My boys started their karate journey at Black Dragon Martial Arts 4yrs ago. My oldest was 6 when he began and his little brother, then 2, was eager to start his classes which began 2 years later at the age of 4. Black dragons provides a safe, competitive, motivating, confidence building and most of all a fun environment for many kiddos. This is not just a typical karate studio, but a karate family. We were welcomed in by fellow students, parents and instructors all of which have encouraged and continue to encourage and root for our kids to be the best part of themselves. Those involved in the dojo are helping us raise more confident children who will grow to be better adults. I would highly recommend the dojo to anyone who is looking for a extended family or support system to be a part of. My boys are excited to continue their path and achieve their black belts!

We have been apart of the Black Dragon Family for 6 years now. The training is outstanding. They are very professional and knowledgeable with the needs of the kids and adults that train here. Their main focus is their students. My son started at Black Dragons when he was 6 years old. He is now 12. He just achieved his black belt. This is the dedication you will find at this school.Highly recommend this school.

My children and I have been a part of Black Dragon Martial Arts Academy for about 4 years. The instructors are fantastic and work with children and adults with all levels of abilities. Being a part of the studio has been a fantastic experience and continues to have a very positive influence on our lives. All the programs for both adults and children are high quality and professionally run with knowledgeable instructors. I am very disappointed that they remained open during most of the pandemic, showing the utmost disrespect for policy and safety of other children. More shocked that so many parents allowed their children to continue the classes. They are definitely not spaced apart nor wearing masks when they are at the facility. Respect for others safety, discipline to follow rules, sacrifice to wait till we are in a better place is not being taught here.

My daughter and I have been a part of Black Dragon since 2011. It is by far the one of the best experiencs in our lives! I started out taking Kick Fit Bootcamp twice a week for a year, then last year I decided to try karate and discovered that I love it! Now I take karate twice a week and bootcamp once a week. Bootcamp helped me to lose 45 lbs and keep it off for two years! Karate has helped my daughter to become more confident in herself and the things she does.
