This is a great waste transfer station. One of the best Ive ever been to. The staff is helpful and friendly. They do a great job! I also enjoy watching them operate the compacter

They tell you where everything goes and is very well laid out.

It was pretty fast no weight or charge for a/c or refrigerators oil is just leave it and they dump it for you

My husband would like to leave this comment: I have been using the disposal station for four years. It was always been messy; stuff was lying around and there were all kinds of staff. Since the recent take over by the City of Norwich, it has become clean, nothing is left lying around, the hoppers are empty and the price is still reasonable. It is a fantastic place to do business. Thank you for your service.

Great free dump day!

As a resident for too long ( 24 yrs), the dump under new management has improved, its a bit more organized, cleaner and the staff are very helpful.Yes, it would be nice if the hours were ...well ...more. I do miss the help yourself wood chip mulch pile - was great for landscaping!That being said, I wish that, like many dumps in small towns, that there was some sort of recycle shed so that people could donate items, ranging from books to toilets, and thus cut down on waste and help those that could use such items.

These guys are the best. Ive lived I. Many states and have used transfer stations 2 or 3 times a year and Ive used these guys twice now. They are the nicest and professional guys around. If I new there names Id call them out on how great a helpful they are. To the guy that was chipping ice in the weight station fridge. Thank you very much for helping me out. To the guy unloading the personal vechicals. Nicest and respectful. If the world was full of both of you. It would be a wonderful world.

The hours are not conducive to the working population of Norwich. Im sure its nice for the people who work there to have such cushy hours while the rest of us who pay through the nose in taxes cant even use the resources we pay for. Change the hours.

There was nobody in the front scale/office when I arrived, so I did have to go find someone. The man that helped was very helpful, instructed me where to go, and also informed me of the upcoming free collection day. Overall an easy pleasant experience.

Scales are off be prepared to pay alot to dump bulk and make sure you get there by 2:30 even though they close at 3 they will shut the gates early seen them turn 3 trucks away at 2:49 and now they turn away brush from contractors but when you live in Norwich where do you dump?

Absolutely the rudest man Ive ever met. My husband and I are from the south and came up here due to the navy. Dumps where Im from you just drive up and get rid of your stuff. There were no signs noting to stop on the scale or what needed to be done. Instead the man came up to my truck treated me like a criminal asking for my license and registration telling his partner not to let us throw anything away. He checked everyones military ID as if that mattered. Absolutely unnecessarily rude when he could have just came up and told us we needed to go back and weigh the trucks before dumping out goods. Could not believe how he talked to me. I will drive 50 miles to another dump before going to this one ever again.
