I went here on a last minute decision.... and although my stay was only 5 days for an alcohol detox, it was a great decision I made. I would recommend this center to anyone looking for assistance in their recovery. Owners and staff were great. Facility itself is well kept, clean, etc. I certainly felt that I was in an appropriate environment during a difficult time, both mentally and physically with a lot going on. I really dont have anything negative to say. Thank you guys for a positive experience!

THE place to detox!!! An excellent place to be when hard times hit! Family owned and run, with very compassionate, kind owners, that will go to any length to accommodate your needs for a safe dextox process. I am also grateful with all the staff that took so good care of me.Everyone has the same philosophy of being compassionate with their patients! Cooks are always willing to make sure that you are eating well, and their food is excellent! I very highly recommend this place without reservations!!!

At the time of calling admissions at South Beach Detox, the phone was immediately answered by a man named George. I very clearly explained my situation to George, being that I am unable to take a certain medication and I told him that I would have a terrible reaction if I would take this medication . he made sure to promise me that they have an alternative medication to substitute the one I can’t use. He went as far as to tell me he will call me right back and that he will call the doctor to verify this information.Once I got there, after driving 2 hours from West Palm Beach in a nasty rain fall, I was told that they are unlicensed to administer this medication I was promised. When the gentleman who did my intake called his superior, I heard her say that George knew full well that they can not help me.George tried getting me into the doors with hopes I would stay. I would never believe a word that man says to you. If you are looking to go to this detox, I would ask to speak with someone other than George. Your struggles do not matter to that man. He will say what ever it is he thinks you want to hear. Not once has he even apologized to me for his lies.In general the place that is supposedly so nice and has fantastic amenities, looked like a hospital ward to me. I hope this info helps someone out. I wish I never spoke to George, it would’ve saved me a lot of trouble.

South Beach Detox was a wonderful experience. I came in with no expectations yet found a warm and caring environment. The staff are well trained and empathetic. The owners are hands on, kind, and above all willing to listen and respond to any concerns you might have. If I should ever need this type of service again I would go no where but to South Beach Detox.

The staff is wonderful and caring. The owners are actively involved and accommodate all reasonable requests to make sure you enjoy your stay. During my stay myself and others asked to be able to lay outside in the sun and lounge chairs arrived the next day. The hot tub and saunas are perks too! My room was very comfortable and had a TV with Netflix and cable. Also the kitchen does its best to accommodate dietary needs and special requests. Overall, this place is amazing and I would confidently recommend it to any of my friends or loved ones.

I was here a few months ago a great place not many clients but plenty of staff so if you need something medical or anything else you get it right away. And Dr. Sanchez I knew from years ago is a great guy and very knowledgeable about substance abuse and physiology I highly recommend this place

I had an amazing experience at this treatment center,very accomodating friendly staff members the food was great too...the therapy sessions was my favorite part,Richard and Deana thank you so much for everything,I will never forget you guys 🥰🙏🏼. Oh and I became a better pool player, the activity/rec area is great,now I can actually challenge someone see how good my skills are 😁🥰 thanks to the owner whos always present, he gave me some tips😁.I appreciate everyone at SOUTH BEACH DETOX CENTER SO MUCH 🥰🙏🏼❤

Great place Im really grateful to have had the opportunity to be a guest. Rooms are very comfortable also very clean. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my personal needs as well as my health and dietary needs. The nursing staff is very caring and the BHT staff is very supportive and helpful Yasmine really sets the tone when it comes to being a great BHT. Also I was very impressed by the fact that the owners are very much involved and available. They are also making obvious improvements on a daily basis. I have never experienced such a great relationship with owners of a health facility I really feel that they care. And I have to Mention George in admissions he does his best to get people in safely and quickly when needed and also makes it a priority to come out to make sure youre settled in and introduce himself and follows up with you throughout your stay. Overall great experience this is a place I would take my loved ones if needed.THANK YOU SOUTH BEACH DETOX!!!!!

South beach detox is a fantastic place for people looking to clear their mind and body from their drug or alcohol usage. This is a very relaxing place that gives you the time and space for your recovery. George is a really great guy that is sole purpose is to make sure this is the place for you. He was very helpful working with me and my parents making sure everything was in order for me to go there. They pick you up from the airport and the techs that help you adjust make sure you have everything for your time there. Expect to not have your phone for 24 hours and bring a sweatshirt because it gets quite cold in there.The rooms there are very nice with Tempur-pedic beds, TVs and rokus with awesome showersThey have a wonderful cook that will make you anything for breakfast lunch and dinner. This place has a movie room, ping pong table, pool table, Xbox and great massage chairs. Best part is the steam room and hot tub I got to use twice a day.The owners Donna and Dr. Hurwit are some truly amazing people that truly care about your well-being and make sure you are comfortable.Daena was a wonderful counselor that works with you and your next steps.The only complaint I would have is there’s a ton of free time but that could be great for some people. I suggest trying to get more structured counseling and group but for people that just need to sleep off and detox this is perfect.They did a great job transitioning me to my next facility and brought in a representative from PIVOT to go over my next step in treatment.I would recommend this to anyone I know especially my loved ones.It is almost like a little vacation and a great start on getting your mind and body back to normal.START YOUR JOURNEY HERE. With a great mindset and a good attitude, I promise you won’t regret it.

