A Joanne answer the phone today rude and completely unprofessional. I hope the management reaches out to Joanne regarding her professionalism. This is not the first time shes rude over the telephone and short with her tone of voice.

We switched to Dr. Heil as a family about a year ago. It was the best decision! The entire staff is courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Dr. Heil has an amazing bedside manner and it’s clear his staff enjoys working with him. Also the hygienist Rose is phenomenal. I highly recommend this practice and am so thankful we switched to them.

I recently switched from a different dentist to Norwich Smiles for my 6 year old who was traumatized from a previous dentist and wow what a difference!!!! The office staff were friendly, ease of transferring and paperwork was simple and the office calls to check if you need help with the paperwork or have any questions. My child was so at ease and calm during a cleaning and sealants!!! Definitely recommend this dentistry to my friends and family!!!

I have been attending this office for about 15 years and I cannot overstate how great it is. Dr. Petropoulos is my primary dentist. He is such a kind and gentle man, and a wonderful dentist, I am always at ease in the chair. My hygienist, Rose, has become a friend, she is so sweet and funny, I love seeing her. The office staff are all wonderful, very accommodating, knowledgeable, and understanding. If you are looking for a dentist where you will actually enjoy your visit and feel good about your dental care, this is the office for you.

Just wanted to share I had a lovely experience there. Regarding covid policies I think some medical facilities miss the mark and end up making you feel like a nuisance, but norwich smiles covid policies and cleaning made me feel like its for me, not because of me. My hygienist Christie was dedicated to doing a thorough cleaning even with a sense of busyness in the halls and waiting room she wasnt going to cut my appointment short. Dr Petropailos was friendly, and went through all of my concerns without trying to upsell me on procedures I dont need. Honestly the best experience you could ask for at a dentist.

Today was the second appointment of my first week with this dentist, the first being a regular cleaning and today I received a small filling. I must say that everything was very quick and painless with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Although it isnt exactly important, the doctor was pretty comedic and really relieved the tension haha. I would highly recommend this practice to anybody in the area looking for a new dentist.

The staff is pretty friendly but I’m skeptical of their practices. I came in to determine the cause of my tooth pain from a filling from a previous dentist and they told me nothing was wrong with the area in question. I can’t chew on that side and they told me everything is fine and I shouldn’t have to worry about it. Not sure if I’ll be back, I also called to cancel an appointment and they placed me on a hold for six minutes before hanging up on me. Wasn’t too happy with that.

After a run in with a few awful dentists the past few years, I was very skeptical of a new office! I had the absolute BEST experience! My hygienist Brittany was GREAT! Dr. Heil was just as great! Follow up appointments are scheduled very quickly and the front office was very accommodating! I am so lucky to have found this office after 3 years of searching for a great dentist!

Dr. Heil and his staff are Amazing!! Went in today for a tooth to be looked at and they were very helpful. It such a peaceful and small place. I think that is better than the big dental businesses. Oh and can I say the pictures of the staff hanging around the office are awesome! That lets you know the staff works well together.

I love the entire staff and I appreciate that they understand how afraid I am at the dentist. They always make me feel welcome and I never have a long wait if I need to schedule a problem visit. They play really nice music in the exam rooms and I love when my dental assistant sings along to all the songs. I have total confidence in the work they do and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

I took my four year old daughter in for a toothache. I was told she had two cavities, and Dr. Heil recommend silver fluoride. I asked for the teeth to be filled, but he was adamantly against it, even though she would let him do it. I was never told the silver fluoride would not be covered, and will have to pay out of pocket for that. When I discussed this with the office receptionist, she told me my daughter had the cavities at her cleaning three months prior. This was never discussed with me. I switched back to our pediatric dentist since we are in network again, and took her in for the same tooth pain. We were told the cavity was too large for silver fluoride in the first place, and by putting it on the cavity it trapped the bacteria in the tooth which continued to decay. Now because Dr. Heil decided to put “a band aid” on a tooth instead of fixing it, my daughter will have to go through oral surgery and lose both of those teeth.

