Really enjoyed having lunch here. Based on the crowd it seems well known. Friendly staff. Food was really good. Great atmosphere. Parking was easy unlike some other places around. Prices are reasonable considering the higher costs of everything lately. Don’t let some of the negative reviews deter you from trying this place out. Overall it was a good experience for me.

Horrible servicewas on hold for 10 minutes only to be answered aggressively, put back on hold, given to someone else to take my order, and then hung up on. Reading through some of the reviews on here i see many people have similar experiences with the service. This is a cool spot and good place but the owner/management is killing its potential and draining the life out of it with their lack of attentiveness to customer satisfaction

Interesting and bold choice of plate for the Greek salad. Salad itself was good however due to the shape of the plate the chicken and various other parts of the salad keep falling off the plate. I assume a round or even oval shaped plate would have been more suited for the task as hand. Namely keeping my food on the plate where I could eat it.

Stopped in for a spontaneous lunch with some friends during the final stretch of our drive to VT. Freight Yard Pub was exactly what we were looking for. We were in the mood for a cozy spot with wifi and good food, all of which we got.We shared the spinach and artichoke dip bread bowl appetizer to start, I had a chicken Caesar salad, one friend had a burger, two others had steak sandwiches. There were no complaints on the food.Hard to find and tucked away under an overpass, but it’s a good spot if you’re passing through

Generous portions and tasty chili highlight the offerings at this local pub. The draft list is extensive and varied. Portions are very generous, shown here is a standard Reuben sandwich with onion rings. Also a massive bowl of chili. Needless to say the food hits the spot on a cold winters day in the Berkshires. If you find yourself visiting any of many attractions in town, don’t hesitate to stop by Freightyard when you get hungry!

Western burger was super good, chicken tenders were fairly bland, French fries were seasoned nicely. Waitress was nice, the live entertainment was also nice.

We came South of Albany to a travel baseball game right around the corner from the Freight Yard. I made reservations for Fathers Day dinner. After a long windy ride to the game and it being a long day in the heat and knowing we had a long wooded ride home I hesitated to follow through with the reservations but decided to go anyway. SO HAPPY we went! We sat outside under the lights and beautiful patio. Tables were spaced out nicely. Its right next to railroad tracks which at first I was hesitant about too but a train went by and to be honest it went pretty slow and it was a cool experience!Our only complaint was it took a long time to be served. I went to the front and told a super sweet young lady whom I wish we got her name but just didnt. She was serving inside and instead of getting after the serving staff she took it on herself. She came right out and tended to us immediately! She was very apologetic and super sweet. We chatted with her for a bit and my kids loved her. So my rating should really be a 4.5 stars! Only issue was the first lack of our waiter but she more than made up for it which I made sure my husband tipped well 😊. So stop by there if you can, youll really enjoy it 👍🏻 Thank you so much to the young lady who served us! My girls loved the deserts too!

Typical pub food, Lots of booze options. Friendly staff, very attentive.Unfortunately the restaurant adds 15% to what they consider large parties… we had 8 people. Pay attention to your bill.

Ill start with the good. The live music was fantastic. The steak and wings were pretty good. Parking was horrible. Service was poor. Ravioli was served cold as were the scallops. I would not recommend this place at all.

Sam was a fantastic bartender, and my western burger was delicious! Cant wait to stop in again!

Caleb was our server and did a great job and was very friendly. The fried pickle portion was large for two people and it would be nice to have a smaller option. The buffalo chicken salad was flavorful. The steak on our Caesar salad would be better if more flavorful. The salads were difficult to eat because of the large portions on a relatively small and oddly-shaped plate.

Lots of outdoor seating and friendly waitstaff made this a good stop for lunch on my drive from VT to NY.

I came here for dinner with a friend last night and were less than impressed. We walked in at 8:30 with the intention of asking if it would be too late for dinner, when we were told by a man behind the bar that we could sit where wed like and we would be served.Cut to nearly 20 minutes later on the back patio, and we are being nervously greeted by a server (Maddie, who ended up being wonderful) who had not been told we had arrived. When we said we had not yet been served, she went to ask the person who originally greeted us and was met with argumentative behavior that we watched through the windows. The next time we saw Maddie was when we learned that this person was in fact the OWNER.Had we been told it was too late for dinner, we would have understood. What I do not understand is an owner who does not communicate to their staff, who puts a server in a stressful situation, AND expects that server to stay to accommodate for their lack of communication. A decent BBQ chicken sandwich, two rounds of local brews, and a server who was friendly despite being treated poorly does not make up for ill-fitted management.Dont bother coming in unless its just for a drink. The patio is a nice place to gather.

Stopped in to have some dinner after spending the day at the MASS MoCA had a great meal! They had good food and service. I sat outside and it was a nice seating area. Ill be back next time Im in the area. Id also definitely recommend to anyone!

Went to their Sunday brunch and ordered pancakes and a side of bacon. The menu is quite limited but we were grateful for indoor seating during COVID. There were 3 omelette options, pancakes, or waffles (the special of the day). The food was fine, perhaps 4 stars. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our pancakes though as they “ran out of mix” which really made it a lackluster experience.The waitress was kind, apologetic and attentive.

