Best Gym I have ever been a member of. Glad to be back for good. (First was a Black Card Member going back to the late 90s in NYC) Glad I now can go to Planet Fitness anywhere I travel, instead of always checking if the hotel I stay at has a gym onsite. Thank You!

I dont think its safe to be wearing a mask while doing cardio. Our body releases toxins through sweat, the masks we wear get soaked in sweat and then we breath in those toxins through a sweat soaked mask. Im trying to follow your rules but I come home after working out with sore lungs and coughing up phlegm.

The manager of this place was very rude to me. He really made me feel so bad that it affected my work out, I could not concentrate and had to cut it short and get out of there. The manager is using his authority to bully members never in my life have I experience this kind of treatment before. I even went to make an complain to another worker who claimed there is nothing she can do because he is the manager. I’ve been going to PF for years and have never had anyone treat me in such a awful manner. Highly disappointed. Worst experience of my life.

Seems really unsafe to be using cardio equipment with a mask on but its mandatory here. I just want to workout so I can be healthy and at less risk of getting sick during a pandemic.

I returned after a year. Theyve done a good job of crating some boundaries. What was most evident and repulsive is in the 1.5 hours i was there not one man cleaned a machine he was using after he finished. The women did. Just gross. So I had to clean machines before and after use. Pigs

Place is a joke gym. They lure you in with the low cost. Its very judgemental

The food was great just wish that they had different onion rings their onion rings are very thin remind me of fried onions that go on top of green bean casserole maybe they can come out with thick and thin onion rings that would be amazing

The staff is not enforcing the mask policy. I was scolded, because I took my sweatshirt off on hung it on the railing on the machine I was still actively using. Yet I was able to observe several people with masks around their neck, not being scolded. I also observed multiple people not cleaning their machines either. 3 staff members leaning on the desk, not cleaning machines either. The next day my daughter was harassed and accused of lying about what school she attended, because there is an out break at UMASS and those students are not allowed. The gentleman in question that is doing this is a large man with dark hair and a beard. I guess its time to cancel my membership and go elsewhere. No need for this kind of harassment.

On 11/7/19 sometime between around 10:30 pm - 11:30 pm I entered the womans locker room of your King St Northampton, MA location to shower and change after my workout. I turned on the shower water and went across the hall to disrobe in the changing stall. When I exited the stall to enter the shower one of your male employees walked right by me and into a utility room located right next to the showers! I quickly retreated back into the stall, locked the door, and hid for several minutes in nothing but my towel! There was no sign outside the locker room regarding a male being in the locker room. He did not call out to announce himself and I dont possibly see how he didnt hear the shower water running!! When it seemed hed finally left I entered the shower. While I was showering that employee again entered the locker room unannounced and entered that utility room!! I reached out to Planet fitness twice on 11/12/19 regarding this matter and asking for an explanation of your companies polices regarding my right to privacy in the locker room. In both of the communications I said was considering canceling my and my husbands memberships over the incident as I have never been made to feel more uncomfortable and degraded in a place that I paid a membership for! Since then I have not gotten a proper response from planet fitness despite reaching out on 3 different platforms. To add further insult to injury it seems I can only cancel our memberships by going into the Northampton, MA (which I have no intention of further adding to my humiliation by doing so) or pay money to send the club a request to cancel via certified mail. The indignity of my treatment by planet fitness since 11/7/19 has been beyond unacceptable and something no person should have to endure! I still await your response as I have been for several hours when I was told a rep would contact me.I spoke to Matthew the Manager of Northampton Planet Fitness. Matthew doesnt seem to understand that a male employee walking into the womans locker repeatedly while women are showering is more of an issue than discussing with employees when is an isnt an appropriate time to clean. My dignity and right to privacy aside this is a SAFETY issue. That employees actions where disturbing to say the least as it demonstrates their actions were deliberate and that this employees has a total lack of social boundaries which puts the safety of myself and every other woman in that locker room at risk. If Matthew truly had wanted to restore my confidence in my safety at Planet Fitness that employee would have been immediately fired as it would have set a clear example of how serious this matter is! Since no real steps have been taken to properly address this situation I told Matthew I wanted all my membership fees back that have incurred since the 11/7/19 incident for my membership, my husbands, and my sons. None of us have set foot in any Planet Fitness since this incident and based on Planet Fitnesss response never intend to again. I also told him that I refused to have to send certified mail cancellation or set foot in any planet Fitness to cancel as the dissolution of our relationships is Planet Fitnesss doing. As of this writing we are still being charged for all 3 memberships and I hereby demand that Planet Fitness cease and desist all charges associated with our memberships and reimburse all charges on all 3 memberships since 11/7/19 incident. Please be aware I have spoken to council on this matter and will file a complaint with the better business bureau regarding this matter if necessary. I have been more than patient with Planet Fitness regarding this matter which has led to my not bringing this matter to the attention of the general public. I strongly feel my patience with Planet Fitness resulting in my silence has only endangered the safety of other women using your facilities hence this review. This issue is not resolved, they started charging us again in July which has been reported to our banks fraud & billing dispute department.

