Had my granddaughters baby shower there. All staff were very friendly, and accommodating. Food was wonderful. My little 4 yr old great granddaughter had a ball, trying to speak Italian to the owner. He got a big kick out of her. Lovely people @

I would give this plus a minus 100. Place taste like a third world country food. The food was terrible and soggy. The cook isnt Italian. Hes Egyptian or a Muslim. Cant have any cook than Italian person making Italian food cause they dont know how to. Only Italian cooks make the best food. This place lost a good customer that use to pay high to go to this place. They lost their profit from us.

5 Stars not enough. Best food I have had in a long time. I had the special baked Cod which was outstanding. I want the recipe. My husband had pasta with seafood. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Seafood was plenty and very fresh. Our server was sweet and attentive. Even though she was handling a large group. She did not ignore us at all.Best Fathers Day Dinner ever.

They raised the price of the dinner from the menu price listed on line.. When I showed the clerk at cash register after paying the higher price he said in small print their prices are subject to change. I asked why he didnt change the prices on his online menu advertising? I prefer to see the correct price before I order and pay for it.

The food was amazing. Great portions and very tasty. Meatballs and Stromboli are worth the visit. We did take out and look forward to returning when we can fine inside.

Yesterday was my first time eating at Ginos. I was attending a luncheon after a funeral. the person who had passed away spent many memorable meals here with his wife. his son felt it was the perfect place to bring his fathers friends and family to remember his father. I was extremely impressed with the food!!! if i lived closer i would be there often. Im looking forward to the next time so i can explore the menu.

Ordered a white pizza and chicken cheese steak. So freaking good!! Only minor complaint is that the kalamata olives are a bit too strong for pizza, in my opinion.

Asked for a Caesar salad and it came out with the dressing on the side, ordered angel hair and got linguini. Pasta bowl full of water, diluted the sauce. Waitress was not into her job tonight.

We got there at 8:30 pm and they did not want to attend us. The restaurant was practically empty and according to their web page they close at 10pm.

I’ve eaten here twice. The first time was about a year ago and I absolutely loved it. My second time not so much. We ordered takeout, the soup was fantastic but I can’t say the same about my entree. I ordered the chicken parm, and I’m 99% certain that it was not made in house. The chicken had the taste, look, shape, and texture of store bought processed chicken. It was my first time trying the chicken parm, and I definitely would not order it again. I’m hoping it was a one time thing. Will order from here again and give it a 3rd chance, but I would avoid the chicken parm.

Our waitress was rude off the bat and she was extremely confused as to how to sub Alfredo sauce for red sauce. Also the menus were covered in food and dirty. We got our food and the veal was sitting in a puddle of what looked like white water and it was a soggy mess. For a first visit it will be my last. What a let down.

Really great food here! We also had motzerella sticks which were crispy yet gooey cheese!!! I only took a star off because the service, I dont think she wanted to be there. Not a smile or interest in us, we probably would have gotten more aptz if she didnt wait so long to come over and then waited u til after our aptz came out to take our order. so a bit of a wait but the food was reeeeally good!

Very Disappointed in our meal. We ordered Geno’s as a treat for our son hike from college who lives their food. We opted for takeout to mitigate my elderly father in law’s potential exposure to Covid. The experience was terrible - veal was dry and overdone. To make matters worse we didn’t receive part of our order - after my husband asked if he had everything. When we called ‘we could come pick it up’ (we live 25 mins away) not even an offer of a future credit was offered. Also, didn’t get the correct salad ordered. Seriously - who wants 3 hours old fries??? Very uncaring management.

The food was really good but I’m not completely happy with the service. We had a $150 takeout order and there was an item missing. I understand mistakes can happen but when I called to tell them I didn’t get an apology on the phone or one when I came in to get the missing item. They didn’t offer me anything for my inconvenience either. A simple apology could have made all the difference considering the restaurant was empty and my order was definitely big.

