They were a tad behind when I went, but they were constantly coming in to keep me updated on where they were at with my car and when they took it back. My experience with Mitten Auto Tint could be described as a comedy of errors. I had high hopes after seeing the positive reviews, so I took my car in for window tinting in April 2021. The windows came out terribly--even after letting the tint cure for a month, there were more bubbles in it than there are stars in the sky. After I sent photos and asked if that was normal, Jake (the owner) responded immediately and was really nice and apologetic. He let me know that they had an issue with an ex-employee who had lied about qualifications, and that my bad tint job was likely done by that person. Jake had me bring it back in to be fixed, which I appreciated, but as soon as I picked my car up, I saw that they had only fixed maybe two windows and just left everything else as it was. Also, they kept me waiting way after 6:00 PM, and then as I was driving away down Nine Mile, an unknown cell phone started ringing inside my car. Turns out one of the employees had left his cell phone in it, so I had to go back to the shop to drop it off. I then sent additional photos showing all the bubbles and imperfections in the tint job, and they said I could bring it in a third time, but I was heading out of town and couldnt bring it back when they said. So, I will now have to get the tint professionally removed and redone at my own expense. It seems like a lot of people have great things to say about this place, but I would be cautious. Two stars instead of one because Jake does seem to be a good/responsive business owner, but my job must have fallen through the cracks somehow.

This place is awesome! I came in wanting to use my Groupon knowing so little about tint percentages, but they were very thorough with teaching and guiding me on my decision. I also asked if I can add on to get my taillights tinted. They did it with no hesitation. I was only there for maybe an hour !

Jake and his crew do an amazing job and they seem to really enjoy what they do. I initially started with just getting my windows tinted, but after 2 months with this new black car I finally realized Jake was right and that a ceramic coating is absolutely necessary. They were able to reverse the damage that the car dealership and a few car washes caused and the car now looks better than it did the day I drove it off the lot! They tinted all of my windows for my 2017 Jeep compass besides my windshield. They did a great job. I just now ordered the ceramic coating for my windshield and hopefully I can get them to do my headlights as LED. Highly recommended.

As far as the tinting goes it looks pretty good, but i was quoted one price and when i got there it was $80 more. There was a small scratch on the car that appeared after the process so not sure what happened there but i like the way the windows look.

I went to Mitten Auto Tint to get a price quote for my truck one day and they beat the price of every other quote I had received. Not only did they save me money but the quality of the work was exceptional. They had my truck in their bay the very next day and had it finished by 1pm. I brought in my new Rav4 to get my front windows tinted like the back windows. They did a fantastic job. the front windows were a perfect match to the back windows. The price was lower then I expected. They even put a sticker to prevent me from accidentally rolling down my windows in the 3-5 day waiting period, which was very helpful. A while ago, I was looking for a reputable place to get my car windows tinted. I noticed all of the reviews for this place so I decided to give it a shot. I was thoroughly impressed with everything. I was able to get the tint that I wanted on the car and the guys did an incredible job making sure that it was detailed, no bubbles or anything.Originally, I went in for the black carbon 30% tint, then I went back and got the black carbon 20%. Still as amazing as before. They also do much more than just tinting jobs, they even replace lights on the car too.

Jake and Josh are my Heroes! They tinted my 2016 C7 Corvette Z06 Convertible flawlessly then followed that up with custom painting the calipers to match the convertible top including heat resistant decals that read Z06. Impressive is an understatement! Use them...you wont regret it!!!

These guys are great with customer service. I called them requesting pricing and they supported me with my inquiry swiftly. I also was able to contact them through Instagram for more specific pricing on unique projects for vehicles such as custom installation. I did not end up moving forward with my projects due to the pricing I felt was a bit over the top when compared to competitors in the local market. That being said however, they do great work and you can tell great care is given when you hand over your vehicle for a service.

I recently referred a very close family friend to Jake and his team at Mitten Auto. I work in the industry and did a LOT of research before decided on Mitten. Its rare that I go outside my group of people, but I am not disappointed!I was a little nervous at first, as my family friend is hard of hearing and gets overwhelmed very easily. I’m very picky and expect clean lines on window tints. I was shown a personal vehicle of one of the employees, and was very impressed with their work. Great place took a Rolls-Royce ghost to them usually very skeptical taking a car that expensive to any place . i needed some wrapping they did an AWESOME job and even put the rr symbol on it looks factory. very highly recommended
