Checked in to the room less than 2 minutes ago. The way this bathroom looks is how the whole hotel room looks. Like garbage. The very distasteful patch on the wall is a HUGE HOLE that you can bend with just a pinky. It’s 90 degrees in the room at least. Someone’s sock is on the ground next to the bed. Cigarette burns on the phone and tables. Shame shame

Its a hole in the wall spot... Secondly we came to visit a family member there and you gonna get into some things just by smoking outside the room, being that its none smoking. I had no problem with that. My issue is the guy at the desk obviously has a poor choice in character. At the end of the day this should not be anyone choice of room...it is a infestation of crime.

I like this place. Only thing is price. My opinion is to expensive for what you get and location. Come on its N. Charleston SC. Not like downtown Charleston or on beach. Those locations are crazy in their cost. The area at Relax inn is close to interstate and has fast food very close by. Thats a plus. I just thing if cost per nite was $68-$82(tax included) it be alot better. Im on fixed Income so far me the $92 a night too hi. Then weekend cost is $101 all with tax. Its a small hotel but it was clean and the lady at front desk very nice. Its just the price was to much. I wish they had reasonable weekly rates cause i for sure woukd do that. If i can next month i will go back for a night after payday 3rd. Im on soc sec and at monent homeless. I got to go to a hotel to get off streets. If RELAX INN had better rates i woukd be there every month for 7-14daz. Thank You

My son seems to like this place so I am going to rate it high. I, personally, think the prices?should be lower and they should offer discounts like AAA or whatever... Thanks tho

Relax Inn is cheap hotel, My fiance found and booked us room here because all the other Hotels were booked. So given our circumstances we had no choice so if u ever in a bind with no other option then yes Relax Inn is okay choice. The Hotel room had cigarettes burns stains on the Tub. The shower head and shower nozzle came out when u turn the shower on. The bed pillows only had 2 or 3 and they were flat. My recommendations is to update the Hotel outside plus the rooms and get maintenance to fix the water pipes.

There was nothing special about the motel itself. Most important, there was no reason to complain.

The owner is a great person. He understands life happens and things happen unexpectedly. The rooms are clean and fresh and the price is more than affordable

Some of our subcontractors stay there very often while traveling. The staff has always provided great customer service and have been very accommodating. We especially like that Relax Inn has the option of a couple of larger rooms, if needed.

A slightly roach problem need better stocking of fresh items toiletries and watch out for the holes in restroom over shower but its a great deal and comfortable stay

The card and the front desk clearly says no pets the whole time I stayed there I couldnt breathe because the neighbor had cats and a dog that was peeing all in the room obviously. When we complain to the owner he just kept making excuses didnt offer us a partial refund or anyting. In our room there was cockroaches and sockets were not in place so my two year old could have gotten shocked if I wouldnt have been watching him every second it was the worst beach stay I have ever had! I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone and truth be told DHEC or someone should shut them down

The rooms are very nice and quiet and I will be coming back trust me 😃😃😃😁

3 YOUNG FEMALES HARASSED by OTHER GUESTS and instead of punishing the wrongdoer management REFUSED OUR BUSINESS the next day while trying to reserve our rooms again. Horrible inn. Cockroaches climbing up walls. Housekeeping slack asf. Majority of sockets and lights dont work. Outdated room. Walls thin. LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED....WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE.

Walked in room 112 and the shower was running, it wouldnt shut off either and there were roaches in the room! Immediately came to the front desk for a refund. $100 after tax is ridiculous to pay for this place anyway!

Extremely over priced. Black mold on walls and in bath rooms. They said it had been renovated, but it clearly looked like they just painted over the black molded wall.Seemed to have alot of drug pushers and prostitutes staying at hotel.When we had a few visitors the owner wigged out on us and we were asked to leave.If your from out of town there are better places to stay for same price on ashley phosphate road. Dont waiste your time or money on this hotel.I am trying to find out how SC inspects hotels and close it down because of all the dangerous black mold under the paint.

The place is a dive. Water doesnt turn off, carpet shouldhave been replaced 15 years ago. Your hole room shakes when someone walks by your room. I felt as thou the bottoms of my feet were dirtier AFTER I got out of the shower. Paper thin walls . curtians with holes and the bath towels could only be compared to something you used to dry the dishes so often you coul!d see thru it.
