Set up an online appointment and went in. Customer service was knowledgeable and friendly. Waiting room was small and full so had to wait outside (super hot day). Took about an hour for 4 new tires. All was good except the greasy fingerprints all over my car after. Other than having to clean up a bunch of those I was happy.

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had any town fair or fire stone location. My girlfriend and I are expecting any time in the next few days, and my scatter brain locked my keys in the truck. The team at town fair took me in one of their vehicles down the road to the store so I could purchase materials to break in to my own truck because we all know how waiting for AAA goes. Once I unlocked my truck after messing around a while, they still got me in in a timely manner, even though I threw their scheduling off with the hour delay I caused. They finished my vehicle in less time than what they told me it would take, And had me back on the road in a very timely manner.Chris and the team at town fair really came through for me and I truly appreciate it.

Good. Staff was good, very polite. Got 4 Falkens. It took almost six hours for some reason when I dropped it off at nine. The install is solid. Looks like they bead sealer and they changed the valve stems and gave me back my aftermarket ones. They said aftermarket valve stem caps can get stuck because theyre metal. That was very courteous of the staff to let me know. Overall very pleased and satisfied. Thank you.

I was a long way from home. Getting ready to get on the highway and BOOM! My right tire blew out! THANK GOD Town Fair Tire was close. Excellent service. Knowledgeable and pleasant employees. I bought 2 new front tires and was on my way. Thank you for your keeping with the traditions of retail in reference to being friendly, accommodating and knowing the product when unfortunately these logical traits are being put on the back burner these days. 5 stars all around.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I had an appointment for new tires to be installed. I dropped my vehicle off and once they were done with installing them, the car began to shake and vibrate. I took it back later that day for them to fix the issue and they said nothing was wrong. The car was still shaking and vibrating. I then went to a trusted mechanic and they said that the tires were not properly balanced and that a ton of weight was being pushed to one side of the vehicle. I would not recommend going to Town Fair for tires. I now had to pay twice and go to two different places to get my tires properly installed. Go anywhere else to get tires installed.

I showed up at town fair tire without an appointment, they told me it would be 2 to 3 hours. I had time for 3 hours so I said it was okay. 4 hours later I asked when it would be done in 30 minutes because my car would be taken in next. I stood across from the garage watching other cars get taken in instead of mine. While standing there I watched four people standing around while kids ran around the bays next to dangerous equipment, that was the most appalling part. After I had been there for 5 hours and my car still hadnt been taken in, I asked for a refund. Them being with me wanting a refund was not the worst part. Them didnt bring my car around so I had to go to the garage because my car had been next to it the whole time, and when I got there it smelled heavily of marijuana. I guess I know what they were doing standing around all that time. I am extremely dissatisfied. Will never go there again.

Went here to search for a pair of after market wheels a while ago. Didnt end up purchasing but the products they offered seemed of good quality. Service was friendly and quick. Not a bad place at all but was just a bit too pricy for me. May vary based on what youre seeking. Overall would recommend if you need something quick.

My car runs so smoothly with my 4 new tires... Im very happy

A few months ago I had replaced all four tires with the factory brand and type. They had to order the tires so I made an appointment the following week. When I arrived for my appointment the new tires were there and they had them replaced in about an hour and a half. Very friendly and accommodating. After driving for a few weeks the air pressure indicator came on. After checking, one tire was about 6 lbs low. This happened a few times so I went back and they found a slow leak around the sensor. They fixed it for no charge. They also fixed a couple of punctures for no charge in the past. Good place to do business.

They did a fine job with good tires in good time. I would definitely come back here. Subtracted one star because employees wear their masks under their noses.

I tried my very best to avoid going here recently. I had a tire I needed to get replaced and I prefer small local businesses over these larger chains. I like the service in smaller owner operator places and usually the prices are better. Long story short, I tried every local shop and they were either closed or couldnt get me in. Finally with no choice left I headed to Town Fair Tire. I was surprised at how far they got me in and taken care of. They were polite fast and cheap. Now when I say cheap, I mean like real cheap. So cheap I gave him a tip that was more than what I was charged. They definitely changed my mind, and I will definitely be back when I need tires or an alignment done. As a side note, I checked on the prices of an alignment and also super cheap. Definitely heading back! Highly recommend!

Haven’t been to this particular location in a couple years because of issues but it seems that the new management has turned this place around. Service was excellent, everything that I expressed about my vehicle, they checked and followed through, and they got me in and out in a very timely fashion. I know sometimes it’s tough when it comes to wait times in the automotive business, but these guys were very accurate with the expected wait time. Will spread the word.

