June, 2020 Do not risk bringing your phone to The FIX at McCain Mall. We brought two IPhone xs here and paid $130 each to repair screens. Left and went home and the touch screens did not work at all. Went back same day and they supposedly again put new ones on. They lasted about a month and the touch screens stopped working again. They told me because it was 3 days past the warranty that they would not fix them. Terrible owner and manager! Do no waste your money!

When I brought in my phone to this place, I thought it was completely screwed. The volume button had been stabbed and was jammed completely into the phone. I tried for a good hour to get it unstuck without success. I brought the phone in on a Tuesday night at about 7:30pm. I thought they were going to have to keep it and order parts and all that. Luckily I got a fantastic tech named Omar. He told me it would be about 10 minutes. I was a little unsure about that, but when I looked over 10 minutes later he gave me a thumbs up. I walked over and he handed me my now working phone. He told me the button is damaged and will need replacement, as well as anything that was damaged on the inside, but it is working for now. I have been using it for 2 days with no issues.I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally he worked, even while handling other customers because he was the only one there that night. I will definitely be going back to get the phone parts that are broken fixed, and I would recommend them to anybody looking to get their phone serviced.

I was in this morning and received excellent customer service from both young ladies Lauren and Amalia. Although the store was somewhat busy, Lauren was very attentive to my needs and made sure that I left with exactly what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised! I took my phone to the Fix to have my screen repaired and bought a new battery for my phone. Unfortunately I lost my receipt, but had issues with my phone a few days later. I called, explained the problem --was told to return and they would check out my phone issues. Not only did they fix the phone, I was given a screen protector as well. I have been a customer for a few years and highly recommend The Fix for any phone repairs. The customer service is great--extremely personable.

My screen was broken and they replaced it. I bought the tempered glass screen and a really cool case from there. Think I spent a total of 136$ on it all. He handed me my repaired phone and I couldnt get the screen to come on . Employee took the phone and did a reset on it and poof the screen was on. I went home and next day screen went out. I did a reboot and poof it was back on . This went on throughout about 3 weeks and I had also taken the phone back to them to get it permanently fixed before my 30 days was up. Last time I took it back up there, he permanently fixed it and I have had no problem since then. They honored me as a customer and did the right thing. I think they do good work and their prices are very reasonable. Also they have awesome cases. The atmosphere is really cool and they play some good music in there. Yes you will be tapping your foot while shopping for phone accessories. I say 2 thumbs up

Hunter and his co worker were both attentive and handled fixing my screen quickly even though they were somewhat busy. They also suggested a new battery because the Battery Health Capacity said 81%. They recommend replacing at 85%, so I somewhat skeptically agreed. Hunter did give me a fair price for the battery install b/c the phone was already open to replace the screen. Not only does the new battery last much longer, but there are performance enhancements I didnt expect. I appreciate the good service.

Update: to fix the issue, I had to have the entire screen replaced again at Apple. So changing from 2 stars to 1. Definitely not the cheapest when you have to pay someone else to fix what the Fix technician damaged. I hope I can save someone else’s wallet from the same fate!Went in for a replacement of an IPhone 7 screen. The screen was replaced, and appeared to be fine, but then I discovered that the proximity sensor no longer worked. Returned the next day and was repeatedly pointed to the waiver that I had signed, stating that damage done—even through the negligence of the technician—is not covered. They said they would replace the front camera for another $60. I declined, as that opens up the possibility of something else being damaged, which I could then “fix” by paying for another part. I should have just bitten the bullet and gone directly to Apple—yes, the cost is way more, but if they break something while they’re in there, they will take care of it.

I received amazing service today from the store today. Lauren helped me find everything I needed and she was a very friendly young lady. Will be back to the store for all my cellular needs! Thank you The Fix!

Brought phone in for a new battery. After broken screen, battery still running down quickly and now addition of broken Sim card reader I now have a complete pile of junk and get to purchase my wife a new phone. The only reason they didnt get a lower score is it doesnt offer negatives. Bear in mind this was a fully functional phone when brought in.

