Spiveys towing told me they would arrive to me at the scene of the incident bewtween 1-1:30 pm. The driver was not en route until after 4pm. The shop I was having it towed to was gated and had to have the car before 5pm. Spivey then cancelled my service without my knowledge or without even telling my insurance company, basically left me stranded there. You arent suppose to think amazing service when you think of towing, but these people go above and beyond to make sure you have a terrible experience and they do the bare minimum of their job.

This is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever worked with! Not just the worst towing company, any company! Would give 0 STARS if that was an option. I ASK ANYONE READING THESE REVIEWS, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS REVIEW. This will give you a real understanding of how bad this company is. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!Recently I was involved in a pretty severe auto accident. 911, Police, Fire Rescue and Ambulance were very responsive and helpful. One of the services provided by the police is to call towing companies as soon as possible to clear the vehicles off the road. Spiveys Wrecker Service showed up to tow my vehicle. The accident occurred very close to my place of work which has a body shop and storage lot for damaged vehicles. I requested Spiveys to tow my vehicle to my place of work, less then a quarter mile away, and he said he couldnt. He said Its not our policy and he would have to ask his boss. He came back and said NO, he would have to tow my vehicle back to Spiveys. I know the SCAM that is towing and storage relating to this type of situation. They tow the vehicle back to there lot and charge you or your insurance company, Towing, Storage and Other fees and make it difficult to get your vehicle back. Knowing that and wanting to be fair, I offered the tow truck driver $200.00 extra for the tow to tow my vehicle the 1/4 mile to my work instead of Spiveys. HEAR IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD! Spiveys tow truck driver leaned forward to me and said DO YOU HAVE CASH? I said No but will pay your company $200.00 more then your normal tow bill to tow it to my work 1/4 mile away. HE YELLED, F**K Y*U!, JUMPED IN HIS TOW TRUCK, DID A U-TURN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUSY ROAD, FLOORED IT AND DROVE AWAY! Left me and my disabled vehicle in the middle of a busy road during rush hour. The Police came to me and asked Where is the tow truck going? I told them what the driver said before he drove off. The Police Officer did not seem surprised by that! Luckily I know a few Good Reputable Towing companies and was able to get one of them to come get my vehicle off the road. From my understanding these towing companies are on rotation with the police department, Spiveys needs to be REMOVED from this rotation. I understand they may not have made as much money as they would have liked by charging storage charges, but I did offer them a little more $$ to help. In the end the most important job in a case like this is to help the person shaken up from the accident and to get the disabled vehicle off the road and out of harms way. Also to help the traffic jam created. My very nice vehicle was totaled in this accident, I was more upset with this towing company then the person at fault in the accident. In case it matters to those reading this review, I was not at fault at all.

Called through roadside assistance, hard to get in contact with dont want to help. Brought the wrong truck when a flat bed was needed. I believe had I not been there they would have used the other truck which would have cause a lot of damage. I will not use again. Wish I could rate less than 1 star.

Just had the intense displeasure of driving eastbound on I-26 from about Ashley Phosphate to the I-526 interchange near one of this companys trucks. The driver was tailgating and weaving in and out of traffic. I understand they are a tow company, but do you really need to create your own wrecks??

Shadiest company EVER. Also have NO IDEA what they are doing. My car was stolen and found scratch-less with only a flat tire. The guy doing the tow had NO IDEA what he was doing - dragged my BRAND NEW 2018 Hyundai Elantra (With only 5000 miles on it) 15 miles with a flat tire. Needed a new tire, rim, bumper, alignment, and now Im finding out I also need new shocks .... all because of the way they towed it.Before they let you see your car, they make you pay and sign a clause saying they are not liable for damages - again, before you even SEE YOUR CAR and the damages they did.Shady sketchy company. DO NOT USE. Pictures attached with the car in fine condition and them obviously towing it incorrectly and a picture of what my car looked like when I arrived to pick it up.

I was run off the road into a ditch off of Dorchester during a rainstorm. I gave Spiveys a call and could not have received better service both from the dispatcher and the driver. She was very pleasant and helpful and the driver even gave me a call to let me know he was on the way. Its good to know there are folks out there like this when you need them. Thanks guys!!!

The wrecker driver called me shortly after being contacted by my insurance company and told me he would be there in 20 minutes and he was! Very pleased with the service!

Service was terrible. Said it would be an hr. to hr. and a half.4hrs later they still hadnt shown. They kept lieing to us and to customer service who rescheduled another tow co.

The wrecker exterior and interior was a shambles..filthy..driver was courteous..

I waited an hour and a half for someone to show up so I can get my car but other than that they took care of my car and give me my stuff

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Robin was completely rude and unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Disbatch was rude!! She gave me wrong information.Had to get police involved. Do NOT use!! After speaking with owner of company, she informed that the disbatcher I spoke with was just hired and was still learning. Still no reason to give out incorrect information and then rude when I needed further clarification. Owner did apologize for disbatchers behavior.

Kenneth at Spiveys was a breath of fresh air with respect to professionalism, expertise and Customer Satisfaction. It was my first time using Spiveys and felt throughout the process that I was a valued customer. Quality work was the most important factor to me, and they delivered absolutely. They proved trustworthy. I will not hesitate to return to Spiveys for any of the many services they provide.

Dispatcher was rude, disrespectful & even combative upon calling to determine which driver towed my 16 - year olds vehicle. Driver refused to allow the girls to charge their phones or tell them where they were going after taking them off the beaten path. This never shouldve become a frightening experience. 5 hours after calling roadside assistance for tow service who guaranteed they would arrive within a 90 minute window, the girls were returned home safely but very shaken. My call was never returned by the owner.

I waited for about 15 minutes while the lot manager talked on the phone about his personal motorcycle. The main office is a run down mobile home. And its nearly impossible to see from the road.