Made an appointment at for 8 AM at the Norwich CT location. With in minutes my car was being worked on. Everyone treated me like a king. Was out 45 minutes ahead of time. Would not go anywhere else. Thanks guys.

It took them 10 hours to do a simple tire replacement and an alignment. My appointment was when it opened and as I am writing this I am still waiting for my car. The only reason why Im giving them 2 stars is because Ive good experiences in the past and I genuinely believe there was a hiccup.

I made an appointment with their Tire Expert over the phone. When I got there (on time) I was told I would have upto a 90 min wait or more to have 1 tire put on a rim that was off the car, because 1 or 2 appointments were ahead of me. The employee said each appointment could take upto 90mins and couldnt tell me what my wait time would be. Why even have an appointment? I wanted to buy 1 tire from them and have them put it on the rim, simple.I didnt use their services and I walked out, as an unhappy first time customer.Their Tire Expert was very nice, though.

FORGOT to get my tires shipped to them after confirmation email Their quick, no thought solution...just have him come back another day all after I arranged a ride and time off from work. I set up an appt with GY in same town and had unfortunately a similar problem. Their solution, had 4 men checking computers offered me alternatives and end result got my tires done that day. I would pay extra for the latter professionalism but it was cheaper for a better tire anyway. An apology goes a long way folks.

I had an appointment here to have four new tires installed. The car was taken in an hour and fifteen minutes after the scheduled time. One week later I had to return as a lower tire pressure light was on... They made me wait two hours to fix their error.. The light is on again within four days.Wonder how long I will have to sit next time while they fix their mistakes. . Norwich town fair is not a place you want to for service. I have pruchased tires for all my vehicles for over twenty years there. NOT AGAIN. Just came back from Town Fair.. The manager took the car in immeadately and resolved the issue

Terrible place, my 92 yr old grandfather bought a tire back in June they told them he had road hazard etc... It went flat last month and then told him he didn’t have it and needed to buy a new tire. The traveled maybe 10 miles home from when it went flat and it says on the tire it’s “road hazard tire”. You can ride up to 200 miles on this tire if it was flat they only road about 10. Tried making them buy a new tire and would replace it. Awful place and try to take advantage of people. Unacceptable business practices.

Needed two tires and new valve stem sensor was told if I made an appt I wouldn’t wait as long so I made an appt people who came in after me got out before me for tire services I waited for 2 hours and 40 mins and then when I got home my tire pressure light started flashing and wouldn’t go off so called town fair tire and the guy that answered asked what I wanted to do about it. Well obviously I wanted it to be fixed since the problem didn’t arise till they replaced the sensor. So I made another appointment. The people here are rude. No customer service skills what so ever. Private conversations in front of customers. Walk in get out faster then customers with appts. I’m being told to check my tire pressure sensor with an appt it will take 5 hours are you kidding me.

Took my car in to get a nail removed and maybe plunged they said they couldnt do it because the nail was in the shoulder of the tire I took it to tire Warehouse place in Groton and they said the total opposite they removed the nail and didnt even need to plunge the tire Town Fair tire tried to get me to buy a new tire for $122 when I didnt even need a tire I have a lot of money to Town Fair tire and I never will again

To replace these tires was over my budget and I only needed good tires to get back and forth to work. Marcus, walked me through options to solve the issue. Fair tire is a huge tire store that has run mom and pop tire places out. Not that Mom ever changed a tire. Its the box store of tire places so big deal they still dont have the tires you want when you want them.

Town Fair Tire in Norwich. They are very unprofessional. Have you be more specific. Make an appointment with my car I was there on time and there was no one to align it after 5 so why did you make me an appointment.

I would give no stars if it was possible. This store made my son wait 3 hours (even with an appointment) to fix a slow leak in a brand new tire that he had just bought a few weeks prior. They took off the wrong tire and fixed the problem stating that it was due to him driving in the winter and that the salt had caused the tire not to seal..... (brand new tires, car not driven in winter) a week later the original tire that was bad lost 10 lbs of air again so I took it back to have them fix the correct one and they wouldnt get the car right in, they were going to make me wait again for something that THEY did wrong. I will never let anyone I know go to this store to be treated like this. I work in healthcare and my free time is limited right now, I am disgusted in their customer service, this is not how you treat people.