Would rate 0 if I could. Had my wifes screen and frame replaced on a note 9. Price ended up being higher than was told before we can up there but figure whatever just a few bucks around 190 total. Repair ended up taking hours during which time a lady came in fighting with employees about a phone they had ruined and wanted to be compensated for but was too late they were mid repair at this point. Couple days after repair noticed phone was not charging and also the screen was not set right and would pop a little when you pushed in the center.Took back and after waiting around may for 3 hours of diagnosis was told they had to order parts at this point I went to verizon and got my wife a new phone so she wouldnt be without while this one was being repaired.Called every 3 or 4 days for around 3 weeks checking for parts to be in before they had arrived. Normally the girl who answered said the girl who had worked on our phone was not there and they were not sure of what was going on with it.Once parts arrived at the store took phone for another 3 hour round of diagnosis and could not complete the repair with the parts they had ordered. I refuse to leave my phone with them and ask for phone to reassembled and returned. Once I left I noticed my stylus pen was missing from the phone and called store and was told there was no sign of it at the store.I called another repair after leaving ..CPR in Jacksonville who said for 30 they would diagnose my phone would warranty whatever the repair was if any was made. So I dropped phone off and was informed the next day that they found damage to one of the boards on and I decided to pay them for the repair another 190 and phone has worked great ever since.I called in and was told that they have on the form when you drop off your phone that they are not responsible for damage to phone while repairs are being made.I will never go into this store again and will tell every person I know to avoid them. Would be better to just throw your phone from car window than to bring it in to the fix at mccain mall. I am also filing a claim with the better business.

Nice bait and switch. They gave me one price over the phone and via quote, and it literally doubled when I went in to get the work done. Taking off of work to get this fixed, only to find out they doubled the price in the store. Terrible experience.

I paid for.my daughters iPad to be fixed on the 27th of December and its January 11th and its still not fixed after being reassured it would be. Asked for a refund and the store manager stated she couldnt give me nothing but what I purchased on my card since I didnt have my receipt. She knows that when you break your LCD that it doesnt cost 143 dollars and the only.other way to pay was through cash and shes not willing.to give me the rest of my money back. I will never do business with this store ever again!!

Customer Service is horrible in this store and their repairs are below standard, hence the comments about “cheapest in town”. You really get what you pay for in dealing with electronics. Was originally sold a defective screen for an iPad mini. No issue took back to the store and manager agreed to replace. We took back to the store on 12/26. This screen was supposed to be replaced on the same day. The manager gave my wife the run around for 2 days. I go to the store on today at 5p and sat in the store for 2.5 hours waiting on a screen repair. I filed an official complaint with Simon’s staff and will contact BBB and AG. While I was in the store for this extended period of time, no exaggeration or lie I witnessed 3 other customers come into the store with similar gripes and complaints. Surrounding businesses even commented “that store is notorious for messing up people’s stuff”. Guess you need a “No refund policy” in this case. Avoid at all costs and pay a little extra for better details to service!

If you want quality work with good customer service, this isnt the place! Had a phone screen replaced that was not installed properly and it fell out of the phone when attempting to put a protective case on it. Screen broke when it hit the ground. Manager called me a liar to my face and refused to refund my money. Worst phone repair shop i have ever been to! DONT USE THEM!! I will be contacting the BBB and the Attorney Generals office as well as the mall management office!

My iPhone 11 pro was cracked from the front and back glass. I took it to the mall and saw this store which it’s decent. It was Pretty expensive but I mean it was worth it so next day I come back to pick it up. A couple days later my Face ID was messing up, my portable charger where u charge it in the back did not work and would heat up . I had to take it to apple and they told me if I have had waiting a week later it could of blew up .. I couldn’t belive it until they open it and have some things missing from my camera and some chip was replaced by a iPhone 7 Plus .. this store is no good ! I repeat this is not good . It’s a rip off && steals ur money and dangerous!!

