Yes, the wait was worth it. My family doctor raved about Ernie, adding that he is the absolute best with orthotics. Kim was delightful during the scheduling, as well as when I arrived. She was also very nice throughout the checking-in and out process. I was sure grateful she scheduled the return visit appointment at the time of my initial appointment call. I appreciated her being kind, professional and thorough with the new-patient paperwork explanation.Ernie was just delightful, and so obviously well-versed and knowledgeable during his explanatory delivery about orthotics, and their role in providing relief through subtle correcting of foot-alignment and gait concerns. I am so looking forward to a new pair, as mine are over a decade old. If you’ve waited this long to address the problem, please consider a few more months waiting for an appointment. You will get the same undivided attention with your concerns, and ultimately feel it was well worth the time.

I went in 3 years ago thinking I would never be able to walk comfortably with my drop foot. All of the other AFOs were painful. Ernie fitted me with the best orthotic I’ve been riding my trike and snapped it. So a new one will be arriving to replace it. I enjoy seeing Ernie and Melissa. Always warm, and personable. This is absolutely the best place ever!!!!!!!

Ernie is one of the kindest and caring professionals. He has made numerous AFOs for my daughter and numerous PTs have commented on how good of job. The phone staff is also always pleasant and helps to best of the their abilities.

Im not sure about this place anymore I was referred to this by my doctor which I will now complain to him about this Wolverine Orthotics place where the billing department has received double payment for brace I had made and refused to reimburse me my funds, which my next attempt is to reach out to the Better Business Bureau these companies need to report it when they take advantage of poor African-American people knowing that our lives are very hard as it is I just asked treat us like you treat Jason!

Wolverine Orthotics and Ernie Bastian are professionals full of excellence beyond compare. All of the staff members have a caring demeanor and are truly concerned about each individual patient. Ernie is superior to any of the other medical equipment/ custom orthotic companies in the area. Thats why he/they are always busy, but they do have cancellations its worth checking for one. I definitely recommend contacting this absolutely wonderful group of superb people whose expertise is phenomenal.

Ernie is absolutely great. The staff is also incredibly friendly. As soon as I started talking to Ernie, I could tell immediately that this guy is really good at what he does. For example, he actually predicted where and when I sometimes have foot pain by watching my gait. That might not sound like a big deal, but he was very specific and the movements were subtle. You can also tell that Ernie is a straight shooter and cares about the clients.

Great place and great people. Yes it can be hard to get an appointment but it is worth the wait. I have had to go other places because of insurance and the results were horrible.I would sooner pay cash out of pocket here than go anywhere else.

Office staff are very pleasant and friendly. Ernie was awesome! Very friendly and concerned. Just what we needed! Looking forward to working together for my sons needs for years to come.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. Ernie and the entire team at Wolverine Orthotics. I have had more experience than any mother should have with medical professionals, and was looking for a new orthotic place for my child. I had worked with a different orthotic place before and I was very unhappy with the long waits, lack of urgency, sterile environment, and lack of compassion for families. From the first day I called, we were treated like royalty. Mr. Ernie is in the process of obtaining a second orthotic for my child, and went out of his way to stay late to accommodate my work schedule so she could be measured quickly. I have also received personal calls from him to discuss my childs care. Melissa and all the other staff are very friendly. My child is actually excited to go see Mr. Ernie and draw with the crayons all over the examination room bed. Mr. Ernie always offers to put the art up on the wall, and his bedside manner is wonderful. This has been one of the best decisions I have made for my childs medical care.

I can not say enough good things about Ernie and the rest of his staff. If you need an orthotist, dont hesitate, go make an appointment now. The office staff is wonderfully kind and helpful. Over the years they have walked me through the maze of referrals, authorizations and other hoops presented by insurers. Ernie is not only incredibly warm and a talented orthotist, he goes above and beyond for his patients. From making my orthotics work in soccer cleats and dress shoes to reviving old orthotics from the dead when I was uninsured, he is simply the best. I dont know why anyone goes anywhere else!

Called for an appointment early August - they are booking out till end of November - Im sure they are good - but for this type of problem 4 months is not going to work for most people
