I had a starter motor fail while in North Charleston on business. They bent over backwards to assist me and got me back in the air in a couple of hours. First class service, they worked with the shop that installed it 6 months prior and got it taken care of under warranty. The shop was full of turbine equipment and I’m just a piston guy but they treated me wonderfully. I would highly recommend them.

I had IST do a pre-purchase inspection on a piston single. They missed A LOT of squawks that should have been picked up by any competent shop. They may do good (but probably expensive) work on turbines, but look elsewhere for recips. This blunder cost me a lot of money.

I am so grateful for the help we got from the guys at Interstate Turbine. We had flown in from out of state to purchase and pick up an airplane. When we got there, we found several things that the seller neglected and another prebuy mechanic didnt find or didnt tell me. These were items that made it non-airworthy.The wonderful guys at Interstate Turbine dropped what they were working on that morning and spent the next several hours helping us fix/inspect things so everything was legal. They were so incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. Solely because of their help, we were able to depart later that day. Thank you so much, you guys are rockstars!!

Way over priced and slow. If you are stuck and need work at any price they may be ok but for locals looking for a reliable shop that charges a reasonable price for a job these are not the guys!
