Stay completely away from this fraud franchise!! Yes it’s a franchise and claim to have one owner but it’s a fraud company.I called this company on Saturday, September 11, 2021 to hire same day moving (as the business name suggests). The guy answering the phone was so nice and assured me they would show up at 2 pm and charged me $100 deposit. At 3 pm no one showed up so I called the company, no answer. At 5 pm a woman manager called me and apologized that they were overbooked and assured me they would come next day, Sunday between 8 am and 10 am, and even offered a discount of 10% for my troubles. The next morning at 11 am, no show. I called the number many times, left messages, called the manager’s so called cell number too. A guy calls back at noon and tells me they are understaffed and will come at 2 pm.At this point, I was assured this was always a gimmick for them. They never showed up and did not refund my deposit money!!

They had to reschedule my original move date but we’re very accommodating and the two gentlemen that moved my boxes were polite, professional and very hard working. Thank you for your help!

Best movers ever! Just packed up our stuff to move to Tennessee. Done in half the time! Super nice, very professional. Very impressed with their efficiency. Showed up on time, too! So glad we went with this company. Very pleased.

My promised ‘same day move’ yesterday remains incomplete and did not deliver to contracted expectations. Instead the company sent 1 young man (not a professional mover with 100 hours of training) with a U-Haul truck, six hours after the promised time, and without a furniture dolly or hand truck to move our household belongings from a 10x20 storage unit to our 2500 sq ft home. Further, the lack of proper resourcing (3 men were promised) compelled my 58-year old husband, myself and our children to do our best to help out. I am now calling the owner (Heaven) to understand when my move will be completed, with proper equipment and resourcing, to contract expectations. Thus far she is ignoring my calls.The one-star is solely to recognize the effort of the young man, a friend or family of Heaven, that truly worked hard and tried his best to deliver as much of our belongings as possible.

Milan and Mo did an amazing job! They were kind, helpful and fast! They moved things exactly where I wanted them, treated my possessions very carefully, and even tried to help me problem-solve setting up my floor to ceiling bookshelves! I’m so glad to have found this company and 100% recommend.

Paying over $700 of 5 hours of moving for 2 kids getting paid $15/hr. They dont supply hand trucks, dollys, etc. I told them it would need to be moved to a POD in the parking lot, no one was prepared. The kids did the best they could, but not professional movers by any means. Just ridiculous and you cant get anyone to answer the phone when you call. I looked at 3 movers, thought this was the best, I was wrong.

We were happy with the service we received from SDM it was a third move with them !! They made sure everything was wrapped up properly and unloaded everything where I wanted it !!

Movers were efficient, however company charged our credit card three times for one service. Not responsive to our calls, voicemail full. Having to dispute the charges with the credit card company

Deandre and Adam, the movers who did the work, were excellent. Those guys are friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the management of Same Day Movers are terrible... rude, difficult to get ahold of on the phone, did not schedule appropriately for our move... Deandre and Adam should open their own business because they are really good at customer service and I am sure they could do better on their own than working with the owners of Same Day.

I called and they called me back with a different dstecm than I had scheduled for. They did not have anything available for my move. Courteous people overall.

Listen, do NOT, And i mean do NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! they no show, and when they do snow it’s when they feel like it (they were two hours late to my s heckled and PAID for move!) i’ve used them twice (i have no idea why i used them a se one time after they were hours late my first time i booked) i’m currently waiting at 9:40 for them to show up to their 9:00 am scheduled arrival. i am absolutely getting my deposit back and never calling these people again. i’ll make sure to blast this company on every platform i use.

This company is Horrible and not reliable!!I used them to move from one condo to another. They rescheduled my delivery date and time twice. they finally showed up late of course and there only 2 movers instead of 3. Also they are very hard to get in touch with and no one answers the phone. I will not use them again!! The owner needs to get his company together!!!

I scheduled a move with this company and it was nothing but trouble from the time I made the phone call. They could not hear on the phone due to noise and unprofessional conversations in the back ground, they charged my card twice then called the day before the move and canceled. The other reviews were due to covid... this had to do with their lack of professionalism and care. save yourself and dont use them.

