My experience with Safe Harbor has been a nightmare. I contracted with Safe Harbor in late August 2012. There was no communication, calls were not returned and the office phone was rarely answered. Here it is Nov 2012 and all the work has yet to be completed. To make matters worse the sub contractor that worked on my home has not been paid. I doubt that I will see the work on my home finished. My recommendation is do not use this company. Since I can not get anyone to return my calls I doubt that the company is still in business.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with!! they where recommended by Farm Bureau Insurance and they were paid in full, but did not pay the sub contractor Seal tite. Seal Tite has put a lien on my house and I can not get any communication with the two companys. there is a total of 8 homes in my area that have liens on their homes because of this mess Safe Harbor has created. BE AWARE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!......YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!.....Safe Harbor uses the following names:Safe Harbor Buildings INC, Safe Harbor Professional restoration contracting LLC, Safe Harbor remodeling LLC, Safe Harbor Restoration .INC, Safe Harbor Restoration LLC, Brooklyn Homes.Owners of the companies are: Craig Kallen, Bob Whittaker.
Nightmare company. Used faulty drying equipment causing mold. Then they declared bankruptcy so I could not collect damages. They had horrible insurance with a $20,000 deductible and they could not afford the deductable. Disaster to work with.