Burger was very good! I also got onion rings instead of French fries. They were really good! I would definitely go there again! My husband really liked it too!

Best restaurant in North Adams, hands down. Staff is always super friendly, know the menu and what comes in or with each meal. My favorite time to go is during the winter months, when its cold out and they have the wood fireplaces burning. The menu is excellent, and their specials are even better. I highly recommend one of their burgers, you definitely wont get a better burger anywhere else in the Berkshires!

Literally came here for some dinner with a friend. We got seated (no forks, spoons, knives or a napkin.) We sat there and waited for someone to serve us for a half an hour. Nobody showed up so we left. How the hell can you seat someone and not serve them? I will never be coming back, this was my first and my last time here. Nobody even came up to us and asked us if we wanted drinks. Disgraceful. I was going to say something but I shouldnt have to ask for service, so I left.

Sat outside in the patio area and it was lovely. Just be careful with the footing of your chairs. A woman at the table next to us almost fell over when her chair leg fell into a gap between the stones. Service was great and food was delicious.

All 4 of us loved the clam chowder. The burgers, fish, and chicken was great as well. Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. We sat upstairs which was very nice. Finding the front door was a bit confusing, but the food and friendly service was so good that well definitely be back.

We had a great waitress and great food last night outside under the tent. Nice to have boyh outside and the tent. Just before, the skies opened and the rain was coming down so hard all the Oregon wildfires smoke cleared out of the air. Coming back again tonight and reading the menu and reviews to decide before hand. Told other guests at Field Farm guest house so may see a few of them here tonight. Long list of beers and ciders make amazing choices. Covid is tough but you are tougher!

Overpriced! Nachos are a kids serving for $16 - how much markup does one need on chips and lettuce? Bud lights are craft draft at $9-$11 depending on who rings it up? Sad because you want to help local restaurants but this group (includes Craft Barn) are just ripping people off and doing nothing to get better. Rather than blasting customers that give honest low ratings - GET BETTER! Maybe exceed an expectation or two rather than drain people and say we aren’t understanding enough.

I have ordered here many times. Its hit or miss. Sometimes its great, sometimes its terrible. The most recent experience and my last one, I ordered two burgers. One was fully cooked after I ordered it medium rare, missing the additional toppings I ordered and paid for, and tasted off. The fries on one order were very old, even considering it was delivery. I dont expect them to be like in the restaurant and have ordered fries to be delivered before and these were terrible. Eight hours later I got sick and so did the person I ordered with. I am convinced that we got food poisoning. We will not be returning.

Great restaurant with a delightful outdoor patio.  Both the food and the service were great.  We didnt feel rushed at all. Wonderful spot to hang out and have cocktails or have a meal.

Google Maps did confuse us and we drove around the actual restaurant, so take the following tip. Once you turn off the Main Street either before or after the bridge take the first right and park under the bridge. It’s the big red building! Easy to park warm and inviting in the inside with free popcorn as an app while you wait. Lots of good pub style food and the chili is very good! Burgers are quite hefty and the prices are average. Service was good overall and the atmosphere seemed very friendly!

Dont even know their own hours; A week ago made reservations for 8 pm July 4th 2021. Went at 7:55 pm a brunette came up said our kitchen is closed! We explained we made reservations a week earlier for 8 pm irritated by our presence she refused to even check. Went to Village instead a REAL business paid 31 dollars for a meal Freight Yard would charge about 100 for.

Paid $51 for scallops and stuffed chicken. The scallops were over cooked. The chicken was extremely tough. So disappointed! Even wrote the owner to let them know about my experience and they read my message but did not respond. We were regulars at this restaurant, despite their inconsistencies. No plans to return..

This is our go to place. Outdoor dining allows us to bring our dog. They give her water and we enjoy a delicious meal 😋

Food was really good, I had leftovers and so did everyone else with me. The inside is very cozy and nicely decorated. I got the chicken pot pie and it was really good. I thought it was a little weird at first how it comes out with a puff pastry on top of it but it was still very good! I would definitely come back to this place :)

Recommend going in to eat. I frequent FYP as a local a few times a year but recently used the delivery option for the first time. Do not recommend. Our food came a few minutes before schedule so that was good, however our order of tarter sauce and creme brulee were missing but I was still charged money for the creme brulee. We called immediately and were told we dont normally do creme brulee for pick ups, we can only do delivery. (Which... We told them it WAS through delivery.) They didnt print the dessert on our receipt for some reason so Im thankful we had a digital one and my bank info as proof. They came back and dropped it off, however they still didnt give us the tarter sauce for our fish, instead, we got Cole slaw which neither of us ate.If you eat here, definitely recommend only going in and being seated. I will warn that a lot of the food is very bland but some dishes are better than others, most appetizers are great, the desserts are the best (except for most of the pies, the only pie worth while are the icecream pies which are my favorite along with the creme brulee and cookie skillet.) The peanut butter banana burger is shockingly good, and basically any steak item turns out well. The fajitas are also a favorite of my boyfriends.