Where do I start? This place is cold and on comfortable. There was maybe six clients and thats it. The dining room was empty, the reception area downstairs was empty, no receptionist nothing. Empty lobby you get into an elevator to the second floor and thats where the rooms are and the nursing station. Granted the rooms were that in comparison to a decent hotel room. However there was nothing to do there. It is a glorified mental unit.The biggest problem I have is my medication. I was there for one night. They ordered 53 lorazepam, and when I went to get my Xanax refilled, the pharmacy wouldnt do it because I received 53 lorazepam in North Miami. I live in Jupiter. I contacted South Beach detox and spoke with Dr Sanchez and I got nowhere. I did receive an email from someone with a release of information to be forwarded to CVS, but naturally it wasnt done. Her name was Deanna. In addition when I left the next morning after my one night there, the male nurse with the heavy accent had the nerve to call my son and tell him I drink too much coffee because my blood pressure is high. Who is he to call anyone? He might be my contact on my medical records, but that doesnt give him the right to call my son and impose his opinion after knowing me for one day. Plain English its all about the money. Im still being penalized by CVS and Walgreens, as it looks like Im Dr shopping. Thats all I have to say. Stay away

This post took me a week to write. This has been a hard situation to face. I was offered a position with this organization. I gave my two weeks notice to my previous employer only to be told that my position was given to someone else just a few days before starting!!! (Sent via text!!!!) I requested to speak to Dr. Sánchez only to never receive a call back. This showed a lack of morality. I NEVER experienced anything like. Its never ok to disrupted others lives.

My experience at this detox has been the greatest thing ever. I have been to multiple detoxes in South Florida and this one is the best, most caring, most clean, most outstanding detox ever. The techs here go above and beyond for the clients, they will do everything they can to help get any food, snacks, extra things needed in your room. they take you down in groups to smoke and its great, helps the clients meet each other. They even take us down to have groups about real life stuff, the COO is even involved in these meetings, he really helps with everything, phone calls, discharges, really anything you need you can ask him and he will have an answer. Now the medical staff is outstanding they will make sure you are so comfortable, you will not be sick you will not be in pain, you can ask them about anything and they will try to get an answer to you as soon as they can. also really cool that there is a hot tub and once the doctor approves you to go in it, it really helps your body feel better after withdrawal. honestly this facility is just all around amazing and i would highly recommend to a loved one who is suffering from addiction. Everyone is involved here, techs, nurses, owners, EVERYONE. You will never go without here and will have the best stay and they will make sure that you go to a safe place and set up a great aftercare plan. Make sure you chose South Beach!!

A family member of mine was a patient at South Beach Detox and I can’t be more thankful for their treatment and the remarkable recovery they made. This is a top-notch beautiful state of the art detox rehab facility. The staff is compassionate, very warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure your loved ones are supported with respect, dignity and kindness. The therapy and treatment received provide the necessary tools to move on with life. I don’t think that you will be able to find a more professional, caring and beautiful place for recovery.

My son had been in treatment for almost one year. He received some good and some marginal treatment along the way. South Beach Detox was a place that really did get through to my son and made a difference for him. From the doctors, to the nurses, to the techs, to the person who made breakfast for my son - something got through to him and changed things. The social worker was also extremely helpful to me. I have seen it all as far as treatment facilities go ( from NJ to Florida) and I would recommend South Beach Detox if you are looking for an experienced doctor and a compassionate facility for yourself or your loved one.

South Beach Detox has helped me and my significant other multiple times even on Christmas Eve picked us up at 1 am last year. I recommend coming here 100 percent if your looking for a smooth easy detox every staff member is amazing clean facility good food good beds and amazing nursing staff if anyone anyone ever comes to me for help will definitely recommend SBD I have been to probably 10 other places they do not compare

They released me in my time of need to be with my family in the middle of a taper... Dangerous yes but they took the correct measures for making my discharge safe. They hooked me up with a place to go as soon as I got home and dealt with life on lifes terms. The only thing I didnt like was having to ask for a drink everytime I was dead thirsty because the tiny cooler was never stocked. Food could be better too. But overall one of the better ones.

This place sounded really good they did a really good job lying to me over the phone telling me that I can have my phone and that it was different and this and that just so when I get there to find out that I can’t and it was actually all ally so I walked out I do not recommend going there it’s no different than any other place

This is a great facility for someone who is ready to live their lives without drugs and alcohol.
