The worse autostore I have ever messed with. They have had my car there for months and keep promising to bring it back or figure out what is wrong with it and keep feeding me excuse after excuse on why my car isnt there but keep promising they will bring it back. Avoid this place as much as you can as they do not even try to work with the person whose car needs fixing at all and just leave you in limbo.

Problem with car starting in Oct. Same month had car towed ($50) to shop to be worked on...was overheating and fan belt scraping against motor... (after initial analysis, told it was waterpump $242+). Got waterpump and thermostat online...cheaper than quoted price and shipped, then was told it was the harmonic balancer instead.($360)...After figuring out what that was, got one at Autozone (cheaper than what was quoted and delivered). Car was supposedly finished and ready to be picked up on Jan. 17, 2020 to the tune of $1000/$800 cash. I was told that the parts I ordered didnt fit the car nor were they needed. The problem was they crankshaft pulley and thats what I was being charged for plus labor. After getting car back, found pieces belonging on the engine (protective coverings of items that had been worked on) had not been put back after being taken off. Also, car was rattling and wouldnt stay started, once got home. Called shop to let mechanic know about problems, was charged another $120 for tow back to shop to complete whatever needed to be done to stop rattling and for car to stay started. Just received car back in March 4, 2020, ( YES, THIS IS HOW LONG IT TOOK TO COMPLETE WORK...FROM OCT to MAR!!!) And, I still do not know where those pieces that belong on car nor do I know if waterpump, thermostat, nor motor mounts, nor flywheel (just some random part, mechanic had me order) was actually used on my car or what...

These are great group of guys. I called and they said no need for appointment come in and will get you in and out in under an hour. They did great work putting on a new muffler on my truck I would recommend these guys to anyone! Skip the other guys and go here!

I been going to Discount Auto for three years and never had any problems until now. Around October of 2017 I put my 99 Tahoe in the shop at Discount Auto. My truck seems as if it wasnt picking up speed like it should so I thought the timing was off. I left it there for a week they called and said it was my injectors. So I ordered the injectors online and brought it to them to put on. They put it on, and I was charged $150. I got my truck back and it felt the same. Took it back to the shop in November to see why it still wasnt picking up speed like it should and they tell me it was my head gaskets. I payed $1250 for the heads and to get them installed. I got my truck out again and heard this knocking noise when I was on the highway. I immediately pulled over because the noise was getting louder and louder. I called the shop and the guy William Timmons said it was closing time and they was going to address the situation the next day. The truck was left on the highway overnight and I got a ride back home. I called them the next day to see if theyve got my truck and to see what was going on with it. They tell me that its my bottom end cylinder was messed up on the engine so I need a engine. Its a ongoing thing and I feel as if I wasted my 1250 because I would rather the mechanic tell me to get a new engine instead of putting on head gaskets on a dysfunctional engine. On the day of 4/4/2018 Timmons told me I couldnt have a refund therefore I just want my money back for the head gaskets and never return.
