Decent people here, friendly folks, showed up early and rolled the dice, they have parking, porta potty no complaints from this one.
Check in was fast and easy. Unloading was fast 1.5hr not bad for a grocery wheelhouse. Parking lot dusty dont wash your truck before coming....
I was very pleased with how I was greeted, the parking lot, its condition, and how I was treated. I wasnt an afterthought, a burden, or a pest. Everyone I met was friendly and professional. Im even impressed that the company allows overnight parking in the lot! Ive only hauled to a couple MBs before and they were ok. But this place is hands down the best! Would be happy to deliver here again!
When they give you a door, dont get your hopes up. When they finally cut your seal, dont get your hopes up. When they only take 20 minutes to unload you and your light turns green, dont get your hopes up. You still have a wait before they bring your bills and remove the glad hand lock.🤦
Always a pretty easy in & out process, and they have a decent sized gravel lot for parking if you’re short on time. No driver lounge or facilities, but otherwise an ok place. There’s a food truck that comes during the daytime business hrs, but you’ll need to bring som’n to eat and drink if you’re there during the evening or staying overnight tho.Pls read the posted signs during check-in, and don’t cut your seal once you’re given a dock door, just wait until an employee comes b/c they cut their own seals.
I agreed to a pay an they were so impressed with my work they payed me $75 more for the days pay. Thanks Martin-Brower.
Very friendly and helpful. An employee looked up addresses of nearby facilities so I could program directions into my GPS after the street they are on failed to show up. Arrived early and was immediately assigned a door. Hope its this way here all the time. Keep up the good work folks. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Used to be a great place because our company was a drop carrier, but I came in with a load and was informed that we were no longer a authorized drop carrier. They told me a dock to go to but them waited over 30 minutes for the worker to come and cut my seal.
For truck drivers, this is a very tight place to get into. I had my tandems up about as far as they could go, and I still just barely made through the barriers to get inside the lot. Backing into a door is very tight as well. I am delivering a very small load (three pallets). I arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 am appointment. They put me in a door pretty fast, but now I sitting in front of the door waiting for them to come out and cut off the seal.
Very nice setup, park in the big lot, walk through to shipping, they call you with a door, quick unload .Impressed 👍
Overnight. Fast unloading. Friendly people.
Well, receiver lady is good friendly, but it’s slow and dirty spot everywhere trashy, tight parking when checking in!
I do not understand why this company appointment.Check in 6.30 am appointment 10 am, 2:30 pm give my door. 3.30 start unloading. Nobody knows anything who knows if they are even alive .Do you want reset ELD ? WELCOME!!!!
Tight place. Nice people. Quick unloading. Open at 0600.
After they unloaded the trailer no one called to inform the driver the bills are ready.
Some employees are friendy. They truck that got unloaded just before me was able to go to dirt lot and shut down but I was told no I had to leave the property.
Only they will call you your appointment time if you are live unloading. I check in 4pm Saturday and my appointment 6am Sunday morning they call me 6am sunday very quick unloading.Over night parking available
Full truck load and was in and out and got me in before my appointment. I hope I get to deliver here again.Great job guys and gals! Keep up the good work!!!
Showed up early for my appointment and they had me offloaded before my appointment time. Great job great service and a great attitude.
Due to weather i was late and for a work in they were quick in and out unloading
Great personal at receiving
Pretty fast..
Dont come early or you will wait until your appointment time, 1 dock for receiving. 2 stars for the Nice folks though!
