Im very compelled to write about the great service in the store. The office Manager Steve, really has improved the service here and is keeping everything together nicely. The store is clean, the employees are working and overall very satisfying experience. Yes, you have to wait your turn for things like in all places but every person gets their individual attention and needs taken care of. Also, would like to compliment Leidy’s customer service, 5 ⭐️
After a abad experiencia at office Depot at biscayne blvd, I went to Office Depot Max, and Leidy,name of the girl who took care of me there was so friendly helpful and professional, made me forgot the other place, services and prices here, are incredible,highly recommended.
If I can give this place zero stars I would I don’t ever write reviews but the manager Steven was disgustingly rude so he needs to get it together if you’re a manager you have to be respectful and know how to treat customers .
Located at the 123rd Street shopping plaza off Biscayne Boulevard. Here you can find, all your office needs. And equipment. Service is high-level. Customer care is very helpful. Employees greet you with a smile. Store is very clean. You can also order private personal business cards. They are quick and will call you, when they are ready. You can order in black and white, or in colors, and also with designs. Low pricing. I believe the boxes come with 500 business cards in it. You can order more than that.
Customer service is really bad with this supervisor, every time i come to this location on Biscayne is a problem. He doesnt care about the Customer even the line is long hes stands there not helping the sales advisor thats working with him. Langston is lazy and he rather told us he is busy with his manager while watching him walking around with his pan down. Super amazing staff! Randy and Deanna helped me out of a jam when i needed to print immediately and they werent open for another hour. Called the store, explained situation to Randy and they let me in and assisted me printing the documents i needed. Big time help, fantastic service and customer care. Outstanding people! Highly recommend.
FedEx is just two blocks away....this place is just unbelievable, between the rudeness of the lady on the print department, the lack of competence, and their total disregard for common sense, this people are just gonna ruin your day, be aware, I just spend one whole hour And fifteen minutes waiting and had to go without my prints cause apparently I’m not of the good liking of Danny, the manager. Ridiculous. First review I ever post on my life, go figure.

Dont walk, run from this place, everyone here is rude and in a bad mood from the mgrs to the attendants, nowadays we have gone thru so much, when we go to a store, we want to buy and expand our minds, these employees have no concept of customer service! And customer service is what keeps bringing customers back, so sad management doesnt teach this important lesson to their employees.Fed Ex is right down the street and they do know know how to treat you, you are in and out with a smile.The way the world is now, we should spend our money where they treat us right, if not we should be going where they do! 😊
CHANGES!! over the last couple of months... a light-skinned Jamaican Manager making this place look top-notch. Floor managers now great customers saying hello. Its starting to look like a business and inviting...
I wanted to print out postcards there, the staff was really helpful, she gave me the option to sign in to whatever i like to download the pictures for the postcards. Im a photographer, so the pictures a very high quality, which i cannot say about the result of the postcards. The printing quality was so bad, even a child would say that it doesnt look good. The cutting quality (she printed it in A4 and cut out later) was also miserable, it looks like the cutter was blunt. Later I also tried to use one of their printers to print out bus tickets, but was quickly disappointed by the slow performance. At least the whole staff there was really kind and helpful.
I went to this store yesterday to use one their computers to print something like Ive done many times. First the lady there made me wait in line even though there was a free terminal that I could have used. She insisted that she needed to check me in first (new procedure according to her). Then she tells me that it will cost me $2.50 as they now have a new minimum charge for printing. For clarity, all I needed to print was an Ebay shipping label. In other words, it was 1 sheet of regular paper in black and white and they wanted to charge me $2.50. Thats an outrageous amount for 1 sheet of paper and I left after that. I will never use their printing services again.
This is the worse customer service that client can have.Employees dont know nothing and when you ask something they looking at you if you are bother them.Cashiers not experience at all, dont ask because they call someone else for help.I decided to go to Best Buy to purchase because was not good service.Please office- max get better employees.
I ordered a special laminate with my daughter drawings :the guy meassured everything and charged me different because of the size. I paid for it and the guy told me to give it 2 hours to be ready. I came back 3 hours later to pick it up and it was not ready and the guy had a long line of customers waiting. So he called somebody else to hep him and she did it wrong!!! The drawings were 2 per page in different directions instead of being the six of them in the same laminate so at the end I paid more and did not get what I asked for. Really bad.

