Went out on the lake with Capt mark yesterday for walleye and wow what an experience. I was blown away at how organized he is he has a system and it works to a tee. He did not hesitate to teach and pass on knowledge and skills I learned alot from him. Within 4 hours on the lake we had a 2 man walleye max and they were monsters 6 to 8lbs. Mark is for sure a seasoned veteran. He is a good guy humble intelligent and makes the trip fun as far as the fish cleaning he makes it look ridiculously easy but he taught me how to fillet walleye for maximum meat take home awesome experience

I booked an all-day fishing trip for my friends bday, setting it up was an easy process. The captain is extremely knowledgeable about everything you could ask him about fishing and boating. Even though the waves were choppy (he did tell us it was going to be), we ended up catching seven big fish to keep. I would recommend this experience to everyone from veteran fishermen to people who have never picked up a rod and reel.

Mark took my husband and friends out today for A fishing charter. They had a wonderful time. They have not stopped talking about their day. Mark has a lot of information about the lake and how to catch each different type of fish.

First of all, the captain is a really nice guy that is good to talk too. It was a very good experience for me and a couple of my friends on this charter. The captain taught us a lot of things about how to catch walleyes and it was really helpful. We were able to catch our limit without any problems thanks to the experience of the captain. I will definitely come back and I would suggest you to check him out!

8/10/2018 - Captain Mark took my dad and I on a full day Charter fishing for Walleye. I own a charter company in FL so I notice everything. First, professionalism is top notch. He makes you feel comfortable and is dedicated to your safety. Second, his mechanical engineering background is apparent with his system of catching fish. He’s a real thinker and gives it 150% to make sure you get what you’re after. He outsmarts the fish. We had a strong wind that made conditions a little choppy, but Capt Mark headed with a following sea and not only did we stay completely dry, we caught our limit and headed back to the dock very happy customers. He cleaned all our fish and well deserved a generous tip. My dad said it was the best fishing trip he’s ever been on. Third, Capt Mark is funny. The type of guy you want to go fishing with. Ive fished two seasons with Captain Mark. Six charters to date and booked, cut my teeth trolling the finger lakes fifty years ago, fished most of the east coast and some out west. I count Mark Lorenc among the best of the best men I ever met. Makes no difference if its your first time out or youre an old salt yourself, Marks the guy you want to fish with. Mark had the 3 of us limited out before noon with 18 tasty walleye. Very informative about fishing and the area.. Looking forward to next years trip. Great family fun.

Went out last weekend and had a great time. The water was rough and the waves were big but Capt. Lorenc handled it with ease. Despite some tougher conditions we still caught some good sized fish and had fun fighting the walleye. I would definitely recommend fishing with Capt. Mark is a great guy, my daughter and I had a lot of fun fishing with him today. The weather was absolutely gorgeous light breeze with just a few 1 foot waves. Ive done a lot of fishing on my own and with guides when Im in a new area . I have visited the Chautauqua area a lot and always wanted to fish Lake Erie. Mark did everything right. We only caught five fish, to perch and three walleye, one was a little under 6 pounds. The other two were little 14 inch fish..Marked worked hard the entire time trying to get us in the more fish. And seemed more upset that I was that we were catching very many. When you hire a guide all you want to do is do his best and its up to the fish to bite sometimes you cant make them bite. We were on fish all day according to the depth. When looking for a guide I always recommend you look for two things.One the guy that knows his lake and knows where the fish are. And two one that is enjoyable to be around. I fished with guys that I wouldnt go buy a beer with ... marks the type of guy that you enjoy hanging out with all day even if you dont catch fish.Thanks for the fun day mark

Mark was a great host and we had an absolute blast. 15 walleye on the day and he knew exactly what to do and when to do it. If you are looking to charter on Lake Erie, Mark is the guy to do it with. I would definitely charter with Mark again in the future.

We had an excellent day with plenty of action. Capt. Lorenc is very knowledgeable and experienced; his custom worm harnesses really did the trick for the walleye!

I booked another trip with Capt. Lorenc this year, after having such a great trip last summer. We started out fishing for walleye, and after we caught our limit, we headed in to fish for smallmouth. We found several smallies over 5lbs. What a great day! Capt. Lorenc knows where the fish are, and exactly what they are biting on. Already looking forward to next year!

Went fishing in dunkirk today had an amazing time. Mark is extremely informative on anything you ask about fishing or fish. Recommend him for your trip. Showed us how to fillet the fish and knew everything you want to know about lake erie