DRIVERS DO NOT BREAK YOUR SEAL, they will cut it for you. If you break it, they will kick you out of your dock and unload every. single. truck. that comes in before and after you before they later, at their convenience, reassign you a dock number. Initially, Stephanie at the check in desk did not communicate with me to make sure I didn’t cut the seal. Also she showed no sense of urgency towards a driver that is bringing in the company that she’s representing’s freight. When I went to get an update from the check in window an additional 2 hours later after being kicked out of the assigned dock that I also waited 2 hours to get. Stephanie tried shunning me away by answering all my questions with “we will call you” and “we have a schedule to maintain” as if me, the driver bringing in the freight, doesn’t have a schedule to maintain too. I’m a company driver from a well respected name, I’m a very cordial and respectful professional. I could tell Stephanie reflected a bitterness in her attitude after she told me that I wasn’t supposed to break the seal, and I replied that she has to communicate that with the driver during the check in process to prevent this from happening because when we’re told “ back in dock 13” to us, that means break the seal, open the doors and back into dock 13. I’ve been here since 08:00 and it is now 13:30 and I have yet to be reassigned a dock number to be unloaded. I’ve spoke with the reception and supervisor twice. The male supervisor that stated he usually works on nights but was here today, was very helpful and understanding when I interacted with him. Not sure if he has any pull about getting me in to be unloaded or not, but he was very respectful and professional. He even talked to my dispatch via phone for me to help them better understand the situation. Side note, Drivers, if nature calls on your 5-8 hour stay here at MB they have provided a Port-A-Jon just for us valued professional drivers, while I’m sure the workers here have a more formal facility to use that’s not located in a dirt lot, in a plastic box, in 90 degree temperatures here in humid North Little Rock, Arkansas. This review is to prevent other drivers from breaking their seals before MB does and also for MB to remind their receptionist Stephanie that us truck driver’s time is just as valuable as the freight we are bringing in so that she can have a job here at MB. You don’t put the driver that made a mistake that could’ve been prevented by you communicating that with the driver like your supervisor told me you’re supposed to be doing, at the end of the entire day’s schedule. We’re trying to run a business and our time is very important. So be more respectful of drivers time and remember the golden rule.@JoshuaKent please read again, it was numerously stated in the review that clear instructions were not given. Although you’re correct about there being a sign saying to not cut the seal. I would’ve stopped and read that sign up on the wall if I wasn’t checking in and trying to engage in communicate through verbal language with the receptionist. (You know that thing you do when two humans are in front of each other moving their mouth and using their ears to translate a language they both speak in order to give and receive information) Also this is a review not a forum, thanks.
Dry receiving appt 11am. In 8am, dock 830, out 11am.
Gravel lot was tight. Arrived on time at 0430, and let receptionist at receiving know that I was limited on drive time. Waited 15 minutes and informed him that I would have to leave, as I would go into violation of my logs if I waited. He was very short with me and said, “Well what are we supposed to do?” I told him that he would be getting an email from my fleet manager to reschedule the delivery for a later time today. He had an attitude and told me we would sort it out, once he got the email. The BOL was not returned to me. Got a call later at 0545 to inform me that they had a dock ready for me. Would’ve been 30 minutes in violation at that point.
They were nice, but they gave my paperwork to someone else. So i had to go meet them to get my paperwork.
Good DC i came late 2 hrs they unloaded with in 1hrs thanks
Good
Easy in and out quick. Everyone was very friendly and helpful...
Good people, tight place to get to.
Always drop and hook quick in and out friendly staff
They only have one dock to deliver so you have to expect 1-6 hour waiting to get door
Quick unloading nice staff small gravel lot not nearly enough space to manuver tight entrance high traffic and no bathrooms
Waste of time
OTR drivers beware! Not a place for beginners. You need to know how to back in tight spaces since the layout has close obstacles where inbound is assigned. Very quick in unloading and great office staff.
This place sucks. I arrived early(1030) for my appt(1200). I get a call saying to back in my door and someone will be out to break the seal. Im backed in by (1130), 30 mins later someone come breaks the seal. Another hour later they start unloading me, but takes a break 10 mins in. Theyve began unloading again after 30 more mins. Hopefully they finish unloading me, I cant wait to leave here. They dont ever have to worry about seeing me again.
Great place usually, this place has become a rat hole since Phil isnt at the front desk anymore! Takes 2 hours to unload 4 pallets because of the receptionist!
Overnight parking and 2.5 hours unload time Be careful Its a tight place
