I researched quite a few Krav places around South-East Michigan before I settled on this studio. I left a message and Don called back within a day. He was very informative and professional over the phone and he got me all the info I needed to get set for my first free lesson.After that first Monday night class I signed up for a 6-Month contract immediately.Don and Maria are excellent instructors that care about each of their students. They both make sure each student understands what is going on each class and with each form they teach.I’ve only missed one day in the last week and a half since I’ve signed up. It’s a hell of a workout and the knowledge gained is worth every drop of sweat.I look forward to every class I attend.

I knew the moment i tried my free class that i would be returning. The atmosphere is very relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The instructors are very knowledgeable! They will make sure you understand the movements and why its important in the real world (without making you feel stupid or like the poor little beginner that you are). I recently started getting myself back into shape. Like many individuals who are excessively overweight, I found it difficult to find a cardio routine to stick with. While places like Planet Fitness and LA fitness may have a bunch of fancy machines and lots of space, they cannot offer the motivation to use them. Krav Maga is a good, physical workout and Don and Ian are very Motivating Instructors who are teaching me something new everyday. During the Hour or two I am there I am always pushing myself harder and after finishing my first month there, I am truly and honestly beginning to notice a difference in my energy levels, stamina and overall well being. The weight is beginning fall off and I could not be happier with the decision to come on board to Valhalla I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

This is an Israeli marshal arts, yoga studio. Don Lams run the studio. There are classes for young kids 3 times a week, adult classes of different levels. The studio is run with pride and attention to detail.

Ive trained at a number of krav maga and other martial arts schools in the area over several years, and Valhalla gets my endorsement for the place to go to learn self defense. Don has my respect as legit defense instructor that happens to be running a business rather than an businessman who wants your money more than he wants you to learn to defend yourself.

I came to Valhalla for my first krav maga class at the urging of my best friend. Ive been taking classes for the past six months because I absolutely love the environment created by Don, Sam, Hunter, and Ian. The classes and seminars are tough, fun, and interactive. Ive pushed past boundaries and comfort zones to become much more capable and confident in the physical confrontations we train for in krav.
