I choose Compo for a remodeled master bath and bedroom of my former home 10 years ago and it came out beautiful. So when it came to remodeling my current house I choose Compo again. The second time was a much larger project which included remodeling the master bathroom, bedroom, closets, building an awesome loft overlooking the great room, installing a beautiful new stair case, taking out the old fireplace on the east side wall and building a grand new fireplace on the southern wall, remodeling the lower level bar and recreation rooms and more. With a project of this magnitude there was an extensive and vast array of design, engineering and the coordination of materials required for success. Compo was there every step of the way making sure I didn’t make a mistake!In the end I was so appreciative to have had Chris Compo there to help create my dream of a very special place that is “home”. A place that I love very time I step inside, every day, every season. I will always be grateful for the very distinctive quality oriented work that Compo performed.

Compo Builders were contracted to transform our basement into a fully functioning apartment. David and Chris were excellent in offering several alternative designs and suggestions to create unique apartment creation. They were very attentive to our needs / wants and offered many suggestions. After approving the final design, David and Chris were excellent in 1) explaining the various construction steps, 2) selection of various building materials and kitchen / bathroom accents, and 3) keeping us informed about the completion timetable. Their unique level of professionalism, experience / building know-how and attention to details truly made our transformation project a wonderful, interactive experience....an experience worth repeating, if the opportunity presents itself again.

Love this builder! We had our basement transformed into an incredible space by this family-owned and family-oriented company. Every step of the way, our input was heard and integrated into a carefully designed 2000 square foot lower level! All our wishes were met with the creative planning and execution of Compo Builders. We now have a large family area including space for a billiards and ping-pong table, sitting area with a state of the art fireplace and custom-built saltwater aquarium, full kitchen and bar, a craft room, gym, bedroom and bathroom. There is truly no limit to the possibilities with Compo Builders! This was one of the best things we have ever done! With five children, this space is used and enjoyed every day!

We had a Mother-in-laws suite (with yard tool storage room, and deck with wheelchair access) built at the end of 2013 completed early `14. Although we had a plan somewhat designed, Compo was great at working out details we hadnt considered or were needed for the build. This included things such as the best HVAC for the addition and materials to build the deck from considering the topography.They did a great job managing and completing the project from start to finish. Although no construction project ever goes without issues (especially remodels), they were very responsive with correcting the few glitches that did arise.My wife and Mother-in-law were very comfortable with everyone working for, and contracted by, Compo during the project. All were very professional and courteous.

My wife Alicia and I were interested in building a new home on property that we had purchased. We wanted a prairie style ranch home and from the first meeting, we knew Compo Builders was going to make our dreams a reality. After reviewing a plan that we had and seeing some concerns meeting our budget, the Compo Team was able to take our ideas and specifications and design the perfect home for us and meet our budget goals. I can’t speak highly enough of Compo Builders. After many years and multiple homes, we were finally ready to undertake a major renovation. We were nervous because we had heard so many horror stories about other people having awful experiences with their builder. Now when I hear other people’s horror stories about their projects I just say “Compo didn’t do that.” Pricing was fair and transparent. We received invoices on a regular basis and literally every item was there. I can tell you how much the screws cost. My wife went over the invoices with a fine-tooth comb and only found one small error during the entire project.They use only the best subcontractors. They were all people I was comfortable having in my house. The quality of the work was always top rate. Chris Compo is an artist. If you can explain what you want Chris can design it. He suggested so many changes, large and small, that we had not even thought about but that added so much to the final results. All I can say is, that if Chris suggests it just trust him! When people you do not know stop their car in front of your house to tell you how much they like what you have done you know you picked the right builder.

I bought my home from Compos 26 years ago. We love the home and the area. We have raised our family here and are still loving it after all of this time. Over the years I have relied on Compos to carryout any major work that needed to be completed. We have just had them carryout a major remodeling project on the inside and outside, kitchen, bathrooms, and windows. These are good people who do great work at a fair price. He raised a very outstanding son, who learned from being around the best father with great knowledge. As a boy he started by picking up nails, cutting lumber even hauling away trash.