I wish I could review their team but that would require showing up. They have been an unprofessional mess.Called me late Friday to reschedule my Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon and then didnt show up by 5pm for my estimated 10-12 hour move, stopped answering phones, and no returned calls.Now I get to pay short notice prices to someone else because theyre incompetent

I booked this company 3 weeks prior to my move and they showed up 1.5 hours late. I was supposed to 4 movers but only 2 showed up with a smaller truck than what I had reserved. Once they entered and reviewed our items the 2 men were insistent that we try to move our move to the next day because they could not get 2 more crew members to show up due to a previous job the night before. We convinced them to at least try to move half of our items and that well reschedule rest for the next day. They hesitantly agreed and started with our nursery furniture. They were doing a poor job wrapping the items and when I questioned them, they dismissed what I said stating they had years of experience moving others. My husband and I started to talk in our indian language to each others sharing that the movers did not want us to comment or watch what they were doing. They got offended assuming and stating that we are were talking about them and that they could not work under the mental anguish of us commenting on how they were handling our furniture nor having us talk in our language because the mover has been to mumbai and knows that we were talking about him. So HE WALKED OUT! Mind you they banged our dresser on our front cement step while trying to move it, the same one I shared not wrapped correctly. First of all, we are not from Mumbai, what does our language or ethnicity have to do with their job? Secondly, it is my right to speak or do whatever I want in the 4 walls of my own home. The manager called me once I messaged him to call me because of this incident. He was apologetic and tried to rectify the situation and out of now where all his crew members were available to help. We did not feel comfortable going with this company for the irresponsibility above and the racial remarks made. If I cannot comment on how you are doing on your job which is to safely take my belongings to my new home, then why cant I make remarks and ask you to wrap somethin a bit more?! Worst experience ever.

This place was a complete joke!!! The female that I spoke to would ask a question and when giving important details of the move- she would put me on mute to talk to other people. I actually heard her shutting the door to the car while speaking with me- as I was providing information about our furniture items! Lol I asked what her name was and she hung up on me!!! How unprofessional and rude.Contacted the business again and left a message to speak to a manager. A sweet woman by the name of Siga apologized and said the manager would get back to me.I’m glad I discovered this now because I was calling to confirm the move details and provide my credit card number. I just reviewed the reviews and won’t be using this place afterall.

Absolutely the worst. I had to make a very last minute move. I scheduled the move for Sunday on the previous Tuesday. Paid them the deposit. They confirmed the 8-10am arrival time the day before along with the address. The day of the move they dont show 10min after 10 I called and had to leave a message asking where the movers were. The manager MJ called back 5mins later to verify the address. Which I did. 45 mins later MJ calls back and tells me that unfortunately the movers could not come because they could not find my house. And went to the next move which would be an 8hr mobeI asked why no one contacted me and it was explained to me that their phones were not working properly and they could only communicate through FaceTime. Long story short I canceled the move and found someone else that could do it last minute.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITELY NOT YOUR MONEY.

Never again! Movers were late and showed up with small truck which caused a 8 hr move to be over 12hours. Didn’t get my furniture put together after being delivered. Absolute worse experience ever.

Spare yourself the grief and DO NOT use this company!!! I have never come across a company which is as poorly managed as this moving company. Originally I was scheduled for a move on Sunday. Received a conformation at 8:00 am. By 10:00 the confirmation was cancelled. Rescheduled for Wednesday between 8 & 10am. I specifically informed them that the owner of the pick up place could not be there after 10:30. They never showed up and I never received a call until 2:00pm. They apologized and said by 4:30 they would pick up and deliver. By 7:00 PM nothing was heard from the company. I never received a response to any of the messages that I left for the company. I had made special arrangements to be home on the delivery day plus paid money to have my dog boarded so that he wouldnt be in the way. These people have no regard towards others time and money. It will be a miracle if I ever get my deposit back.

My daughter was moving. We rented a van and picked up her new couch. We got it stuck in the fairly narrow entrance way. We called all around with no luck for help. This company came out and swiftly solved our problem. Three very respectful young men very quickly moved her couch into the house. I was ecstatic. The fee was more than reasonable due to the fact we needed help right away. Wow, I cant say enough good things. Thank you for responding and not charging an arm and a leg for your services. Im moving in about 6 months and they can be assured of my business at that time. I was very impressed with how quick they were and how nice they were. Thank you again and again Same Day Movers. Update: Owner contacted me and apologized for the bad experience. They think it was one off and compensated me for my troubles.I really appreciate management really owning up and taking action to compensate customers. I think owner really care and my experience might be anomaly.I had a compete unprofessional experience with same day movers.They showed an hour late and without tools. I have to run to neighbors and hardware store to get them tools. When I called manager to give tools to them, she mentioned that they are not picking her calls. Care was missing in handling stuff. They did not wrap couches or use blankets to safe guard stuff. I saw them dragging chairs on the floor.Movers were super slow, seem to be getting tired quickly and taking frequent breaks.They missed certain furniture parts at the old house so our beds, dining table could not be assembled. I have to run back and get some of those parts from the old house. They seem to be very tired and we asked them to dump boxes in the dining area to make it easier. They did not want to make second trip to collect remaining stuff. They werecomplaining about manager and said they are too tired to do it.I spoke to manager and she insisted that they must make second trip same day or next day I will be charged for truck fee. Movers said that their manager did not care about them and they are too tired to do it.I made a decision to not do the second trip as movers simply did not want to do it. I have to hire a new mover second day to finish the job.I had fantastic experience with second mover. They showed up on time with tools, wrapped couches, handle things with care etc.I choose simple movers looking at good google reviews but it was totally bad experience with me.

