I had a significant amount of water in my basement yesterday and today. I called SERVPRO and they promptly got back to me and told me someone would be out within the hour. Nicole was very prompt and very helpful in assessing the damage to our basement. She was very knowledgeable and had a good recommendation for a remedy. Definitely recommend this company!

The techs that came to my house were very professional and quite nice. They explained everything to me that they were going to do, we’re very quick and cleaned up after themselves!! First visit was 2 techs named Anthony and Jim. Second visit was Jeremy and Makayla. All 4 were so nice and professional. I would highly recommend them!!!

Nicole Albaugh was very knowledgeable and helpful in discussing our flooded gameroom carpet. We haven’t decided yet how to handle the situation, but we appreciated Nicole’s advice and will call upon this company if the need arises again.

I am currently the Fire Chief of a Volunteer Fire and EMS department in Monroeville. We recently had a few members contract COVID-19. We reached out to SERVEPRO of Metro Pittsburgh East and they came the next day to properly decontaminate our entire 3 floor fire station and all our Emergency Vehicles. They were quick, had great costumer service, and were truly lifesavers. I would highly recommend using these guys, I know we will in the future.

I sustained major damage to my hardwood floors and one wall. I had a slow leak from my upstairs toilet which soaked though a wall and into the carpet. They came out within a few hours of me finding it. The 2 guys who came found more damage that i’d missed and Helped me report it to my insurance. They left lots of equipment to dry everything out and get rid of the smell. They pulled up carpet and tile and removed parts of the wall all within a few hours. They hauled everything away and picked up the fans the following Monday. They were very professional and nice. They were knowledgeable and helped me through a very stressful situation!

In todays society, it seems good customer service is becoming a thing of the past. Well, that wasnt the case this time, and ServPro was a breath of fresh air especially after dealing with a horrible experience with another company prior to their service. Holly, Jermaine, and Debbie were called to clean up a horrible drain backup we had throughout our basement. They had a lot of areas to cover and copious amounts of items accumulated over the years. They were prompt and communicated everything they were doing from the beginning until the end. Im sure everyone realizes at times like these how did we collect so many things, and why is that even down there? Not once did I hear them complain, judge us, or make us feel uncomfortable. Holly and Jermaine were probably two of the funniest and most sociable people I have encountered in a while and it was nice having them around actually! I only talked to Debbie for a short while but she was a sweetie! All of them were respectful, knowledgeable, polite, and they had a rare quality today ... common courtesy. We own a business ourselves and treat others how we wish to be treated. With these three, we received the same superior customer service! That means more than you know! Thank you!!

I had a terrible experience! I had a rental property at the beginning of the COVID-19 Crisis have backed up plumbing in an unfinished small basement. They charged me $950 to clean up less then 300 sqft. I wanted to make sure my tenants were taken care of because they were stuck in the home. I had trouble getting a hold of my insurance company and said if need be I would just pay out of pocket. They came cleaned then left. All good. I eventually got a hold of my insurance company and started a claim. After about 12 calls back and forth where Servpro took my credit card 5 times and then sent me an email saying the card was declined. I looked into it, they used the wrong address they billed the rental not my home address. They did not answer calls into their office because of the crisis and then multiple emails exchanged I was threatened with lawyers taking action if I did not pay personally. My insurance company assured me that they could take care of the claim. But after more threats I payed personally. I won’t say that I didn’t have miscommunications or missed calls.. but during this time to have companies act this way seems disgusting. I will never use this service again.

Id like to recognize the efforts of a SERVPRO employee, Peter Akey. A local employer has an employee who is currently homeless. She reached out to him for assistance. That employee was a 21 year old single female who had had to resort to sleeping in her vehicle. He created a post on one of his social media accounts seeking advice and input from others.Numerous people responded to that post suggesting how to get this woman connected with social services organizations who could assist. Others personally volunteered to assist and provide her with food, clothing, and temporary housing.This may not be the kind of disaster that SERVPRO normally responds to. But for this woman, she found herself in a position that was truly disasterous.The efforts of your employee and those he associates and networks with had a very positive impact on a member of the commumity, who just needed someone willing to help.

Please use caution and documentation when working with them. I was overcharged and they would not credit me back. Instead, they offered a free house carpet cleaning...well, they finally did it (almost a year after it was promised and with frequent nagging) and it was a very poor job. They basically wet the carpet and left. Stains were not removed (there were only 3 small ones). I will be hiring a professional company to do their job. Very disappointing. Their home air purification was fine, but there seemed to be disconnect with the company staff, people were coming in and doing the same things others did, or undoing things that were just done.Update* how do you have “no record of business?” Do bill statements count? Because you sure had no issues finding the record of business when you issued the bill.

My family suffered a fire December 12, 2017. ServPro Easts emergency response was EXCELLENT!!! They boarded up our windows within hours and someone was onsite taking pictures. My initial contacts were Leo, Dan and Debbie. They were all friendly, courteous, professional and sympathetic to our familys loss - an aspect most important to me. As we met with Debbie and her daughter to sort through our belongings, Debbie was especially sensitive to sentimental belongs, especially those of our son. She and her daughter handled everything with care, which we appreciate. Based on this positive experience, we chose ServPro East as our contractor for restoration and their like it never happened motto is TRUE! We have not smelled one stitch of smoke!!!! Leo was very friendly and helpful as we designed our renovations. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because once we signed the contract in February 2018, demo did not happen until May and then our property sat untouched for 2 months. I wrote a letter of complaint and ServPro was very responsive thereafter. Perrys work is BEAUTIFUL!! He and Chad literally rebuilt our home. Perry communicated through the process and even went the extra mile to drive to Johnstown to get the kitchen cabinets I wanted. Some items were delayed due to orders not being placed at the time I submitted my choices, but it all came together well eventually. I did go over the completed work with a fine-toothed comb and Perry corrected everything on the list. As the job neared completion, Michael called to introduce himself and ensure everything was being taken care of and on schedule. ServPro made concessions for their delays and my family and I moved back home on September 29, 2018. I wholeheartedly recommend ServPro of Monroeville for emergency and contracting services. I just suggest staying on top of renovations to make sure everything is progressing in a timely manner. We are very thankful to them for restoring our home and commend them for a job well done!

I run a banquet hall in Monroeville, PA. ServPro does our monthly floor maintenance and takes care of our carpets. Their prices are reasonable and they do an amazing job.

I would never do business with this place again. They took care of my mold issue but they made a mess and didnt clean up. They also charged me for things that they didnt do.
