I reserved a piece of equipment a month in advance for an important job I had to do that would last a month and a half. I called a week before to confirm that the equipment was still reserved under my name; they confirmed it was. Long story short, they call me THE DAY before to let me know that the equipment was no longer available due to a shortage in availability for that particular piece of equipment. I was in disbelief! The credibility of Herc sank underground. In short, they are dishonest and cant fulfill their commitments. It was the first time I would have done business with them, never again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HERC!

Agreed on a 2400.00 rental for a floor scrubber and charged over 4k. We rented the machine a for a month and it was down for 9 days. They charged me every time it broke down and they had to come out and fix the machine. They charged us 500.00 for the scrub brush which was worn down upon delivery and had to be replace 3 days into the rental. We rent machines & lifts on a weekly basis and I thought we would give them a try. Huge mistake will never rent from them again. I would strongly recommend not doing business with HERC Rentals.
