I made a long-distance purchase on a piece of equipment from Blue Star and the entire process was exceptional. They were very responsive to my inquiries and needs and went above expectations to make sure the process was executed smoothly. I will gladly do business with them again when the opportunity arises.

This place is top notch. They have great customer service and the quality of equipment is exceptional. They offer delivery and pick up. The process was super easier, and I highly recommend using them for all your rental needs.

I recommend them.. I have used this company in past and will continue to use them. I have had a really good experience with Blue Star. They have everything from the big tractors for large work and all the small stuff that a do it yourself home owner might need.

I am writing to say that I wrote a review about this place of business, but it was Blue Star Rental of Aiken who gave me bad service. I do apologize for that, but I was shocked to receive a threat from this business. The message started off pleasant enough which is where the manager should have left it. I feel that I should post this message in case anyone ever decides to give a negative review of this business. Here is the response so you can judge for yourself. BTW, the message went to the wrong person. He threatened someone who didn’t even write the post. I have given a middle of the road rating since I was threatened.

I been renting from them every since they opened. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The equipment is very dependable and equipment rental prices are good. I enjoy doing business with them.

I rented a mustang (bobcat type of front end loader) to do some clean up work on my property after the ice storm. I was told it was going to be $75 dollars to deliver but it ended up being $150 because delivery did not include picking up the mustang when I was finished. The manager left this out of the pricing until after picking it up. Upon return of the equipment the manager charged me $163 because there was a scratch on one of the decals on the mustang. He said he would send me pictures of the damage but never did. He charged over $800 dollars to rent the mustang for ONE day and then at the end because I actually used the equipment the way it was suppose to be used and a decal was supposedly scratched, I was charged an additional $163. The manager was rude and very hostile when I challenged him on the scratch. Because these charges were described in the fine print i was obligated to pay them. None of these charges were expressed to me before renting. Please be careful when you rent from this place. They will use the fine print to get as much money out of you as they can. I will not go back to this place and I would advise anyone looking to rent equipment to look elsewhere.

The manager did his best discriminating against us because we were not contractors. I used to refer everyone I knew to them, but no more. I have rented equipment as well before a long time ago. Since they no longer want to rent equipment to regular working class people they need to take their signs down and put up ones that say we deal with contractors only

Manager worked with me to arrange after hours pickup and drop off. Would recommend them for folks looking for some flexibility in the management.