Door Buster how about door closer. I saw a add for a Notebook computer for $349 that great deal so I want to the store, first the display was not working then when I went to go buy it they said they dont have in stock so I asked for them to check any other store and they said no one has any stock yet, how can they advertise a door buster good from Sunday to Tues and they dont have stock of the item and will not get any tell after the sale is over. This is false advertisement so if they state attorney general is reading this please take a look into this.
I went there looking for a m.v2 ssd drive for a laptop. They did not have one--suchs cause they right there where Im living closed by, yet I had to go somewhere else. Overall, the staff was nice and helpful.

We waited three hours for our computer to be assessed, and three days to get it fixed. Once we got it back we were elated to see that the viruses even our expertise couldnt get rid off was gone. Eventually we realized that if we downloaded anything it would be erased whenever we turned it off. But there was no deep freeze. So we caved in and moved our files to a USB drive and just reinstalled the os. I will never bring my computer back and warn everyone to only buy office supplies and not come in for support. We even tried to have them correct their mistake but they said it was fine. Its a shame I wasted my time and money on them.
Every time I walk in here it is a 40- 60 minute wait just to print a couple of papers. You guys need more staff, and staff that know how to multitask and treat customers politely.
I always find this store quite surprisingly a very comforting place to shop. From the attendant to the cashiers, it shows a level of professionalism and courtesy you dont always encounter in Miami.
Mix experience but mostly negative. Sometimes they have no cashiers and you have to pay in the print/copy section and it will take for ever, Walgreens in the corner will be faster, not to mention the unhappy workers attitude, now I order online..RIP OfficeMax and their lazy service.

Vey bad customer service. I bought a desk and a cabinet there. Trying to schedule an appointment to have my furniture built was almost impossible. Called over the phone and they put me on hold for ever. Never got a furniture rep on the phone. Went in person and explained what I needed. Was there waiting for a long time. They ignored me for a while. They don’t care about customers:(
Its 15 minutes to close and I am in an extreme rush to get business cards for a presentation in the morning. It was nothing but one thing after another until I got here. Sam, Cedric went above and beyond the duty to make sure I didnt leave empty handed. They were not only able to get me a set of business cards but despite the difficulties with their machines they made magic happen. This kind of customer service deserves more than the usual commendation. These small tokens of assistance to the customer is what makes long standing relationships with business owners and the like.

Those new print & go printers are horrible. Had to use 3 different ones. They kept freezing. And you can only print one copy at a time.. and I had 22 pages! Took me almost 45mins.
Not a single printer in the self-service area works and the employee that tends to that area is not competent for the job. It takes her 20mims to take care of each customer and she has no idea on how to fix the self-service equipment

Horrible service, asked for a manager since I had waited for a while to get some service. The rep said, he is over there. I asked can you call him over, I am the customer. To say the least, manager never showed up. They had 1 kid working and multi tasking with different customers and not taking people accordingly, no personality whatsoever ever.Poorly ran, will contact corporate.

This afternoon I came in to buy an office chair that was on sale (from 169.99 to 99.99). I took the ticket from the display model (there were several) and asked an employee to get it for me. He asked immediately if I was planing to buy the protection plan they offered (which seemed weird) and I declined. The guy disappeared for 10 min and came back telling me they were out of stock. Due to the suspicious question, I did not believe him and went to look for myself on the boxes located high on the shelfs (you need an employee to get them for you). Surprise, they had the chairs. I confronted the guy, and he told me that that was not the same model I was asking for (what, am I stupid? I can read models!) and tried to dismiss me. I asked the price of that one in the shelf, the guy rudely answered that that was not on sale like the one I wanted (NOT WHAT I ASKED). As I was getting angry already, I decided to leave before I would create an scandal. This guy obviously did not bother to sell me the chair because I did not want their protection plan and that cuts into his commission. Well, Ill get it online where I dont have to deal with rude salesmen. To be fair, 6 months ago another employee sold me an office chair and he was extremely nice. I wish I remembered his name to exclude him from this review, and I certainly hope he is working somewhere better now. Today was not the first time I have encountered rude employees at this store (hence this review, I hope somebody at Office Max takes action). And these guys complain that the online retailers are going to bankrupt them, go figure...

