Gym is really great, staff is really friendly, not too many obnoxious people there. However they only have 3 squat racks and one machine, many times I have to wait 15-20 minutes to get a squat rack. People tend to drag their feet when using them.

I love this gym the staff are very friendly and the facility is very clean. The hours are very convenient and it’s never too crowded. I love the upbeat music, but wish they had more variety. My suggestion would be maybe play more 80’s and 90’s every now and then. Otherwise, you guy’s are Awesome!!

Facilities are clean and locker room spacious. Only gripe is that Id like to see at least one more Flat Bench Press. 2 isnt enough when the gyms at 50% capacity let alone more than that. Abundance of cardio machines, tho theyre Life Fitness machines which seem to be my least favorite brand of all the ones I use as there arent much settings besides the most basic ones. Good gym

I love Blink in Nutley, it may be a smaller blink but the staff is on top of maintenance and cleanliness. I’ve always felt welcomed by the staff and they are following good covid guidelines. It’s currently picking up and looking a little more crowded but I’m always able to complete my workout routines. Although the lot is metered, I never pay. However, they do offer a parking lot that is for the gym so I believe it’s more of preference. I highly recommend this blink.

Always clean and my trainer is great

I did a class on Blink Fitness yesterday; it was a great experience; it has the old school boxing gym vibes. The coaches are professional, and people are friendly, and they really get the best out of you. I definitely recommend the gym!

Very clean! The staff are sweet and helpful! The only unfortunate thing is there are some machine hog culprits, one in particular I observed multiple times being on equipment as long as 45 minutes. He also gave my brother-in-law a hard time for asking if he could jump in after waiting for a half an hour. During the evening hours people want to get in and out, especially during these unprecedented times. That behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. We all pay out monthly fee and are equally important.

Been a member almost since day one and love working out here. Clean location and equipment well maintained. Super friendly staff and gym members!

Everything about this location is greatThough, the bathroom needs some attention. The toilets sometimes have issues and the sinks either work or doesnt. Soap sometimes isnt available

Its been 8 weeks since I started. I find the gym very clean and staff very pleasant and helpful.gym seems to have enough equipment and cleaning stations.mask policy is very much enforced by staff.specialy, TARA goes above and beyond to make sure everyones mask is pulled up and covering there nose.JORDAN at front desk goes above and beyond to assist and make members feel welcomed. If there is a complain of someone not following equipment cleaning or mask policy,its addressed ASAP. Ofcourse like every gym there are some muscle heads useing 2 machines at the same time and some who sit and text/lounge around on equipments. Overall a very good experience for me.

Great price and open early.

One of the smaller Blinks, tends to fill up fast during the pandemic. The parking lot is also metered. East Orange is bigger, free parking lot, and doesnt fill full.

Wouldn’t trade this gym for anything !!! Keep up the amazing work and thank you for maintaining the gym clean and safe as always.

Update 10/29/20 - I have returned to Blink in Nutley for the first time since the start of the pandemic. I visited twice during the week of 10/25/20. I am there at 5:00 AM when they open, so this review is only for observations made between 5 and 6 AM. In my opinion the place is cleaner than ever and the staff is doing all they can to keep members safe. Every other elliptical and treadmill machine is blocked off to maintain social distance. Your temperature is taken when entering and masks are available if someone forgets theirs, although I have not seen anyone not wearing a mask.Blink is very clean. Its machines are very new although some are closer together than I like. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment. One tip I have for people who have used other gyms is to bring your own towel because they are not provided. Another tip is, parking is free in the municipal lot if you leave the gym before a certain hour. The staff can provide the time they start giving tickets. I am always out by 6:30 AM.

Be sure to money in meter for parking. The parking control come routinely, on time!

They asked me to come in even though I told them I have covid. Beware members people with covid are being asked to enter the location to cancel or freeze their membership. Also no refunds are given to people who suffered through the pandemic because of illness

Unfortunately, I’d like to give this gym 5 stars but I can’t. I get it’s covid but to have a long line outside the gym during the week to get in is not what I’m trying to do. It’s already a drag to get to the gym now you have to wait outside in the cold to get in. They don’t have a time slot system or any system for that matter to avoid this and that’s why I give 2 stars. I hope they get their stuff together and come up with a something.

I have been a member for only two months and I am so happy I joined. Tons of equipment that provides a total workout. The gym and locker rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The best part of Blink is that they have real trainers who know what they are doing. Angelique is really knowledgeable and will help you with your weight loss and fitness goals. Blink really is a great place with affordable fees.

I called due to an issue regarding my account on a Saturday and was told that there wouldn’t be a manager there until Monday. I decided to go in person during the week and there still wasn’t a manager there. I have been trying to get in touch with a manager for multiple weeks and still nothing. This is very unprofessional, poorly managed and concerning that the leadership here does not focus on the clientele’s issues.