I had bake ziti with regota cheese & eggplant.. I was very good. I couldnt stop eating it. And was enough to bring some home.

First time eating here today and I really wish I had tried this place sooner. They have been around the Norristown area for about 40 years and now I know why. I ordered a custom chicken cutlet sandwich with sharp provolone, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and hot peppers. You can get a sandwich like this anywhere around Philly, but Ginos stands out! The rolls, the chicken, the veggies...all were of the highest quality and you could really taste it. They have a pretty robust menu with pizza and pastas, which Im sure are delicious and Ill be eventually trying. I highly recommend this place.

Ive dined in, had take out and a party at Ginos, all from their current location. Great salads, entrees, pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts. This is NOT fast food! Broccoli aglio e olio and abruzzi pizza favorites!

I dont go in here all that often, as its just a bit on the pricey side for me, but I have to admit, it is a nice place and a bit upscale from the average dining place in the area. Cant say Ive ever had a bad meal here. Usually have very generous portions. (I love their minestrone soup, btw.)A good way to measure the place is to watch the Italians from the neighborhood, who seem to love the place and provide a very loyal following night after night. These folks almost always come in with a bottle of wine under their arm, and then leave with a box of extra food from the big portions - thats the way to do this place.

Food was ok....cold to warm. Servers were very accommodating and helpful. We were part of a large party and they did not have enough space so we sat in a different room. Of the group of us were 9 children. The Servers made us feel special with the extra attention. Dessert was better than the entrees.

Dined on 9/25. Good service, the food was delicious. Traditional Italian cuisine, place was very clean. The atmosphere could use a little Italian music in the background. Overall, a very good experience every time. Definitely recommend

I went here with two friends and we all loved the place. The tables are far enough apart that you dont feel as though others are listening to your conversation. The food is excellent, service is superb, and they do not rush you out the door. Last of all it is a BYOB and who doesnt like that!

We came to join our group late. We had already eaten elsewhere so we ordered dessert and coffees. The Black and White Moose was delicious but the Apple Crumb Pie was just OK. The crumbs had a texture like they were kept somewhere too moist and the apple filling was almost flavorless. Maybe if they had warmed it up a bit it wouldve been better. The service was quite good so thats were the better marks come from. Overall, not a bad experience but the pie needs improvement.

I regret having found this gem of a restaurant a month before moving away from PA. The wings were full of taste and had lots of meat. The pasta was extremely flavorful and filling. I was amazed at the portion for the low price. Best part was seeing how the staff was very personable and even knew several patrons by name and asked about their families. Visit this restaurant and I can assure you, youll be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Ginos.The food was exceptional, plentiful and service was beyond good.Their gravy was extremely well put together and you knew that it wasnt from a can but was made the old fashioned way .Our server was helpful and extremely pleasant.Being new to the area she went out of her way to give my wife tips on shopping areas, much to my chagrin, and we will be back there often.The prices were more than reasonable and the portions were huge.

Food is good and plentiful. Nice staff. I have always gone with a group and someone else paid, so, cant comment on prices.

So let me just tell you a quick story.. So it all started started we got their we called ahead and paid for the special back groom away from the public seating as we were a big group and we wanted to speak to one another. So first they sit us at a straight table in public seating and then we had to talk to the head waiter to get us the right seating for about 15 minutes. Then we got into the right room and we got settled. It took them about 30 minutes for one waiter to come to our table and then another 2 hours and 30 minutes to get our food. I do not think the food was cooked properly as you could still taste the cooking alcohol that was not properly cooked off and the food was cold. Then we had desert this was probably the best timed it only took 15 minutes wait and we got what we wanted and thats what earned you the one star.

The best food ever but the servers was standoffish. Some of the ladies / servers was not smiling and friendly. You as a customer have to speak and said hi first. They need to up their game. I was love to go more often but the customer service is thumbs down. People love to be welcome with smile and leave with friendly good bye. Even when I payed for my food. The gentleman didnt say have a good day. Wow I wish I could gave this place a five star .

