After going to best buy to talk to their Geek Squad I was told there was nothing I could do to upgrade my computer and was limited to my 8GB of Ram. Found out about BetterBuilt so I stopped by. They were able to upgrade my laptops Ram to 16GB & recommended and increase in storage to improve speed. It ultimately made my photo editing workflow more than twice as fast! What took 5 minutes to process now takes less than 2. Video editing is also SO much smoother. Cant thank them enough, saved me from buying a new computer! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their computer!

Great service and work done properly restores confidence in my hardware and software. I have had laptops repaired, restored and bought a new laptop at Better Built and have been very pleased with their service. I have also purchased accessories including an HDMI cord for my flat screen TV and printer cables. The technicians are very personal and do not intimidate the customer with their know how, they assess the situation and discuss the options available to you. Do not be fulled by the size of the shop when you walk in because you are only seeing the public part of the operation. A digital sign out front on Middlebranch Avenue announces current sales and deals for services and products offered. When I bring my laptop in and drop it off, there is a $25 diagnostic fee paid up front which helps the technicians assess what your machine needs and then pricing and options to move forward go from there. This is a very sane and logical approach to your hardware and software needs instead of going to a big box store and merely buying a whole new system. I highly recommend Better Built.

They did a great job replacing a laptop screen for me and their prices were reasonable too!

My mom basically trashed my computer. Turned the water hose on while I had my computer outside listening to music. I came outside and my laptop was water logged, water everywhere, screen went black nothing worked.... So I brought it in, told them what happened and gave them my laptop. Needless to say i got my laptop back running just as before... And cheaper then buying a whole new unit. Id give you ten stars if I could. Thanks again!!

Needed a laptop for my business and didnt want to go to Big box store (they give you double talk and try to up-sell you). Joe at Better Built sat down with me and listened to what I needed, made suggestions and built a computer that fit my needs that is fast and not full of bloatware. Havent had one issue so far. We were very happy with the repair/rebuild they did for us. They thoroughly explained the rebuild and gave us options where we could save. There were some delays, but given the end result, we were OK with the wait knowing that it was done right. We will use them again.

A little expensive but quick.

I took a laptop in to be repaired. The problem was a broken screen; no other problems related to the actual function of the laptop. I was told they had to run diagnostics and work would be done in 8 to 10 working days. I finally agreed to unneeded diagnostics that found no problems (no surprise there). Now, 7 working days after drop off Im advised that the part hasnt been ordered yet and repairs will cost 85% of replacement value. Pricing on part and shipping is 3x the Internet available price. Labor time needed is higher than initially quoted. So, they got to run a diagnostics. Ill replace the screen and NEVER refer this company to anyone again.

Fair, honest and friendly. They are my go to geeks for anything computerish. I just bought a custom specd Dell Inspiron 15, 3000 series with touch screen and a lot of bells and whistles. The pricing was fair and the machine does all that I ask of it. I have and will continue to recommend BetterBuilt to friends who want a better experience than they can get at a big box store or over the internet. Personalized service is getting more and more hard to find but these folks manage to provide it.