My movers were great. I was moving from my one bedroom apartment to my first house. I didn’t have much but my furniture was very heavy. These guys lifted it with ease. As I was moving into my home the seller was moving out so you can imagine the chaos but these guys handled it very well. I definitely recommend them. The price wasn’t bad either.

I would rather strap my couch on the roof of my car and move my things one carload at a time than use them again. Everything is going great and then move out day rolls around...no one shows. No phone call, nothing- their business line goes straight to voicemail. Hours later we get a call saying something about workers on strike and they have movers but cant do the move today. Okay, frustrating, but we dont have to be out for a week so we are understanding. Date gets rescheduled for following friday.Friday comes around and we get 2 confirmation calls for our appointment time...appointment time comes and goes. No phone call. All lines go straight to voicemail. Had to call off another day of work. Waiting around. Wondering if someones coming. Wondering what to do because we have to be out of our apartment the next day and its too late to find another mover because we already called around last week and everyone is booked.Hours later, another phone call. Oh, the move before yours took longer than expected, we cant move you tonight. How about monday?...explained, slightly more frustrated, that we cannot wait until monday because we have to legally be out of our apartment by saturday. They promise 8am saturday they will have movers there to take care of our move.8am saturday!!!...no one shows. No phone call. We are calling, all lines to voicemail. Leaving messages,wondering what the heck is going on. Hours later. Phone call!oh, we will be there at 3pm. Promise. 3pm comes and goes. 4pm we get a phone call asking us if we still want them to come...at this point we are so angry but we have to get our stuff out so tell them to still come.Hours later. Probably about 8pm. 3 movers show up who look like they could not care less about their job or our stuff. One is facetiming while the other two movers start getting unloaded. They use my phone charger. They use our bathroom without asking...they load up 25% of our belongings in their truck and tell us that they cant take the rest because there is no room which was a blatant lie.We are absolutely STEAMING by this point. The movers scratch up our new apartment walls moving our brand new furniture in. They didnt wrap the furniture like we were told they would. THEN they REFUSE to leave without payment and are standing on our porch while we are trying to sort this out with the manager/owner? While we are on the phone with Mohammed, the manager, the guys try coming back into our apartment.Mohammeds telling us that this was supposed to be a civil call while telling us what we are going to pay for the move. We are refusing to pay for the move at this point and tell him so. We tell him his other manager/owner can call us if they have a problem with that.It continues!! At midnight, while we are back at our old apartment packing up our belongings because the movers werent coming back to finish the move and we still have to be out, we get charged over $600 on our card.Not even is the $600 an overcharge from what the service would even cost in the first place, but we did not authorize any charges so they pulled our card information.We have reported them to the better business bureau. Now we are dealing with bank fraud charges and if that doesnt solve the discrepancy, we will be in court with them.I have NEVER experienced service like this and I hope to save someone else the same experience. Go somewhere else.

Don’t use this is a Terrible, Terrible moving company.They came 2 hours late, pulled up in a Budget Rent a Truck 39.99 for all day use which it said on its side. They sent 2 young men who didn’t have any idea what they were doing. I was paying by the hour 125.00 for 2 men, they were carrying 1 box at a time. I asked if they had a dolly, they said “No, they don’t give us anything to move people “ They also didn’t have anything to cover furniture with. I caught one of the men trying to put a wooden TV stand on top of my Brand New Leather Couch, without nothing to protect it. They charged me 725.00 to move a 2 bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment only 0.4 miles. They ended up breaking 3 items one a large picture frame and lied about it said he has no idea what happened. Worse of all they cause a Rip in my new Leather Couch that I’m still paying on. The owner Moe keeps saying he is going to make it right and never does. It’s been 2 weeks now. I’ve been told checks in the mail, I’ll meet you at your house, doesn’t show, doesn’t answer his phone. I filed a law suit yesterday, stay away from this place, it’s Terrible Terrible TerribleMar

The movers were super good. I was moving from my three bedroom apartment to my first house. These amazing guys lifted it with ease and care. I definitely recommend them.

Tony and his teammate did a great job. They were quick and efficient which was super helpful as we were moving my mom from her 1 bedroom apartment into a senior community. Other movers previously had trouble getting my mom’s couch through the narrow door way but Tony had it figure out in less than 5 minutes. Also, The rate I received was less than the other moving companies in my area. I would definitely recommend!