Do not go here! They do not stand behind their product. We brought our iPhone in to repair a cracked screen. The result was a screen that had multiple issues. We took the phone back to get it either repaired or refunded, but they refused. The owner even refused to talk with us when he was called. Wish we had never gone here. Now we have to get the phone repaired again and we are out $110.

Went in 10/12/17 got a new battery and thought was great. Battery was not in original package when he brought it out. 12/20/17 battery is bad per apple, called them and was told had a 30 day warranty. Do not waste your time or money. Thought I was saving $20 and wound up losing an additional $50.00. Person on the phone was rude. Also found out this voids the warranty on the phone and Apple cannot put a battery in. Found out also that the battery installed by The Fix had a plastic wrapper around it that was not removed and he did not put the adhesive strips on that hold the battery in place. Called the corporate office and was told they would investigate it and get back with me. Again super nice, so we will see what the outcome is.

All I can say is if you need your stuff repair this is the place by the way they have good customer service

Took IPhone 7plus to get screen replaced on 12/20. The entire screen was not cracked just the bottom left corner. I paid cash and they did not give me a receipt. On 12/28 the screen stopped working (anything you touched would not respond) This phone was given as a Christmas gift so didnt get used until 12/26. We contacted the store and they would not look at the phone because I didnt have a receipt, even tho you fill out a piece of paper with your name and whats wrong with the phone. The owner/manager was beyond rude and called the police before we even showed up so we wouldnt enter the store. We ended up taking the phone to another cell phone repair shop where he found they used super glue, did not removed the plastic paper, screws was missing and even there was places melted on the phone because it wasnt repaired correctly.

All of the repairs have taken two to three times the length theyve originally stated. Thats the most frustrating part in my experience. They are polite otherwise.

OMAR is probably the best technician in the area when it comes to fixing iPads, installing screen protectors, etc. I have a Note 8. On 2 occasions, I paid Verizon stores to install screen protectors at a cost over $40+ each time. Within 48 hours of the purchase of my phone and installation of screen protector #1, it was cracked HORRIBLY and would no longer stay affixed to the phone screen. Again, I paid $40+ for the second Verizon installed screen protector with essentially the same results. Verizon required that I register the screen protectors and make an online claim. Obviously, that screen protector is a waste of my time.So, I stopped by Fix-It and Omar installed a screen protector for $25. So far: no cracks, no bubbles, no problems, and the protector remains affixed to my screen.I wont be wasting anymore money on screen protectors at Verizon.Thanks OMAR!

Do not go here. spent 170$ to fix my iphone XR screen and they did not put my screen on all the way and it started to come up, this caused it to crack and they claim they cannot do anything about it. waste of money !!!

I got a phone case and tempered glass yesterday. I dropped my phone today ONE TIME and the tempered glass shattered. I used to have a $10 plastic cover from Target and I wish I would have just gotten another one. The people were really nice and helpful but the final product was kind of disappointing 😑

I brought my iPhone 8plus to them, everything was working and when I went to pick up they said my won’t turn on ever now😿 they have no experience, they were watching YouTube vid how to repair 8+. Dont trust thses people with your phone ... first it will be YOUR battery & then something else... if it JUST a cracked screen. TERRIBLE service.i was supposed to wait 2-3 weeks to get my watch back but ended up waiting 18 weeks. i was only supposed to pay 95 which i did that day and then when it was time to pick up they added $150 to my bill!! THATS MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE WATCH!!! i left my watch with them and will never use this place again. HORRIBLE

They Never removed the red plastic when putting my new screen on messing up my LCD screen And Then Told Me That They Would Fix It For An Additional 20 dollars So a I Drove 30 mins! To Get There To Be Told I Have To Pay 50! Dollars For There Mistake!! They Then Told Me “this is option take t or leave it” While I Also Spend $49.99 and $10.00 on a case and screen protector! Worst Customer Service EVER!!

By far the cheapest place in town to repair a cracked screen (half the price). They replaced it in 10 minutes. Omar was a very nice guy. Will be back.
