I have to say that out of all the funerals out there (or better said that I’ve ever done business with), I’ve never been so well taken care of as I did by Serenity funeral home. They made the whole funeral process very easy with no hassles, which i very much appreciate. I was planning to have my sisters service here. I called to follow up with a question. They told me Joe will call me back, he never did. I called an hour later she said Joe left. She said she would email me a release that I have to sign so they could pick up my sisters body. She never sent it to me. She also said Joe would call me in the morning around 10 and he never did. I ended up using a different funeral home.

Absolute worst experience. I don’t know about all those amazing reviews but I called 8/3/20 evening. After I got a bit of info the call was disconnected. I called back later once we knew who was taking the body. They said an email would come 8/4/20 by 10am to authorize release of family member to their care and if not call. I called at around 11am. Was told they are “sending it right now” but they had to ask for info again and said it’ll be emailed to me in the “next few minutes”. NOTHING!!! Absolutely nothing. If this is how they treated the first call we absolutely cannot imagine what they’d do AFTER they received the body. We went with another funeral home - who so far has been amazing and followed through. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. It’s already a tough time but for them to add to the confusion & grief is absolutely abhorrent! Choose another place!!

Highly recommend, exceeded our expectations in every aspect

I lost my mom in February 2020 and my friend referred me to Keila at Serenity. Then, I lost my sister November 2020 and Keila was the FIRST person I called. My mom we didnt do a service in the funeral home we had her cremated but with my sister we had a service in the funeral home. Keila, Jill, Ivy and Derek were so wonderful at giving us the goodbye we wanted while still following Covid restrictions. I truly love and cant thank these people enough. I HIGHLY recommend. This team has been so accommodating and like I said just AMAZING. They made a good experience for something terrible and I will literally remember them forever.Thank you guys

I went to a service here recently and the building was beautiful and the staff was very thoughtful and nice. They showed a lot of love and care to the family it was nice to see.

Words cannot describe the level of care, attention to detail and love that Serenity has offered my family during this difficult time in our lives.The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, very willing to accommodate our requests. The funeral home itself is absolutely beautiful inside, tasteful and modern, yet austere and peaceful.I would highly recommend anyone who has lost someone to use this home.Pleased just doesnt describe how very thankful and happy we are for their assistance.Keila and Ivy are both in the perfect industry for their talents. The staff at serenity were so helpful and understanding during my time of hardship. They made everything as easy as possible for my family and I. The prices were the best around but the staff is what made them 5 stars. The facility was clean and well put together. Classy and artistic, you felt calm walking in. I will only use this place in the future and will recommend then to others. Thank serenity for helping through my loss.

Keila and staff, went out of their way, in helping us with my Moms funeral arrangements. All though there were restrictions due the Covid-19, they made us feel welcomed, answered any and all questions and with the upmost professionalism one can muster. What a great facility and upstanding staff. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved one services.

I referred a friend that had whose wife had passed unexpectedly to Serenity and my friend could not thank me enough. They took good care of both my friend and his wife. During a terrible time Serenity did a great job and I was surprised my friend sent me a thank you for the help!

The staff at Serenity really made a very difficult time a little bit easier. They treat you like family and go above and beyond.

When my brother and I suddenly lost our father our world was flipped upside down, and we didn’t know where to start or what to do. We remembered our dad told us about how helpful Keila and Serenity was when we lost our grandfather (his dad) three years prior. Thanks to Keila and her help every step of the way, we got to just focus on our family and remembering our father. There aren’t enough wonderful things we can say about Serenity and Keila. We just really want her to know how deeply we appreciate her help and guidance through our difficult time.

If you want to have an open casket go someplace else. Their makeup person did a terrible job on my 2 year old daughter; she was oompa loompa orange, had very noticeable wrinkles (on a 2 year old!), and her hands looked filthy. I asked for a lock of her long hair to braid and after she was already buried they sent me a baggie with about 20 strands of hair 1 inch in length and there was nothing I could do about it. The interior is of the place is nice but dont let the looks of the place fool you. I am very disappointed in how my baby was treated.

Kayla was amazing during a very difficult time. A close family friend passed away unexpectedly. He has very little family here and no funds to cover the expenses. We gathered up donations and I started making calls. I live close to Serenity so I called them after a few discouraging calls to other funeral homes. Kayla was so helpful and reassured me they would take care of everything. She gave me a price that was over $1,000 LESS than everywhere I called. She went and picked up our loved one the same day and had him ready for his 2 brothers the nexy morning (Sunday) to say goodbye. When I walked in, the facility is BEAUTIFUL. We went into the room where our loved one was and it was set up like a full service. He looked amazing. He was in a beautiful casket (other places said he would be in a cardboard box!) and Kayla allowed us to take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. They even went and bought him a shirt because his was removed. All of thid they made possible within 72 hours of his death. The service they provided would have easily cost 3-4k ANYWHERE else with much less attention and love. I dont want anyone i love to die but if they do this is how i want them to be treated. And this is the place I will trust them with. I forever grateful Serenity Memorial. Thank you for all you did for us today!!