The people working here cant be any slower. You will speed at least half an hour at any given time if you came to simply print or copy something. Avoid at all costs if possible.

If I could give zero stars, I would. There are 4 people running around. 2 on the register (doing nothing because the store is not even busy, No one is buying anything). Only 2 people working at the printing station when they know this is the busiest place for printing and everything else. 8 people in line and 2 girls working. No one is cross trained to come help them. Manager is no where to be found or he simply doesn’t care. I have been standing here for 20 mins in line waiting to print something. It’s radiculous how they have no help and no one cares!
At the copy center, I waited over an hour. I was being helped but the staff that was helping me, left me 3xs to help another customer. And no they were not short staffed. I was not too happy about that.
Its always a nightmare to check out in this store! There are never enough cashiers and, often, they seem confused. I have dropped my stuff on the counter on several occasions and left. Go to Staples around 30 th Street. Its so much more pleasant.

I bought a laser printer. It works fine and although I didnt get the service plan my confidence in HP products is very high so Im expecting it to last for a long time.

Waited in check out for ten minutes-one check out open -fifteen people in line -management walked around and spoke to no one. No attempt was made to help other than walk around and look disintrested. I left a 300.00 purchase and walked out with several other people. This was on 1-11-2013. Girl at check was nice and tried to process a printed rebate and was not being helped by another girl manager who looked like she hated her job, As I left the check out girl was still confused and was not at all supported by her managers.I will not be back to this store

Ive come to this office max several times and it amazes me how slow it is every single time and how the staff never know where anything is. Im writing this review as I wait in a line that moves as slowly as the lines at the DMV. Unless its urgent, buy whatever you need online.

I visit office max often for my work and often their customer service desk is very slow to serve guest. I just waited 15 minutes on-line waiting had to leave the store and no one asked if my needs where fulfilled, in the slow time taking care of guest should always be a priority. But, maybe they have enough customers to worry about 1.

I could not believe I was speaking to a store Manager, if you are thinking about going to this store to buy even a pen DONT. I have never felt so disrespected. And when I told Mr. Washington how I felt as a customer, he never tried to rectify his behavior he just justified it. By saying that how you preceive it. but as a Mananger I have leaned that If a customer feel you are rude or disrespectful correct the problem. By apologizing. Not telling me thats how you Perceived it, and definitely not by telling me if I be quite and if you stop talking and listen. And all this was over the phone. All because I Called due to I was given a item number and was told to call and see if other stores had the item I was looking for. Cause she (the associate) at another location told they may have it at another store. I now interrupt him by saying no Im not looking at anything. Cause I was just walk out of the store with the item number. But he responded if you would be quite and let me talk. I dont think so thats not how you speak to a customer. I told him never mind and have a great day. The store is way too under staffed for the demands of Miami. It has been this way for a very long time mostly due to budget (not management as you would assume), and will likely remain this way for a very long time. Period. You can take it out on the staff thats there if you want, but trust me when its busy each and every person there is doing 12 jobs at once with no breaks (and I stress / no breaks + very long hours is the norm!) the majority of the time (way more than the average human can manage) working over time or off the clock for very little money just to keep that dysfunctional store running, and no one is ever just standing around unless they are new and clueless (and they wouldnt last long). The service is actually excellent there when the store is not busy and overwhelmed with Miami customers (many who require personal shoppers and expect someone to stay with them on the floor especially during times when the store busy and overwhelmed) did I mention this store is very under staffed.... If this changed it would make all the difference. You could put the most talented person in the world on the floor but they cant be on the floor and help with the line and be everywhere else they need to be in all 4-5 departments at once. Thats just not humanly possible.
Customer service is lost here, they need training, the rep couldnt answer a simple question, I had to find out what I was looking through the store by myself and it was almost 3 times the price compared to the big electronic store, hope they fix this place.
