Set up a pro to do my taxes. Spoke with him on the web platform to confirm I can do an in person drop off of my tax documents, and he said yes. Not sure who has my documents at this point, but my pro stopped responding to my web platform messages, emails (the receptionist gave me his email the one time someone answered the line), or calls.Called the H&R support line and was transferred 6 times to the wrong departments, and was unable to get anywhere after 2 hours and fifteen minutes. (Case# 05910978).I have no idea what the status of my taxes are, where my documentation is at this point, and how this sort of thing can happen. Would love to edit this review if I could finally have someone help me, but the current one star is generous.

My tax professional worked well to make my experience smooth and pleasant. He was an extremely good listener, and I always felt that: he had my interests at heart. He was also gave me options to submit my paperwork and pick up my return. An extremely professional operation is the Block Advisors

Agnes Szarka is my tax professional and she is the best. She is so detail oriented and really goes out of her way to ensure our taxes are filed properly and correctly. She is the reason I come back every year.

My tax preparer was not present when I made the appointment to drop my taxes off at their location. She did not call to say that she received them or advise me if any documents were missing. When I made the appointment to sit with her to discuss my taxes she was totally unprepared and unprofessional. Documents were missing from file such as a 1099 form which had a large effect on what I owed, she had last years property tax information and there was a difference of several thousand dollars. I paid $450. A total waste

My rate went up by $100 ($400 to $500) for the same simple taxes as last year. When I asked why it went up so much I was told that just like a supermarket, things go up from year to year. However, 25% hike was a little too much for me when I can do them on my own or go to an outside accountant for less. Thank you for the years of service though.