Went to Town Fair Tire on 8/6/20 for new tires on my car. My husband called several times beforehand to check on their safety protocols, and was told that the staff would be wearing masks and gloves AND that my husband could drive the car into the bay. The guy behind the front desk opted to use a face mask as a chin strap, with both the nose and mouth hanging out, and talking to us through the gap in the plexiglass. How is that safe exactly? Well, AFTER we paid almost $800 for the tires, the guy behind the desk informed us that it is against company policy to let the customer drive the car into the bay. We had been explicitly lied to on the multiple occasions that my husband had called and specifically asked about this. The behavior we witnessed did not give us great confidence in keeping us safe during Covid. We demanded a refund immediately as I will not allow these unprofessional guys into my car during a pandemic. Will never go back to this establishment - lies and neglect of public safety regulations does not portray a reliable business.

Very good tires and great prices. As a veteran, I am able to realize an even greater price break through a Navy Exchange arrangement with the business. A little SNAFU caused me to be in the waiting room much longer than needed. My name never appeared on their monitor and they failed to notify me in the waiting room that my car was done. They knew I was in the waiting room because they had to fetch me to locate the key for the locked lug nuts. Have been a customer for years but this was my first experience in Norwich.

I had a great experience there. I needed tires that day and they guy hooked me right up showed me all my options not just told me which was a nice change. Tires were a little over my budget and he was able to find me a 15$ discount on all my tires which was needed. The place was packed and it still took less than two hours to put four new tires on and the alignment. Definitely will be coming back.

How this place is still in service is beyond me. went there to get wheels changed and new tires waited 3 and a half hours (made an appointment) to be told they couldnt get the wheel covers off my wheels, yet in the morning I was able to get them all off in a matter of 10 minutes ? this place is absolutely horrible go to the one in danielson or anywhere else but the one in norwich

I would not recommend going to townfair tire in Norwich ct I went in and told them I need for tires for my car and the tech at the desk said let look at the car I said. I dont need to look at it I need four tires he insisted we look at it so out we go. Look at the tires he asked watch the car miles was I told him it was about 160000 he told me to get the mile on the car now. That was it I told him he can keep his tire you trust loose a sale and left.

I’ve never post review online, but this one I feel I have to. made a appointment at 2pm, take the day off and called half hour early to confirm appointment. But being told that they don’t have the appointment for me, put me on hold indefinitely, finally they said the appointment is for next day, they don’t have the tire, they said the call center made the appointment for me, told me to call the call center. So I called the call center, they keep telling me to call the store without Letting me finish what I need to say, and they hung up on me. Called the store again, they said i either take the appointment next day or go to a different location, and they made it sound like it’s my fault that the appointment is for next day and not today. They hung up on me, called again ask for manager, suddenly they have the tire in the back now, but I’m late for my 2pm appointment, and they are busy, I will have to wait when everyone else who had appointment finished. None of them apologize for making the wrong appointment for me, and all the representatives are rude!! I don’t know if they have the best price or not, but they definitely have The Worst!! service. AVOID at any cost !!!!!!!

Only go if you have all day to wait. Got both my truck and car tires here, and each time I’ve had to wait much longer than originally told. My truck tires were ordered even with an appointment I ended up waiting over 4 hours. The tires for my car however were supposed to be in stock but after I paid for them and waited 2 hours I was informed they don’t have them here and it would be longer for them to get from their warehouse. Plus they say they have lowest prices but they add another couple hundred dollars in miscellaneous fees. Completely dissatisfied with both experiences.

Brandon and two fellow employees helped me out and made sure I didnt leave frustrated and without a tire. after finding out the tire for my car that I needed was not in stock, they helped me out by allowing me to use a stock tire that they had to get through the weekend, so that I could return today and swap out the tires. Place is not visible from the main drag. I was able to find it when I had a leaky tire that I bought from them about 2.5 years ago. They found a nail in the tire and they repaired it........for free. Excellent.

Brandon, who helped out my daughter and me with her tire purchase, was an outstanding sales associate. He readily smiled, answered questions, and explained things (like how pro-rating works) to my daughter. Retail is a service-oriented industry (Ive worked my share of it), and weve all experienced rude, bored individuals behind the counter. Town Fair Tire fixed (another) flat for me this morning, free of charge. I was in and out in less than an hour, despite the shop being extremely busy. I have been a customer for years, and will be back soon for (another) set of new tires for a family vehicle. Their staff are always professional, friendly and courteous, and I have gotten excellent results from each set of tires I have purchased. I have found their prices to be competitive and fair, especially when matched with the great service. I can say with all honesty that I trust their advice, and their workmanship.

Tires were ordered 2 days ago. I had a 10AM appointment. My car did not go into the bay until 11:45. My car was finished just before 1PM. No one called or texted me, I had to ask if my car was finished. I got no Im sorry - when I asked I was told there were other appointments ahead of me. 3 hours. Good prices but be ready to wait. Why get an appointment? The last time I had an appointment I was told when I checked in they didnt have time for me that day!!!