Great place to stop and have a small bite and a brew. We didnt have full size meals so I knocked a star off since we didnt get the full dining experience. With nice weather, the outdoor patio is really nice. Cool little place to happen upon by chance.

Food was excellent. We all had different types of burgers with different sides - all of them were great. The staff were friendly, attentive and there was appropriate social distancing. A wonderful evening.

Not sure I want to come back here anytime soon. $7 dollar delivery fee for 2 miles, Dominos in town charges half that price for standard delivery. So, you want to pick it up instead? They charge a $3 pick up fee instead for you to get your own food. Seems like a lot of over-reaching with this restaurant, on top of their prices changing by up to 30% for items. Id avoid them for the time being until this pandemic gets better.

Clam chowder was good. The nacho platter is a pile of nachos stuck together on a tiny plate and you have to pry them off the tiny plate to find almost every chip cheeseless.. I guess there is a cheese shortage. My wifes food was cold and they wanted to take the whole dinner to microwave It. Then they bring the rice out that they was funny to add water to it. You all might want to clean the filthy place. Should have went to the hot dog ranch. To top it off my wife ousted puked you food up for ten minutes. Tell you staff to wash your hands after they use the bathroom.

Usually I would give this place 5 stars but not this time. Fried pickles were great. Chicken tenders were moist and delicious. French fries were stale. And I was given a can of root beer to pour myself. And it was cheap root beer not even the good stuff. This used to be my favorite place.

Maybe taking on a lot? Quality has gone downhill. Be careful if you have a food allergy, so many times this has been balled up for us. If it was a fatal allergy.... 😬

I have never eaten here before. My feonce and I had came here for the first time and we had the Potatoes skin and beef tips mash potatoes, couple burgers fries some nachos and onion rings. First the Onion rings needed more breading, burger medium rear one was not, more raw then medium rear. Potatoes skins great job on the baked part but less rim. Other then that great place. Love to come back and try something else.

Lived around here my whole life and in the last 6 weeks have given this restaurant quite a few tries (before that had never been!). The first time was amazing! The sun dried tomato ravioli the best! Pricey though for 6 ravioli ($16.95). But it was worth it!The last few times we ordered there were issues:-Tenders tossed in barbecue instead of on the side-sent a terraki flavored burger instead of plain.-forgot that it wasnt delivery and let my food sit for half hour and then called. Which they proceeded to deliver but went to a street in Williamstown (2 towns away) instead of my street in Adams. Hour and a half later cold food.Now they were receptive and helpful, as i was polite about mistakes happening. But in short time frame.Today i spent $34 on take out (plus the $5 tip i leave for picking up my order to help knowing these are trying times). My $16.95 ravioli with upcharge for extra sauce, had a legit green bean on the top mixed into the sauce. I called and they told me ohh its the special veggie of the day, it must have fallen in.. sorry about that. I followed up with a messenger picture of it and no response. I am sitting here staring at the food going into the trash while i eat a frozen pot pie hours later. In the middle of pandemic last thing i want is my food contaminated by something that oops fell into it! They will lose my business after this. I been here my whole life and survived never trying it and i will survive not eating it again! Money down the 🗑 🚮I

Good comfort food that was made to perfection. Had the fish and chips that was prepared with a good side of coleslaw and fries. Staff was fast and friendly. There is train museum right next door that you can visit before or after your meal.

What started as a nice day visiting Mass Moca turned sour. We got recommended to eat here by our hotel receptionist. Its one of the most popular spots in the area. I will say this, I really value my time and I hope this review helps you. This has been one of the most horrible experiences I had at a restaurant. We ordered fajitas and a chicken parmesan and the food was horrible, chicken was rubbery and the vegetables were not fresh they also gave us cold tortillas. I would say plenty of other fast foods restaurants have better food than this flavorless place. Save your money way too overpriced for food that tasted so bad we couldnt even eat it and left it all there. Go somewhere else even pizza would of been better.

Surprisingly good food! Fajitas were good, steak tips were great. Server was very nice and fast until the end. We ended up waiting around for an extra 20 min waiting for check and payment. Overall good spot and we’ll be back

Super accommodating when 25+ of us rolled in on the bikes. We abided by the 6 per table rule, which was no issue for us but those poor waitresses..they were super accommodating and provided separate checks for us with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Food was excellent also.

Add reservations for 7:00 got there I had about a 15 minute wait sat down get told theyre out of prime rib main reason we went there then where we sat you can see in the kitchen area all the staff had their mast on there chins I understand the kitchen gets hot but yeah we wont be back until this virus is under control they did have dividers up between tables we did see then clean them off but if the people making the food have no mask Ill wait to try it again

Had baby back ribs. Home made Boston clam chowder, and homemade coleslaw. Oh and a garden salad. All were fantastic. Friendly far service and even the black velvet and ginger was good. Highly recommend!!
