I attended a birthday party here and had a really great time. Jake was our host and he was super attentive and knowledgeable, and just made our experience amazing. Also Jason, the bartender, did a fantastic job!

Love this place! My first visit was over 15 years ago and when I was ask to put together a team event on October, I instantly knew what we needed to do. Our team had such a great time, the food was good and staff was always friendly. Thank you Amy for helping me pull this event off!

This place is lots of fun!! No special skills need and its a good work out. It has two game rooms. Also, a large area for private events. The pizza was great. Service excellent.

Came out for a friends birthday and we had a ball. Was funny to watch everyone trying to figure out how to drive. The sound system was pretty horrible. The staff (ref) was funny and very helpful, (bartender) was pretty friendly as well drinks could have been more consistent. Parking was easy be sure to GPS directions, youll thank me later.

We didnt affect our overall experience.

Had a ton of fun playing a few games for a team outing. The place isnt the easiest to fine but the google location is accurate on the far west end of the building.

I had a ball. Nice staff, clean. Good time for a group of 10 or more. Really enjoyed it. Would give it 5 stars but some of the bumpers wasnt working right. But all in all great time. Use Black #20 car. Best one🤣

A lot of fun. Went for a birthday party and the food was really good! They took great care of everyone and the cash bar had a good selection of spirits, enough to find something for everyone. Whirlyball is a lot of fun but more difficult than it looks. Definitely a good time!

I booked our Christmas Party here. When we first walked in the place it looks old and dirty. It was old and dirty. The couches are horrible I dont think anyone would want to sit in them. We paid for the premium bar package and all we got was we cant make that I asked if there was another package for drinks and was told No thats that top package yet we were unable to get what drinks we wanted.The bathroom had no running water!! Yet was still open for the public to use. I told the staff about it and asked that they put an out of order sign on the door and of course no one did.The carts are not wiped off at all from one party to the next. Not all the carts even worked.A few items were left at our party a camera and a three tier cake stand along with 3 Christmas plates. I called and was told they found nothing. I find that very had to believe !! Im pretty sure because of our complaining about the drinks and no running water my stuff conveniently disappeared. The food that they catered was good, other than that, it wasnt a very good experience . I would not recommend this place. Maybe the one in Clinton twp is not as nasty inside!

Lots of fun. Theres 2 courts. The ref ran the 10 minutes games very efficiently too get as many possible in our reserved time. Theres a nice line and bar area to hang out at before and after. The carts have a fairly forgiving bumper on them, better than the Ann Arbor carts. They seem a bit slower than the Ann Arbor carts though. Overall, i definitely recommend.

I was invited at the Whirlyball Novi as part of an event hosted during an Expo. For a European it was a totally new experience that I would recommend, as it was fun and a great way to socialize and spend the evening. Something different to do which would leave good memories

Went in not having any idea what this was for a company outing. Had a blast! Friendly staff. Reasonably priced drinks. Great time! Cant vouch for value as it was paid for by my company.

Great place to go in circles. Just kidding its a real challenge to steer the kart. Our department plays 24 games every year. You can imagine how it will be if 60 players compete in a team of 12.

Always have a blast when I go, but the last time I played the carts were extremely unfair. The maintenance on the carts is clearly not being done because some carts are clearly better then others. Some literally crawl while others will do laps around the course in the same time. Price is alittle high but its a good time with a large group to make it cheaper on everyone.

The experience was great and fun. However the bar was horrible, they didnt have a lot of options to choose from. i asked for 4 different things and they didnt have them. Staff was nice and I had fun so

Had a blast. Went there as a work outing and the staff was great. The ref for whirlyball made it a lot more fun by providing commentary during the entire game. Beer was provided, but if you wanted a different drink you had to go ask for one, not an issue though, theyre very quick about it.

Food was average and the equipment was not sanitized between party usage. The game itself is pretty fun and I wouldnt mind doing it again if there was a more sanitary environment. The staff was nice and accommodating and even let us use the microphone to call play by play for our group.

Off the hook! Thus place is awesome. We did a staff trip. The staff was great. They do color commentary during our matches. They have two courts. We were the only group there but I can imagine how it would be in the evenings. You can find great deals on Groupon! I would totally recommend this place.

This is a great facility! The whirley ball cars work well, and its a RIOT of a food time!! There are also arcade games and a bar inside, so theres plenty to do while youre between games. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The announcer keeping track of the game over the speakers did a great job too!I give it 4 stars because their food is pretty mediocre.

Whirlyball is a great time and lots of fun. It is pricey so check out Groupon ahead of time. Once you go and pay, they do offer good deals for your next visit. They also have some group deals that include food.Some of the cars drive better than others; the referee didnt explain anything and if he did, I wouldnt know because we couldnt hear the referee over the music; we had to pay for music with a jukebox or its otherwise quiet; the staff was slow with bringing out the beer we paid for ahead of time.Despite this issues, it was a blast and Ill likely go again at some point. Hopefully they update the facility and improve their service.

Whirlyball is a hell of a time! Its a ton of fun and easy for newcomers to pick up within a few minutes. The staff is helpful and make the games more fun with some playful heckling. Ive gone for work outings and with friends, and its fun each time.