Incredibly knowledgeable, warm, professional and accommodating staff. They treat you with respect, take the time to explain thoroughly the situation and provide you with all the alternatives. I always feel very welcome. I also have a 5 and a 3 year old and always need to have my camera on the phone ready because a trip to the dentist has become a fun activity :)

I began going to this dentist I believe about three years ago. I love the employees at Norwich Smiles Family Dentistry. Dr. Heil has always made me laugh and makes me feel at ease. I see Dr H! He is so great! Over the past four years he has catered to broken teeth, root canals, and all types of other dental issues I had. He was very professional and showed great care and attention to detail while working on my dental problems. Carrie, who works the front, is AWESOME. I have the worst time with my schedule for school and work and she goes above and beyond to work with me. Not to mention all the great HYGIENISTS in this office!!! Great place!

I’ve been going to Norwich Smiles for years. Karrie, the front desk coordinator, is amazing. Brie does fast, fun, and easy X-rays. Laurie does a very thorough cleaning and is very informative. Dr. Heil makes going to the dentist entertaining and less stressed. For those who don’t look forward to going to the dentist, I highly suggest trying Norwich Smiles!

I love this place! The receptionist are friendly. I have three kids and they all go here. Theres two dentists and they are quick thorough and really nice. The dental hygienists are also super friendly. I was going to UCFs in Norwich and boy I wish I would have looked for this office a whole lot sooner. They are AMAZING! They accept state insurance for children 18 and under. I wish they would accept state insurance for grown-ups though. I highly recommend this place.

I have been coming here since I was a child. I love this office. They are always so kind to me. I had a root canal yesterday and the doctor could tell I was scared but he did so well! I didn’t feel any pain and was even humming while he was working. I love everyone here!

Crooks!!! I tried to change the date of my appt the day after Christmas (got a reminder on the day of) and was told I had to pay $50 before I could even reschedule! I guess my pregnancy brain got to me but with everything going on on Christmas Day you think they’d be a little sympathetic. All they want is your money- do not go here!!! Receptionist was very rude about the whole thing.

I have been with this practice for over 17 years! I have always been valued, respected and treated kindly by the entire staff. They are a wonderful and caring practice and theyre excellent at dental care and all of the aspects that are involved in dental care; gums, bones, tongue, teeth, nerves....they take care of the entire oral cavity!

Dr. Petropolous is by far the most caring and compassionate dentist weve ever had. He just wants you to be completely comfortable! My husband has had EXTENSIVE work done with almost 0 pain . Dr. Heil, office staff, and hygienists are also fantastic .

I was treated very rudely by the office manager who called me about a past due balance saying all of my future appointments for me and my small children were already deleted. No real attempts to reach me by mail were made except for a bill in the mail that I had recently received. I called back and paid the bill but was asked to repeat to her all of the appointments made for me and my three small kids. I was disgusted at the fact I was told all of my appointments were already deleted?!!! Never going back there again.

I always hated going to the dentist... it was just never a pleasant thing until now. I unfortunately have had to get fillings and there was literally no pain! The doctors are so caring and take the time to get to know you. Dr. Petropoulos is my favorite! He is so nice and always make sure everything is perfect.

If only i can give NO star to this new people who acquired Dr. Doyles practice!! been seeing them 3 yrs and yet they miss a cavity that they didnt wanna deal with and they are already referring me to a specialist! and not sure whats the use of the x-rays theyve been taking,..,and they called me to say that a filling needs to be redone,..,i went and thats one of the greatest regret in my life,..,they just disabled how i eat.,,.every time i chew the tooth theyve worked on is so sensitive that i cant even eat soft foods!! not sure whats the best description.,.,INCOMPETENCE or UNCONSCIENTIOUS!!
