John is extremely responsive and very detail-oriented. His inspection helped us identify a number of issues in our first home and saved us meaningful purchase price. We were so happy with his work on our first home, weve used him again to inspect our second home as well.

John was the best! He took his time looking at every detail and explaining everything. Then in the 40 page report everything was detailed and pictures so that everyone looking at the report knew exactly what he was talking about. Report took exactly one week to get to me which is what he told me it would take. Would definitely recommend him and use him again for future purchases.

Worst experience ever! I dont understand how this guy got all 5 star rating. Only tells me he had his friends post the ratings. I should have done more research before going with this guy. But because i was working on a tight schedule had no choice. After the inspection he confirmed the report would be ready in 3-4 days. 1 wk passed and tried calling him and emailed him several times no reply. Finally got through and he then said it would be ready within a couple of days. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. 2 weeks passed and still no replies to my calls or emails. After i get through this guy he tells me hes been busy with personal things. @@ Never even bothered to apologize. He will give you excuses after excuses. He showed me a report which clearly to me looked unfinished. He just put 2 pictures side by side with a brief description on top. I asked him if he could revise or add some additional description on the images but he straight forward told me NO cause thats more work for him. @@ his reply is take it or leave it. Never seen some one so unprofessional in their line of work. My 10yr old nephew couldve made the report better than this guy. Not only his inspection reports are garbage and unprofessional he over charges compared to other inspectors which i just finished with half the price and even better quicker and most important professional looking inspection report.Dont be fooled by the ratings. This guy operates several different websites so beware. All the things he states on his website about quality inspection report is bull$#it!!!

As first time home buyers, my fiancé & I were a little apprehensive (because of the budget) about hiring a home inspector. We are so glad we DID! Hometech came highly recommended by our realtor & we were so thankful for it. Our inspector John G. was thorough (more than 3 hours), honest, & knowledgeable. It was well worth it. He saved us from making a really bad purchase. Hire John (Hometech) you wont be disappointed.

Worked with John recently and I absolutely love the way he works, his ethics and the time he puts into his inspections. If it wasnt for for him we would have purchased a home that 70% of the outlets did not work, the radiators most of them were leaking, the bathrooms shower was leaking on the side, the new boiler was installed incorrectly, the roof was on it last leg! the basement started to flood during the inspect (thank god he ran the water long enough to discover this issue), the windows werent aligned correctly and the deck was rotten, he discovered after going underneath that they made poor to no repairs on what was supposed to be a renovated home. Safe to say John saved us from a nightmare. We were there for so long because of all the issues that kept popping up and being more apparent. We are very thankful that he did and amazing job! If not we would have been in serious problems with this property had we went forward with the purchase. I wouldnt even want my own worst enemy if i had any to end up with this property. So thank you John for keeping us away from such a disaster