The first gym Ive ever been to or joined where everything was well kept and super clean! Each time Ive been there, there is always someone clean all the equipment. Its great to see them take pride and cleanliness for the clientele

My usual spot nowadays -- Im a transplant from the Clifton location and I really enjoy this gym. The layout is great, and the equipment is phenomenal. The personal training staff seems on point -- there are a lot of one-on-one sessions going on and they know their stuff! There also is a really nice group training/class room separate from the rest of the gym, which most Blinks dont have. The staff are, for the most part, helpful and friendly (there are a couple of special gems that always make my day!) but there are one or two who need an attitude adjustment, or to find a job that does not involve interacting with people. Most of the members are courteous, but like everywhere else youll find an entitled few who think that gym etiquette does not apply to them. The workout area is usually pretty clean but the bathroom always smells horrible (they have vanity sinks that have no place in a gym b/c they are never really clean). You cant park in the adjacent lot for free but theres a free lot a little ways away, which you have to drive around the block to get to. I just bike there or park on the street.

Really nice place not overly crowded. Very clean the staff greets you as you walk in and when you leave they make sure to say goodnight. I hope it doesnt change. So far so good love their machine to work out too.

Gym is clean, spacious, and there are many cardio and weight machines. Its not crowded, staffs are friendly, and it has flexible business hours. There are lockers and showers available and a variety of reasonable membership fees. I like the membership with unlimited guest. Go Blink!

They scheduled my free start up session on 2/14/2020, yes Valentines day. Received a text message on thursday from the trainer wanting to reschedule because “Valentines Day has me at dinner reservations for 6:30!” Which is totally fine. I understand you have a date and its valentines day. So we reschedule for the next day with another trainer. I walked in the next day saying I have a session with their trainer and guess what I was never rescheduled. Fine okay probably forgot. Eh good thing there was another trainer available.As a personal trainer, one of the things you should do is correct my form if I’m doing it wrong, esp when I already told the trainer I can’t do this specific workout. Now my shoulder is in pain for dayssss.. and she told me “the body you want, you’ll probably get in 2-3 yrs, with me I can help you get it in 6mos or less...” thats how you get injured and don’t discourage other people esp if they are working hard.Gym is always packed. But clean and Nice equipment. Staff are friendly.

I love this gym. It is super clean and the staff is helpful, welcoming, and friendly. I wish they offered towel service. However I appreciate that towel service costs more and the membership price is a great deal - so lack of towels is forgivable. I also appreciate that bottled water is just $1. So many gyms jack up the price of bottled water - here it is fair and reasonable.

Very clean, nice equipment, friendly staff, and a lot of parking. locker rooms are clean and gym is very spacious. I’ve been there in the late afternoon on a Friday only a handful of people there!

My wife and I came to this location a couple times and one of the trainers was with a client sitting down by the machine and wouldnt let anyone use it. Me and a couple others who asked to use it were just looking at them not using it for a good 20 minutes. Also, there are other gym members who hog up the machines and dont even use them. The womens bathroom sink smells like sewer water for months. Not a bad site but not the best either.

Love the gym but they need to put up signs telling people to stop taking up equipment just to sit on their phone me and text. I had to wait 20 minutes for a piece of equipment because someone was just sitting in it texting.

The gym just opened its doors to the public on 10/19 @ 1pm. Grand Opening, So i dont understand the reviews before mine. Give them a chance or not sound like you would be a pain to deal with in the gym anyway. Starting this gym myself this week so a complete review will follow soon.🇺🇸👍🏻

I wantee to sign up to Blink because a friend recommended it and I need to find a new gym.Membership office claims to be open on the weekend till 6:00 PM, today is Sunday 9/15 and is 4:00 PM, they are closed with a lock on the door. Its concerning when a business doesnt keep their business hours promises.. Very disappointed....

The price, location and staff are nice. In the beginning everything is really clean and everybody racked their weights.. I’ve been going here since it opened... and I go frequently enough to see that the place is getting less clean. I don’t see the workers cleaning much anymore like the beginning.. I find the towellets everywhere, they don’t watch out to re rack somebody else weights(Unfortunately)... the bathroom stalls sometime didn’t have toilet paper. Idk, maybe I’m used to going to the blinks in the city.. they should be taking lessons from them, because all I do is see a cleaning person.. Atleast one on shift, two during peak times.. I always see the front people, one person is greeting the other person is always sitting, instead of sitting.. maybe you should be cleaning and on the floor to check the weights??? I’m sure this isn’t Corp. standards.. manhattan blinks are was ALWAYS clean..I changed over because this one was so conveniently near my new home.. also there aren’t much machines there.. not enough assortment of weight machines.. cardio there’s a lot.. maybe too much treadmills.. also I noticed that the main workout open space.. the floor already looks so old, meanwhile its not even a year old.. the floor is ALWAYS dirty... my hands are a shade of grey after double my floor workouts.. idk- It’s cheap tho, so I’ll deal 🤷🏼‍♀️

Clean and everyone racks their weight. Lots of machines and its never packed. They have free parking accross the lot in the NHS senior lot.They need a decline Smith as well as more bench presses but otherwise fully stocked including DBs weight bags and balls, warm up area, snack bar, TVs, and they have 4 squat racks.No classes but the low price is great.