I had an appointment booked and they did not show up until after 3 hours later. I called repeatedly and no one had a way of getting a hold of the movers. Here’s the deal if you make an appointment window you should live up to your appointment time. Don’t overbook your day and you won’t have angry customers.

Had a good moving experience with them on Sunday. They were fast but still very careful with my stuff. Only inconvenient thing was that their machine was not working so I had go get cash. Definitely recommend them.

Worst moving company and moving experience ever! The guys couldn’t move any slower and refused to move half of the stuff. The stuff they did move they were rough with and broke my grill. They drove 10 miles an hour to milk the clock. I had to do half of the moving myself because they were that bad. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Zero stars! Same Day Movers are excellent. We fully expected minor damage to walls and furniture ad part of the moving process. Not with the men who moved us in and out of both homes. Not only were they super careful, but they were also very fast. I highly recommend Same Day Movers to others for their moving needs.

Same Day Movers TWICE did not show up to move a piece of gym equipment for my good friend.

It is now 10 am and in the last hour and fifteen minutes, Same Day Movers have not only compensated me up front for the slight damage but it was done in a very professional and kind way. They have shown me they stand behind their moves and solve the problem quickly. I couldn’t want anything more than that. I’m thrilled to say in my book they are definately a 5 ⭐️ Company !!!

Two problems:1. Setting arriving time between 1pm and 4pm. I had repeated many time to ask movers to arrive as early as possible, but they always answered movers will come in several minutes or refused to pick my calls. I started to wait from 1pm. The two workers arrived at 5pm.2. When two workers arrived, they had worked all day and very tired. Their working speed is slower than normal, but the company still charged me with original price.

Two men from Same Day Movers worked on my case. They were fast and moved everything in two hours into my town home. I would recommend them.

Update- they offered a check to compensate for a portion of damages. I had planned to update the review once this was concluded. I was called and texted multiple times over the past few days ordering me to take down this review. I asked for them to stop because we were dealing with a personal emergency and felt like we were being harrassed. Today I received a phone call from someone claiming to be the manager. He started by demanding I remove this review because they paid me but because I didnt remove this review they would cancel the check. I had never agreed to that. I agreed to update the review. He demanded to know what I was going to add to the update, I stated that an unbiased and true account of what happens would be shared. He proceeded to yell and scream at me saying that I had no right to any opinion on a public forum because I was a woman and my husband happened to be the one to use his card to pay for them. No one has the right to have their voice taken from them or be screamed at.So per my agreement, an update has been made.Despite the high reviews, I urge you not to use this company.Our experience was terrible from start to finish and we are still suffering from their terrible service.We were not given notice (as we were promised) of their arrival time. Instead we received a sudden pounding on our door and before we could open it, the head mover threw open the door allowing it the slam into the wall. There was no acknowledgment of the fact we were less than 8ft from the door yelling for him to wait and we would be right there. At the start, we noticed that one of the movers was high as a kite and wreaked of skunk weed. He asked to use the restroom, which I had no trouble with him doing, but he proceeded to miss the target and instead left his mark outside of the toilet. The movers then proceeded into moving the items. In this process they left large gouges in the walls. We assisted in providing our own plastics wrap because we were informed that they forgot theirs and we shouldnt mind. After loading the truck they left behind multiple large items that we had specifically marked and told them was part of the move. The truck still had plenty of room for these items. We had to later spend more money to get another trailer to move the items they left behind. Upon unloading, they again marked up the walls and mishandled our items. Im still not sure how they managed it, but they broke our new mattress.Totalling all the damages, it is easily over $700 in damages. My husband and I have attempted to speak to a manager but have gotten the run around. When I spoke to someone about this at the office, the gentleman attempted to tell me that he was handling this with my husband and I shouldnt be getting involved. It was heavily implied that I should let my husband handle this because hes the man and Im just a woman.Weve given them over a month to respond and correct their errors, however they have not. They continue to refuse to return phone calls and claim the manager will be in on Monday. We call every Monday and still no manager.

I had a good time with Sameday movers. Initially I had got estimates for just loading and moving but later added packing too and got a good deal.On the move day, though they were slightly late, the did an excellent job of quickly and conveniently packing and loading without minding any of our specific requests in packing stuffs. After 4 hours of driving in truck still have same energy and smile while unloadong.A complete job professionally done. No tear ups or shabby jobs worth compaining.Always would recommend to anybody.

First they charged me for the truck which in my case I didnt need I was only moving 1 building over. They didnt put my couch back together correctly. They scratched my TV and the left a lot it things that I needed them to move lets not forget they didnt put my bed back together either.
