2 pleasant guys in a big red truck came on time for a quote. I showed the around them around the house at various things I wanted junked and they said I had enough for a full truckload. I was dubious everything would fit - old TVs, leather sitting seats, giant display cabinets, hot tub cover, entire office furniture and on. The price for a truckload was half of what I had been quoted by another junker. They said they could start loading immediately. With amazing speed they collected and broke down things. They were careful maneuvering past walls and doors and overhead lamps. They fitted everything like a jigsaw puzzle. There was even lots of space for other old things to throw in the truck. I was so delighted I gave them a big tip. This was such a smooth process for something I dreaded would be horribly expensive and messy.

This is the second time I have used Junk King. Very reasonably priced and excellent customer service from the first inquiry phone call to the removal crew. Everything was fantastic!. Doing a renovation and there was a lot of junk in the garage and they offered to help move stuff back but that was the painters that were doing that. So that was very nice of them to offer. Much cheaper I usually use 1 800 got junk. Both Chicago and here. Overall fantastic and easy. nice guys

They showed up late and on top of that they took my tarps even though I told them I ran a landscaping company and needed those tarps. Called them and they had absolutely no solutions. Ill never be using them again. Tried to charge me $80 and when I said no theyhad to try and ask how much was reasonable.

Friendly, professional guys. Removed the junk efficiently and took nearly everything I wanted. They dont take hazardous waste, and I had some old cans of paint I need to get rid of, but nobody takes those, so I cant fault them for that. Also they couldnt get my treadmill out of the basement because they didnt have the right tools to take it apart and all my tools are at my new house already. I called in the morning to get an estimate to remove a large armoire from the second floor. The person who I talked to was super nice and helped me out right away. It was huge - over six feet tall and 8 feet long. It is now 2:30pm on the same day and it is already gone!! They gave me a very reasonable estimate and they were ready to get rid of it. It was so big they actually needed to take it apart piece by piece. They were super professional, efficient, on time, and cleaned everything up. I give junk king my highest recommendation.

I scheduled the appointment online which was easy and I was able to make an appointment for the next day so I didnt have to wait long for it to be removed. The item was a treadmill which weighed close to 250 lbs. Two young courteous dudes arrived on time and carefully removed it from my basement and out the door paying attention to avoid the walls, stair bannister, and door. The cost was very reasonable. First time using Junk King, it was recommended from my family member who used the service and very happy with the service. I had to get my upright piano removed. The lady who answered the phone was super nice, she had the patience of a saint, we exchanged multiple texts, I sent pictures through the text and was able to get price estimates and it was about 1/3 less than what other places quoted me. I was able to get someone come out next day morning. The guys were very nice, moved really quickly. They were wearing masks and gloves. The job was done so quick, it was just pure awesome. AMAZING! I called Thursday and the guys were able to pick up my furniture the following day. I was given a 2 hour window between 9 and 11 am and would be called 20 minutes before they arrive. They called at 8:45 am and arrived 20 minutes later. The guys had the sofa and chair loaded and on their way in less than 10 minutes! Making the appointment was very easy and painless. From the gentleman that I booked the pickup with to the two gentlemen that picked up the furniture, it was a great experience! Everyone was friendly and very professional. Fantastic company! I called the Northbrook office and they were very nice, were able to provide a quick pick up date and a reasonable quote. I previously called a company that I wont name but advertises a lot, and they sent out a team that tried to up-charge me over $100. I sent them away and called Junk King. The team showed up at the exact time they said, were courteous, very professional, and because I only had two items and made them very easy to move they took $40 off the quoted amount. I absolutely recommend Junk King and will use them again in the future.

Highly recommend! They were on time, fast, courteous, and quickly able to troubleshoot to find the best way to remove a big appliance without damage to our home. Our old fridge narrowly fit through the doorframe, but would’ve scraped against the door itself. Instead of squeezing through and risking damage to the door, they took the time to remove the fridge in pieces, which we really appreciated. Well worth the price we paid too.
