I wish google would allow people to give negative stars! the fact that I have to give one star is disappointing! I dont know what is worse, the nasty workers and attitudes or the incompetence! I dont know anyone that hasnt had a problem with this post office and the positive reviews are laughable! has to be family members, no one I know has ever had a positive experience! I will drive all the way to Bloomfield from now on, cause of them Im out money and valuable time spent on a package that they screwed up so badly, and whats even worse, youll never hear an apology from anyone in that post office for their errors.
Today, 9/12/20 I went to the Nutley Branch and along with 4 other people were waiting in line for them to open at 7:30. Both employees were late and they didnt open the doors until 7:43. Nice to have a goverment job. No wonder the USPS is going bankrupt and needs taxpayer money to stay afloat. What a disgrace......................
Great people. Very meticulous about how they do things. Post office is meant to do things correct not at the pace you want, so I recommend off hours for faster service or a time where everyone is not trying to mail at the same time.Maybe it’s me, but I have my mail prelabeled before I get there rather than waiting on line to finally figure out how much it costs to mail. I’d recommend going online to buy your labels, tape it on the box and just drop it off rather than sit on line.
I would give them NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could, the lady in left window not even want to input the my tracking number into computer to help me to find out where was the my parcel. She kept saying I cant track, I cant help!. So, what were you doing there? Why would you got paid. The attitude is ridiculous. Not even want to try to help. You will just ruin your day if want to get some help from them. That lady is the worst staff on planet!
Every single time I’ve ever went to this post office, I’ve been treated very well. I do a good amount of shipping, so I am in the post office between 1-3 times per week. It’s true there are times the line is long, it’s not the fault of any of the employees. I’ve witnessed the verbal abuse the clerks put up with. It amazes me how rude the public can be in general. Most of the rude customers don’t realize the USPS employees are doing their best to NOT waste anyone’s time! If a customer goes to the window and used the incorrect shipping box, written the address incorrectly, didn’t seal their package, etc., the clerk will explain exactly what that person needs to do and then specifically tells that person to return to the same clerk after the customer has packaged their item correctly. No one is allowed to do any of those tasks at the window. While that customer is fixing their issue, the next person in line is called and helped. This continues until the customer completes the task and has their item sealed, addressed correctly, all forms filled out, etc.Following the directions of the clerk- they return to the window. The clerk will always finish with the current customer, and then finish the customer who had the issues. Without fail, there’s always someone who has to be rude... Mostly they first yell at the customer about there being a line. When the clerk explains that he/she was told to come back to that window and he/she had already waited on the line, the rude person usually insists that the person is “cutting” the line and a bunch of nonsense. For a small and very outdated post office, the employees are the ONLY reason that post office operates. I’ve been treated very fairly and have not ever had an issue out of the hundreds of times I’ve been there during this past school year. There are no self service kiosks. Everything is processed by the clerks. The Priority flat rate and Express sections are almost always fully stocked with all sizes of boxes and envelopes. There’s another well stocked section of shipping boxes/mailers that you may PURCHASE to send your item in if you don’t have your own. Here are just a few helpful tips to minimize the amount of time you need to spend inside.- Boxes, bubble mailers, envelopes, tape, labels and pens are all your responsibility. The boxes/envelopes for Priority and Express shipping options are available, but be sure to bring your own tape and pen.- If you have your package correctly packaged, addressed and sealed- the only thing you need to do is pay!!! Educate yourself on the shipping options available to you before coming into the post office. It’s AMAZING how much of a difference that makes!- During the holiday season, plan on a delay. Everyone is sending gifts, returning items, etc. There will be a longer wait then usual.- Being polite, patient and treating the USPS employee with respect goes a very long way.Remember, the customers are the reason for delays and frustration. Please do not take your frustration out on the employees who you expect to make sure your item is delivered!
They dont open at 7:30, wrong info in Google. The window opens only at 8:30am.
The postal employees are nice at this location. The lines dont move lightning fast but going to the post office and expecting the lines to move fast is unrealistic. Thank you to everyone who works here who has helped me over the years!
The manager messed up several mails and packaging to be delivered super late. If a Manager cant handle their first base duty then she or he shouldnt be manager in the first place. This happen on Thursday the 15th, 2017. Tracking number says it was delivered for several packaging for our complex area, but never came in the first place. The next day the poor postman had to delivered all the packagings that were do the day before. The top people should know who they hire. This is not the first time this has happen, but nothing changes. Fire the Manager of please.
Poor customer service very unfriendly, and this has been the most disappointing customer service experience,I’m wondering if the Management Have taught their customer Sce rep (Diane) the difference between professional and personal behaviorCustomer Sce rep (Diane) is disrespectful, rude, slow, mean and nasty & she may need additional training on her customer care attitude and emotional intelligence.Dont go to this Post office to waist your time, its the biggest waste of time ever.. its much better and cheaper to print labels online and have them picked up.
The. Worst. Post. Office. Ever. The line is outside every single day. Only 1 person working there daily. If you don’t believe me, go there and see yourself :)
Kind, helpful woman patiently and accurately took care of everything I needed and then some! Clean place with multiple employees behind the counter unlike the place on Broadway in Newark.
I received friendly service today. Thank you.
People complain of the long lines and slow service, but I have had only good experiences. The line may be long and move slowly, but I know that the employee spending time on someone ahead of me, will give me the same care and consideration that the person at the window is receiving.
I give them 4 stars because the employees are very good. But a star at the post office parking lot entrance is danger
Passed 3 Weeks I See A Post office Truck Parked in Front of my Home in Nutley New Jersey For 2 hours with Mail Women Sleeping in the Mail Truck 2 to 3 Times a week for the Passed Month is This How Mail people Get There OVERTIME! And I Havent Got My Mail!
The worst service ever!!! No body knows anything and no one wants to do anything about it!!!! I highly recommend to refrain from this if you can call it service!!!
Absolutely the WORST post office on the planet. Broken. Can never be reached by phone. Never pick up packages at door as requested. Distribution center never responds unless a customer service inquiry is made. Awful.
They never, never, NEVER answer the phone. I have to show up personally to speak to the Postmaster???? Why?
Slowest post office in the world I don’t understand why they don’t change the employees it’s been long time like this
I really had it with Nutley post office employees. They’re a bunch of lazy being collecting salary they don’t deserve .I get my mail delivered by my neighbors when they find it in their mailbox, blocks away from my house
I would put a half star if I could. I walked in at 5:01 to pickup a package that I needed that night. After walking in and getting to the open window and was told by a very rude woman that they were closed and they would not help me to come back tomorrow. Mind you she is currently with a someone weighting a package for him and using their closed down computers to ship something out.
Worst Post Office on earth, long lines, veeeeeeeery slow employees. They never ever answer their phone....ever.
They are super slow and really unprofessional. Use any other mail service but not that one
15 people in line and only one retail associate
Employees are very friendly.
Slowest staff ever
Really?!?! You people cant answer a phone and multitask?!?!