Always clean and never to crowded.

This one is nice ! Has better treadmills then hadleys. The locker space is tough right now even more then other planet fitness. It was clean, has all the right covid-19 regulations in place for safe social fitnessing.

Everytime I come there are people running on the treadmill with masks around their necks. Its not that freaking hard to run with a mask on. Get it together.

Overnight staff is great, and the place is clean. However, thats about it. Recently, some of the staff has changed over and after a rude employee had an issue with me, I received a call from the GM today telling me he was cancelling my membership due to old payments at a different location, from 3+ years ago. I have had my membership for awhile, and transferred to this location over 3 months ago.I had just suggested some family members join, and luckily they got the no commitment because they were already concerned that none of the staff is ever on the floor. I am usually there at 4am but this past week I was there Thurs-Sat during the afternoon and witnessed the managers and at least 4 staff members hanging out behind the desk, several times and not engaging with members. As a previous worker at a CORPORATE owned Planet Fitness, I know that policy is to be out on the floor cleaning, stocking paper towels, or just being available to the members. I told my family to stick it out, maybe go at a different time, but now I understand their concerns. Before the negative interactions I had already planned to no longer visit the North Hampton locations. Now, I definitely will not be returning.I travel to Planet Fitness all over the country and NEVER have I had staff be as rude as this location. The fact that the GM didnt even talk to me to get my side, or even seem concerned about his staff being rude, but rather punished me for his staffs poor behavior blows my mind. Acknowledging the fact that I had just had a negative interaction in his location should have been the FIRST thing he did, rather than just telling me his name and that he was cancelling my membership. I have already transferred my membership back to a corporate account, and will be addressing these unpaid dues with a different branch so that I can sever ties with this franchise.

Joined 1 week ago. Nice helpful staff and yes it is clean but it should be its brand spanking new. Tonight was the first time I showered there. The shower stall it self was relatively clean, except for the extremely dirty nasty moldy shower curtain. Someone needs to spray that thing with a bleach solution or something, or better yet replace it!! 🤢As much as I dont like leaving sweaty and smelly I think in the future Ill shower at home.Update..... I checked out the shower curtains 3 days after my review and I’m happy to report they were all spotlessly clean. I’m not sure if my initial review had anything to do with this but I thank the staff for taking care of the issue.

Pretty decent gym, only one issue thus far and that was from some Karen having an issue with my water jug. was told i could no longer bring it in the gym, no worries, my intimidating water jug only accompanies me now to my other gym i also use. like the large number of machines available and my wife enjoys the many cardio machines. unfortunately, with the gym being closed since March we have added many more weights and equipment to our home gym and if the dictator governor requires masks to be worn once the gyms can reopen we will no longer be members here as doing cardio and weight training with a mask is detrimental to your health as well as uncomfortable and we will remain training at home if this is the case.

The place is clean as is should be.... This is a new location. My over all experience is low. The staff is not enforcing proper dress code and rules with the weights. I know i hate to complain but seriously.... Basic rules no string tanks, sports bras.. See through leggings 🤦🤷 that deff is super distracting... Basic rules lol

The location is pretty convenient for me and my wife, plus its near a supermarket, so that can be helpful. The two negatives I have is that the water is awful from the fountain; thats most likely a Northampton WD issue and Im not too keen on the layout. Granted, I am used to the layout in Greenfield, but its still a little off for me and a couple of pieces of equipment just arent as comfortable as the ones in Greenfield. They feel a little awkward to me. The staff so far has been kind and courteous, unlike the crew in Hadley

The BEST Planet Fitness! Clean, large, lots of machines, friendly staff! The manager here used to manage the Belchertown Planet Fitness where I used to go. I stopped in the Belchertown PF because I was in the area and it was AWFUL!! VERY unfriendly staff, dirty, hot, machines needed some work. Its definitely the manager because when he managed the Btown PF it was like it is in Northampton. I wish I knew his name so I could give him the credit he deserves!!

Sparkling clean. Plenty if machines. Friendly staff.

This location is fantastic! The PF where I used to live had a weirdly late opening time (10am) and no bike machines. This has all the great machines the other locations have plus 2 different style bike machines. Really comfortable and in addition to the overhead fan, each machine has a fan you can control, and a USB port. I watch Netflix on my iPad while biking or walking. Also the shower water is actually warm!

I have a question about my bill because I was overcharged, so I call 6x and no one answers...?
