Went to this location recently with some items. The owner needs to check his moral compass when dealing with customers! He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Offered 40 percent of what items were worth, stating everyone offers 40 percent. This is not accurate! Went to Mill Valley and got 80 percent. Went in seeking honesty and received the contrary!! Beware of this business, I question their intentions and business practices. Read other reviews and this is not the first time!

They have always taken care of me and done me right and are up front and honest with me about what I have. I come from a county away and will wait until I have a chance to make it down to Novato before I will deal with anyone else.

Alex is super nice. I brought my son in just to look around and Alex treated him like a long time customer. He brought out several neat things from the back of the store and spent a lot of time talking to him. At no point were we given the impression that we were wasting his time. I had $20 gold pieces, which my grandma had given me before she passed away. They had been sitting my cabinet for years, and I finally decided to sell them. I went around and got a bunch of offers, but they offered me the best price. They were also very kind and courteous unlike some other sleazy coin dealers I encountered.

Alex helped me determine which of my coins from travels long ago were worth more than their face value, and which were just curiosities I could give to the grand-kids to sort and play with. He gave me cash on the spot, and was friendly and professional.