I went here first time for office holiday party during Christmas, we had the whole place booked. The food and drinks is typical bar food and do not expect it to be mind blowing but let me take your attention to whirlyball game. The bumping cars werent exactly like I thought it would be to begin with. Theres no steering wheel to turn and you just have a stick which you use to steer the car. Since it was my first time, it took me about 2 min before I could figure how to go straight and not backwards or stuck in corner. I would suggest watching youtube videos if you want to save yourself from laugh. This is the combination of lacrosse and bumper cars. It is actually fantastic! The cars are not too fast and sometimes gets stuck on the floor, it happens rarely though. The staff is friendly and will make sure that you will have a good time. It is fun activity for both kids and adults.The only issue I have is with plastic caps on stick to turn your cars. I would prefer if were gloves with it because it leaves a mark on your hand and sometimes even cuts your skin like I did when you change direction instantly. But it never stops you from having fun.I will definitely recommend it, its worth the visit. take a large group with you.

Fun game but the equipment needs an overhaul. Cars kept getting stuck and bumpers would slide off of some cars. Some cars drove full speed without eveb touching the pedal. The rackets were pretty bent up too.

It is Whirlyball. If your playing it is fun. The spectating area is dark. The food was on par with a roller skating rink.

Whirlyball Novi was great, although I didnt play I had a ball looking and laughing at the ones thats played.

The game is fun with a group of friends or co-workers. The facility itself is drab and a bit dirty. A woman was vacuuming while we had our work party and it sounded like she was vacuuming nails from the floor. That being said, you cant expect a whirlyball facility to be very clean.

Do you like bumper cars? Basketball? Jai alai? This sport has aspects from all of them! Grab the fastest cart you can find, scoop the ball with your racket, throw it at a netted backboard to score, and avoid your opponents as they try to ram your cart to knock you off course! Oh, and theres beer!...if your into that sort of thing.

So, overall Whirlyball itself is FUN! But the service was so so. When our group had some questions about a charge on our bill, the bartender Olivia, who claimed to be the manager, was very rude. not only that, she basically called us cheap because we were questioning an over priced house salad($23). Sad to say, but because of a rude bartender who lied about being the manager, none of us will be returning!!!

We had a team event at the location in Novi. Our whole team LOVED it! We had a blast playing, we had a blast eating dinner, we had a blast after... nobody can stop talking about how much fun we all had. I would suggest taking an ibuprofin beforehand because crashes can hurt the next day!

We hosted an event at this facility and the bartender couldnt be more rude. He was rude from the second we walked in wouldnt bring out pop to the room said there wasnt enough room said I can go to the bar if I want it. Told us we had to be out of the room because they had another party right after we asked if we could go out in the main area told us we could but dumped out all of the pitchers of beer that we bought mind you we bought the beer and wine package! They kicked us out of the room and the Other room was available for them to put the people the came in after us. Everything we asked him to do it seemed like an inconvenience to him. I would never host another event at this facility the customer service is the worst I have ever seen.

We had our wedding reception at the Novi Whirlyball location this past weekend (4/23/17). Thats right...WEDDING reception. We wanted everyone to have fun and the staff delivered! Carrie (the main manager) was 100% on board the from day one and excited to help plan the first ever wedding at their venue. She made herself available through email as well as in person for planning and even a tasting. We had a chicken/beef taco bar which again was spectacular and all of our guests loved it because it was just, Steak or Chicken like the typical wedding. Doug (the other manager) was hilarious and on top of everything keeping all the food and beverages full!I would choose this venue over and over again. The food, the whirlyball, the staff, the FUN...much love and appreciation goes out to everyone who works there and helped make our day possible.

Our PeeWee hockey team had a great time here for our year end party. The kids and adults had a lot of fun. Courtney was very helpful during reservation set up (and she was a great referee!) and she suggested food options that worked for our budget. This is a bit costly so we were only able to do one hour on the court with food but it was worth it!! The taco dip was great and we had the fiesta trays of taquitos/mini tacos so it was frozen food that they fried up for us and that was just average. They have a lot of food options and having a bar there was great for adults who wanted a beer or two :) We will definitely come back here!

The staff is nothing to write home about. They are nice but didnt amaze me. Also the place and equipment in general is a dump. Everything had deferred maintenance in one way or another. Bathroom sink was not installed correctly. Little things like that tell you they dont care about the details so bring hand sanitizer. One of the bumper cars (number 11 in court 1) had a hole. These cars must have yo fault insurance. Also its overpriced without a coupon. You had to pay $1 per song in the lounge room and the speakers in the court sucked. Like really sucked. The pizza was great.The good is that the game is really fun, theres a bar, and none of the problems really affected my time. I just dont want yall to be disappointed.

Great environment and great food

Let me start by saying that whirlyball is a great time, Ive gone several times and everyone Ive been with always has fun, young to old, athletic or not, everyone loves playing. When I went to this location, we had a good time, my only complaint was that the staff was asking for tips constantly. They have a balcony area overlooking the court, where they have a member of their staff provide commentary of the gameplay. I suppose, given the right personality, it could be funny and well received, but our commentator was more annoying than anything, and then he kept begging for tips. Ive been happier going to the whirlyball location in Shelby Township. The rates are the same, the cars seem to be operate better for the most part, and the balcony area, which offers a better view of the action, is open to the extra patrons of your party, instead of some hack announcer who insists you pay him extra for his time.

Whirlyball is usually pretty fun but this place sucks!! Extremely rude staff!!! The lady behind the bar was rude and kept hinting how everyone tips them so we can tip. We now book elsewhere and couldnt be happier!!! Owner needs new management and staff bottom line