Have been coming to this restaurant for about 35 yrs. This location is their third, & largest! That almost says it all!!! The food is consistently exceptional in more than generous portions! Have introduced many friends to this restaursnt, & all have gone back! Food is always fresh, authentic, delicious, & reasonably-priced, especially for all you get! Almost impossible to leave without taking leftovers home to extend the enjoyment! Very unique specials! Owners are there doing the work everyday. EXCELLENT wait staff! What more could you want? Beware...Very busy Fri & Sat nights...suggest going early or later....

Whole family got sick. What true Italian restaurant serves frozen chicken patties & calls it chicken parm? The mozzarella sticks were the same. Food was terrible.

I enjoyed the place, the Italian dishes they have are really good and so are the portions you get. I love pizza and they have different types of pizza and i always bring a good bottle of wine. Chianti is my favorite with Italian food. The place is cosy enough and the service you get is great. Its not that expensive either. Theres parking and i like the hours they have. I try to go there at least every 2 weeks when Im in the area. My friends enjoy the place so its a easy choice to make.

Although the food was not bad (except what Italian place serves bread with BUTTER? WHERE IS THE OLIVE OIL?), the service is horrible. Its not welcoming and the hostess never seems to greet you right away.. often left standing there looking around thinking uh HELLO? (Yes, I have unfortunately been here about 5 or so times and its always the same) The prices are also pretty high for the atmosphere. Unless youre stuck with nowhere else to go, I would suggest another Italian place to dine.

Crazy busy. Food was good, not great. Good portions.

Service was really slow and it took forever to get the waitress to ask for our order. We paid $14 for a shrimp cocktail and we got 5 pieces of shrimp on a large plate of mostly lettuce. Honestly that was the worst $14 Ive ever spent. Pizza was good though.

The Italian food is awesome and the staff is wonderful. Ive been going there since my parents would take us for dinner and now I go there with my children (20 somethings) and they love it as much as I do. The only bad thing is I now live out of town and dont get a chance to go there much. My kids both love the gnocchi but Im crazy for the baked ziti with sausage and ricotta. This is a wonderful place for adults or families with children.

Our family came to Ginos to celebrate a birthday. It is BYOB Italian and the food was absolutely amazing from start to finish--the price was right! The crusty bread was delicious as was the generous portion of salad that was included with your entrée. Everyone was completely satisfied with their meal. The table servers were pleasant and attentive. We were permitted to bring in our own birthday cake, which the waitress brought to the table with candles lit and ready to serve. This is a great place for dinner or celebrating an event -- we will certainly return!

Wanted to try something different! Party of 3 all agree that just an average food with small portions. We are regulars of toscos n never going where else.

Great Pizza. They have great meals. I often go there for lunch for business. Truly Italian. Giacomo and Gaetano always goes out of his way to say a few words to me with a big smile. I think things like this make a difference.

Service was below average, food was served lukewarm. My drink was empty and the server looked at me twice, after socialize with another customer, still did not offer to refill my glass. She then came over to take my empty bread plate away, started to walk away and I still needed to ask for a refill. She took my glass and never came back with the refill. This was as I was 7/8 through my meal. Only two other tables being served (not busy). I had the combination and the sauce was very flavorful but served well below a desirable temperature.

Excellent quality and preparation of food for a very affordable price. I would like them to offer espresso for after dinner purchase.

Atmosphere is comfortable, bring your own bottle. Staff is nice. The food is good with very large portions, for a great price. My only problem was too much cheese on the eggplant parmesan. I would recommend this restaurant.

Ive eaten here before and wasnt disappointed, however they havent figured out that in order for food to arrive hot to the table requires warming the heavyweight plate. Otherwise it acts like a heat sink. I learned that 45 years ago in food service degree. I probably wont be back.
