I love living in Oak Lawn. I have seen many positive improvements since I moved here in 2001. I applaud OLPD participating in the new Mental Health program launched by sheriff Tom Dart. I requested such a program way back in 2012. Launching this program is something that the Village can be proud of and lead the way for other municipality. Kudos to former Mayor Sandra Bury and Mayor Terry Vorderer.
Quick fast friendly service at the village in and out
People have always been helpful and friendly
Really nice and helpful staff
Good people in building department
Went for early voting today. Very upset that I seen two people working the voting area with masks not covering their noses. The man directing the traffic inside the building with his mask below his nose and having conversations with everyone. Then the young kid checking you in barely three feet away with his mask not covering his nose. YIKES!!!!
Nice area
Slow government people
Had a great experience with the Oak Lawn Public Works Department. Scott Munis and his crew did an excellent job replacing sections of our sidewalk this month. Scott was great: responsive, professional and personable. We couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process and the end result! A big thank you to all!!
Decent city hall, but if you need to pick up a city sticker for your car prepare to wait - the lines can be long - often an hour wait in July/August. Free parking in the lot and off-street. Building dept. is downstairs, police and the rest on the main floor.
Great Customer Service!!
There was a horrible traffic mess @ 95th & cicero today around lunch time caused by pro-life demonstrators w/ graphic posters on the south side of the street. they were on the sidewalks in front of several businesses west of cicero including palermos.. if this continues or is sanctioned by oak lawn.. i will spend my money & do business elsewhere.
