I called quite a few companies for our broken a/c(in 90 degree heat) and Sam was the only one able to come out. I liked that he had incredible reviews and once he was out, I understood why. He was within the time he said he would be, he was quick and efficient and got my a/c back on quickly. I felt the price was very reasonable and I will certainly be calling him again(although I hope not anytime soon!)

On the morning after a big snowstorm and a cold night with no heat coming from one of our furnaces (5-7 inches, 10-14 degrees outside!), I called High Comfort at 9am and they were kindly able to get me scheduled for a service call between 3-5pm later in the day. I initially found High Comfort based on their excellent Google reviews. They were upfront about their applicable service call pricing.At about 2pm, I received a call from Sam and he politely asked if he could arrive early. I said, ‘yes’! Sam arrived about 15 minutes later with a Covid-19 mask covering and shoe coverings (a GREAT sign!).During the visit, Sam kept me updated, shared insights and courteously answered all my questions (including preventive maintenance, air purifiers, media filter sizing, etc.). He was extremely thorough, professional and relentlessly focused on getting our Bryant furnace back up and running. Surprisingly, there was an issue with both of our furnaces (something of which I had an inkling about after seeing an error code blinking before he arrived [yet still blew out heat?!]). Over the course of a few hours, Sam worked diligently to diagnose and resolve issues for both furnaces (e.g., clearing out drain line mold/sentiment; adjusting gas pressure, high/low switch, getting the part, etc.) so they would start delivering heat consistently without shutting off. He did it! We had a much warmer night on the upper-level and no blinking error code on the main-level furnace! The pricing was extremely fair; I was willing to spend more given all of his work! I even offered and he declined!High Comfort is now my go-to, trusted service provider for HVAC needs and I’ll definitely be calling them for yearly check-ups. When our AC died during a recent heat wave, Sam was the only one I contacted who was able to come out the same day. He suggested a quick fix to get it up and running again, but due to the age of the unit, we decided to go ahead and order a new replacement unit as well. There was never any pressure sales techniques, and Sam even offered to refund the cost of the repairs to keep us going until the new unit arrived. In a world of businesses that are unresponsive, dishonest, and downright incompetent, Sam was a shining example of how to perform top-notch customer service. He kept us updated, was prompt, courteous, helpful and professional throughout and did a great repair and then installation job. I couldnt recommend him enough!

Sam did a phenomenal job! He literally installed an entire new Bryant HVAC system. The old HVAC had been here since the house was built in 1976. He installed new ducting, repaired old ducting that was loose, installed a de-humidifier, installed a new PVC line from my water heater to the humidifier. Installed a new line to the A/C unit outside. I couldnt be anymore pleased. Would definitely refer him and the company. I even had Amistee, Novi come to clean the ducts and that was highly beneficial as well. Great work!

My AC broke during a heat wave (as they usually do...) and it needed new blower wheel and motor. Another company told me they needed 2-3 days to acquire the parts. I contacted Sam from High Comfort around the end of the day and he got the parts next morning and installed them same day, even though he had a full schedule. Afterwards there was a slight issue with the wiring of the thermostat with the new parts, but Sam was very responsive and came back to fix the issue (took a couple of minutes). Ill definitely be using their services again!

High Comfort helped us when our old HVAC stoped working. They were completely professional and gave a correct estimate. Once the installation was started they completed it in a quick manner. They also helped me replace my old thermostat with a smart nest thermostat. Sam did a phenomenal job! We originally called him out to replace a fan gone bad in the HVAC system. He was quick to point out that we would be better off replacing the unit (30 years old). The price he quoted us was very fair! He was very non pressuring as well, which we appreciated. Of course, we always had the option to do the minor repair, however, it wasnt guaranteed to fix the problem long term. We booked his services for HVAC replacement, and a week later, he and his assistant were able to get the job done in one day. I was amazed that he was able to identify that we needed a much smaller system than the house already had, thus saving us money now and later. The staff on the installation day were very professional and courteous.Our house is much more comfortable and we could feel a difference in the heating system right away. Much quieter, and it is able to hear the ouse more efficiently. Would highly recommend them! I really appreciate the honesty and transparency of the business.

Sam did a wonderful job repairing my short cycling issue with my Trane XR unit. Sam quickly determined the source of the issue. There was a block of ice around my furnace coil unit. He thawed this out, and determined that the dampers needed replacing and was causing a blockage of airflow to my ducts. The issue was repaired and was done well. My AC broke right before I left for a week of vacation, so I didnt address it and just went out of town. As we were driving back in the stifling heat on a Saturday around noon, I remembered that my AC was broken and was dreading coming home to a blazing hot house in my second floor condo. I typed heating and cooling service into my phone and called the first few places that came up - they either didnt answer or werent available until Monday. Upon calling High Comfort, they said they could head over that afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30, only a few hours later on a Saturday! They sent a technician out and he replaced some weird part on my AC unit, cleaned it out with a hose, and got out of my hair in 30 minutes. By the time the evening rolled around, my house was cool and I was relaxing. It was an absolutely awesome experience!

Let me start by saying I seldom post reviews but for HC, I have to make an exception. Few weeks ago, my A/C went out and as usual it was pretty hot that day. I googled near by H&C and came across High Comfort and within 45 min of a phone call; Sam the owner was at my house. Since I live in the area; he gave me really good discounts. I can honestly say that his service was top notch and its nice to see a service personnel that takes the time to check everything and fix it right the first time. I have hired others; and theyre in-and-out within 15min for the next job they have lined up and with outrageous costs.All in all, Sam spent roughly two hours at my house including cleaning up the A/C unit and cost was decent. This was my first time contacting HC for service but now I know who to contact if any appliances goes bad in my house.. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work guys and the word of mouth goes further.
