Update::: 9/9/2020 Is this place closed for business?????? Does anyone know if Chris is coming back???Excellent Work! We took our BMW to Chris. Thanks to him we were able to afford to have our vehicle repaired the price was more than expected Because there was a gas leak he showed us and it was very obvious once pointed out. The Most important thing is he took the time to Properly assess the two major things that were wrong. He is busy and it is obvious as to why. He is truly an Expert in his line of work-fact- going above and beyond to get the proper diagnostics. Thank you Chris!!! Take some time to rest, relax and take care yourself...We will definitely go to you for vehicle repair in the future as well. possible ocd and short spoken but that is A-okay with me if someone knows what they are doing and are truly open for business to get the Job done Right and to be Honest about what the diagnostics are or lack there of codes he Had to truly work outside of the box of regular thinking for sure and He Did... Chris is the owner of the shop and he does most or all of the work. He is the best mechanic that I have ever had. He is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and honest. He is OCD about doing the job right, all the way down to applying the proper torque to each bolt. He has solved problems for me that nobody else could.Chris is not the type of mechanic that would recommend a bunch of repairs just to make an extra buck. I would not say he is cheap. But I can say for a fact that he has saved me a tremendous amount of time, money, and frustration, by properly diagnosing and addressing problems the first time.In particular, if I had gone with the recommendation at the last shop I visited, they would have charged me an exorbitant amount of money to replace two parts, and my car still would have been screwed up. (This is after I already paid them $730 for an incomplete repair.) Chris determined that only one of those parts was damaged and that my subframe was out of alignment. Between the other shop and a body shop, he was the only one that noticed the subframe issue. Chris re-aligned my subframe, replaced the strut, repaired my wheel, had a new tire put on, and had a full alignment performed; all for half of what the other place wanted to charge me for work that would not have resolved my issues.Some of the online reviews (mainly for his previous location) are negative and describe him as being rude and the price ending up higher than the estimate. There is some truth to that. Sometimes the price does end up higher. But he does not price-gouge and he does not play games. He charges a fair price for parts and labor. (I have had other shops high-ball the repair cost, then negotiate the price lower.) As for the rudeness... I dont go see Chris to have a nice, casual conversation about the weather. I go to him because my car is messed up and I cant find anyone else competent enough to work on it. He eats, sleeps, and breathes cars, not people.
