now (C&D Pro Tires).Bottom line, the staff at EH demonstrated gross incompetence and/or laziness -- and blatant dishonesty with me. I do not trust them to 1) do quality work, nor 2) be truthful.I wrote this review to help others make an informed decision before doing business there. Hope it helps.

The staff there was great. I went there for a front end alignment. Unfortunately after getting my truck in the rack, their alignment machine went down. The goid news, there was no charge. The bad news, I didnt get an alignment. Just my luck though. I would recommend them though.

Good for oil changes (great prices), tire service I assume, but not the most knowledgeable when it comes to deeper problems.Saw an advertisement, went for an oil change, and described a problem with my car over-heating intermittently. I gave full diagnostic details, including its behavior at different speeds, slopes, how the heating cut on-and-off and when, correlation between temperature gauge drops and throttle level, etc.They couldnt tell me what was wrong, offered to pressure test the gaskets (a procedure that completely killed my car last time I had a head-gasket problem). I resorted to the internet while I was waiting, and fairly easily found that the problem was simply air in the cooling system. Followed instructions, parked my car up-hill rather than down, topped off the coolant, bled the lines, problem solved.Quick & cheap oil changes though, nice lobby to wait in, friendly staff.

Recently had to stop in to get a heater hose that burst a block away. The top heater hose costs $10 on my car and only takes a minute to replace as its two clamps... one at the firewall, one on the engine. Neither is hard to get to. I went to grab lunch and left my number. They called me to say the chief mechanic found issues. I got back and he wanted to replace all hoses, the 2 belts and the radiator. The radiator in the car is actually already a replacement and only a year old. They had not even bothered to replace the hose that was burst. They ended up charging me $126 for this $10 hose when I told them I only wanted the one hose changed. I could have replaced all the hoses and belts myself for less than $100. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS!

I brought my 2007 Volvo in for what I thought was a belt making noise. Turns out it was an oil trap that needed to be replaced. I was quoted $273 for labor and $589.99 for the replacement kit. When I spoke with a Volvo parts distributor in Atlanta, they told me there is no kit for that car because there are only two parts required. Subsequently, I paid $208 for the parts from the distributor. I was still charged $273 for labor plus $7/qt. for full synthetic oil for a total bill of $386.23. When I asked the manager if the intake manifold gasket was used (which I also bought just in case), he said yes. The gasket was still packaged in my front seat and never opened. Wouldnt trust these people with my car again nor would I recommend them to anyone unless you dont mind paying stiff prices through the nose for things that dont necessarily get done.

I had new tires put on yesterday and a detail done last week. Both were awesome experiences!

Crooked.Id been duped by a very similar up-sell here 15+ years ago but decided to give them a second chance for the sake of convenience. I wanted brake shoes put on, and same day service. Both on the phone and when I dropped it off, I was met with well check it out and see what all is wrong with it.I made it very clear that I was not interested in their diagnostic fees, I had already inspected the other parts and simply needed front brake pads. I dropped the vehicle off on my lunch break and less than 10 minutes later they called saying that they had my brake system taken apart and that it was in dire need of $720+ in repairs. My reply was, Well, that is not going to happen. I was told that my rotors were destroyed, and both calipers were worn down and needed to be upsized.When I pointed out that calipers dont wear down, and that my rotors were very new and smooth 10 minutes prior, I asked them to put it back together, that I would be taking it elsewhere. The lady told me that was not possible, that my hoses were shredded, caliper gaskets were laying on the table, and my rotors were destroyed. (This was all roughly only 10 minutes after dropping it off, I do not believe for an instant that they had even inspected it at this point.)Based on these claims, my only other option seemed to be paying a towing fee and missing work to have it fixed elsewhere. I was livid, but finally agreed to their price just to be done with it and never have to deal with Eddie Hair Tire ever again.The straw that broke the camels back came 2 hours later, when they called to say that my parts had to be ordered, and would not arrive until the next morning. This would have left me stranded that evening, as well as missing work the next day. The only reason Id chosen Eddie Hair was that I was assured it would be ready in hours.I asked them to put my vehicle back together, as this was not what we agreed upon, and was unacceptable. I offered to pay their rack fee and anything else to settle up for their time, but I retrieved my vehicle at 5pm under no charge.Lo, and behold, my brake system was not destroyed, got me home with only a little of the same original pads grinding. Zero evidence of all of this supposed damage. They LIED, and I caught them. I am doubtful if they ever even inspected it before pushing their bogus inflated bill.Fixed this morning at Meineke for minimal cost and hassle. Upgraded to higher quality pads and even let them do a fluid flush for next to nothing, comparatively.

Having just moved here I had a slight vibration when driving and this place was recommended. I asked if they could balance the tires and my first red flag was when he went out to get vin number and made the comment that I was from out of state. He recommended to try several different things first that were quite expensive. I asked him to start out by balancing the tires and he could write me an estimate if he found anything else. He came in later and told me that ALL of my rims were bent and would need to be replaced. I left. A few months later I went somewhere else and purchased new tires. NO MENTION WAS EVER MADE ABOUT MY RIMS BEING BENT. Beware if you choose to do business here.

I have taken my car they several times for oil changes, routine brake maintenance. They replaced the rotors and pads that are currently on the car. I had the car in to put on some new tires and I described a vibration that occurred while driving on the highway and asked them to look at it. They recommended $1,000 worth of repairs (new calipers, rotors and pads). They felt that all of this was absolutely necessary. That the calipers had caused heat damage to the rotors.Ive taken it to two other places and neither felt that these repairs were necessary. At most, the pads would need to be replaced in a few months. Reading other reviews, it seems others have run into the same problem.Stay away, they are simply fleecing customers!

Extremely disappointed. Quotes me for 2 tires and I went somwhere else and was quoted $120 less for a better tire. Also told be I needed over $700 in extra services that 2 other people that dont know eachother said I didnt need.

Buyer beware. The board says you get a battery plus installation and the corresponding price is $99 - see pic on their fb page review. I was surprised to receive an installation charge of $15. It should actually say $99 plus installation with plus installation being on the side of the price not the product. They will not change the board even though they are aware that its very misleading. They will continue to sneak the installation charge onto the bill.
