The guy working there is very rude and unprofessional. I tried asking about a job and he wouldnt answer any of my questions cause all the answers are on the app. He didnt even want to add me to a job cause there on the app. I told him I dont have a smartphone at the moment so I cant accept jobs and he was still not trying to help. He literally said & I quote well Im not like other branches. I dont have to help well hes definitely not like other branches. Midway,downers grove and matteson branch are the best ones for work and to answer your questions!

Came to work with them a few years ago and even when assignments ended at hospitals they had another location to send me to right away. I would highly recommend! Scheduling and communication have been consistent

I enjoyed working at labor ready for Loyola hospital Gotlieb and stroger. Hoarse or whatever his name is was strict n kind of mean. But I worked with them for years and wouldn’t mind coming back for part time

I have had a perfect experience so far with Gretchen. I just got a call today twice and I dont know who it was calling and since I didnt answer and my email was full or not set up she even took the time to send me a text message to let me know she was trying to get ahold of me. I cant say enough times how much I appreciate that otherwise I would of never known she called and would have missed out on this job opportunity. Thank you Gretchen for going the extra mile for me. I love the work assignments thats available, the technology they possess that sends you text alerts if you want to take an assignment without calling or coming into the office, their immediate daily compensation to a debit card once your assignment is finished and the employer you worked for fax the hours you worked to your office. Its a awesome pay system. Great setup all around!

Do not call the Oak Park Branch.Guy named Tony picked up the phone.Trying to ask how to upload a general resume & was told to click on the job offerings on the website to fill in an application.Had a really nasty attitude on the phone.Unhelpful & rude.Pass by these people and go somewhere else.

I worked out of the midway office some years back and a guy name carlos and steve and felicia worked there. The last assignment I had was a group assignment with over 30 individuals so i asked could i give another guy heading to the office my ticket to turn in. Now unbenounced they claim to the individual changed a number on the hours sheets on his and mine to match. I was told i was dealing with fraud and couldnt be paid out also could not get new jobs. I dont understand how this is allowed to happen when I have done nothing wrong.

The people here really suck on keeping you updated. They want me to get all these shots done that i have To pay for in cash. I been Calling to get a hold of them to see if they have the job for me that they said they did before paying 500$ for shots & blood work. If u ask me it’s very unprofessional there they don’t know how to keep each other informed with the things that are going on. 180$ that i spent On Tb testing and flu shot down to the drain I’m glade i didnt Pay for the other stuff.

Dont work for these people they call you everyday knowing you at work and expect you to answer then report you did no call no show on the job .when there customers should let them know if you there .you shouldnt have to have your day interrupted daily getting ask if you at the job site as an adult .besides its temporary just like if they didnt need you to work they will let you know and if you not going to work you will let them know as well or you dont have to say anything the manager Steve is very rude !!! He needs to be replaced he talks about everybody he calls or calls in i was filing out my application and he did that to everyone i was shocked so unprofessional they dont communicate at all and they will lie on you because he did it to me as if i care about those under paid jobs its plenty of jobs out here PEOPLE PLEASE go some where else

Worse company to work for they are rude and they lie on u and they are disrespectful and The Des plaines office is one of the worst branch to work for and they treat people with no respect at all and the whole company is a waste of time working for and they even dont make sure the workers get paid on time Chris from the Des plaines office and Carmen and Veronica and Jasmine from the Downers Grove office is also rude as Hell.......

Dont waste your time even applying. They string you along saying no positions are available. After waiting 6 months to hear from them about another placing they finally say I cant work under my experience. Why not tell me that 6 months ago? Rude staff.

Applied on July 17th 2018. I was told that my application was not processed so I had to apply again on July 31st 2018. When I applied they told me I must not have applied with them but lo and behold I could not be processed the 2nd time because of two applications being in the system both stemming from their office. Was told they would get in touch with me because now they have to go through HR but they never did and when I got in touch with them there was nothing but attitude.They eventually told me I could find another staffing agency because I was trying to figure out what was going on with my application calling them once a day. I dont know about other People Ready agencies in the Chicago area but this certain one in Oak Park is extremely horrible and the people, namley Steve and Vanessa because those are the individuals I dealt with, are extremely unprofessional. As of August 20th 2018 I am still not registered.

Staff handles you poorly as if you are beneath them. They are rude, do not give proper information about job tickets and act as if its your fault they didnt do their job.
