This place is a great place to get your car serviced! They are always, always very nice, very informative, and discuss everything in detail if need be! I will always go back to this specific Mavis Tire!

This was the best customer service experience that I’ve ever received at a automotive repair shop. Dionne was great!They were able to fix the issue and have my car running back to normal. Were visiting the Philly end of the state from the Pittsburgh end of the state and uh-oh... my brakes started making that sound on 76. If youre hard on brakes, you know that sound. The Im gonna need rotors again sound. Mavis was near our hotel and the reviews were favorable so I popped in as soon at they opened to see if they could take a look. They couldnt get to it right away so I walked back to the hotel for a few hours. They called once they were able to get my van back and confirmed that it was brakes and rotors. From that point it was about two hours to get parts and do brakes, rotors, and fluid, and we still had time to make it to Valley Forge that day. No one wants to have car trouble while on vacation but Id say things turned out about as painless as I could hope for given the situation. And the price was actually a little less than my guy back home so that was a relief as well! Service was courteous and friendly and Im so glad they were able to fit me in.

I recently was at Mavis Discount Tire and had the best experience and service. Dionne at the front desk treated me like family as soon as I walked in and took care of everything seamlessly. My tire arrived on time and I was in and out. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I’ve been a customer at this Mavis location for four years for tire replacements and other routinely scheduled maintenance services. Their customer service has always been great, but today they went above and beyond. Dionne and Jose were wonderful to work with and they were able to fit me in on a very busy day for an emergency maintenance issue. I’m a customer for life.

I blew out the sidewall of my car yesterday and did a search of local tire shops in the area. Decided to give Mavis Discount since they were close and highly rated. Jermaine and Mr. Johnnys provided great customer service. I appreciate them accommodating their schedule to work on my car on short notice. It has been a long time since I’ve had genuinely GREAT customer service! Jose and Kevin could not have been nicer. I had a bit of an emergency, they took my car right in and evaluated the tire. The tire could not be repaired and the warranty is with another vendor. Jose did not charge me and was very understanding to the warranty. However, they have gained a new customer for oil changes and every other service they offer! Keep up the wonderful customer service, it is so refreshing to see! Thanks so much!

I used to go to this store for the convenience, as it is close to me and I was frequently treated very well by the guy at the reception.But the last few times I came back, it was just disappointment. I still tried to give a vote of confidence, for the good treatment I received, because sometimes one failure or another can happen. But it was not the case. All last 4 visits were very bad. The employee who used to attend to me doesnt seem to be there anymore. And other servers are terrible. The issues I reported were unresolved and I was told they didnt find anything. In the invoice came services that I did not hire and I was not even asked whether I wanted them to perform the services or not. And the only service I requested was poorly done. I came back 3 days later and another guy, very rudely, wanted me to pay again for the same service that was poorly done. A simple alignment left the steering wheel askew.After that I took the car for inspection, and that day, a Tuesday, they dont do this service. So I came back a few days later and they were already full, so I tried to make an appointment for the following days and the employee told me that for this type of service it was not necessary to make an appointment. So I came back the next day, at the first hour as he had recommended me and another employee, very rudely said he would not do the inspection because I had not scheduled. I questioned him saying that the day before I was there to make an appointment and was told me that no appointment was necessary (Why the guy said that to me? Was he too lazy to schedule?). And he said it was impossible, and that I should have booked. He didnt even bother trying to listen to me. Dont waste your time going to this place. The service and quality have plummeted. There are much better options nearby.

For the reviews I saw where people were accommodated on short notice (walk-ins), guess this does not apply to a woman who caught a flat tire with child in the car. I understand she did not have an appointment, but things happen to people when we least expect it. To basically turn her away and leave her on her own in 100 degree heat is ridiculous! Wont be returning to this location or any others to give them my business anymore.

We were on vacation and started having bad brake noises. Mavis was close to our hotel and could fit us in that day so we had minimal disruption to our trip. Reasonably priced and the staff was very nice

Been meaning to review for a while because Ive had so many positive experiences here. Would highly recommend. They even found problems with my van that the dealership missed. They definitely go the extra mile. Jose was especially helpful and kind. Speedy and reliable service.

I very rarely review anything, but feel compelled because of how nice these men were on several occasions. The gentlemen here have been super friendly, kind and courteous. I forget the name of one of the gentlemen working the front desk one of the times I have stopped by here, but Jose was so honest and reassuring. They’ve taken me out to their work area to specifically show what was wrong with my car and they have taken the time out of their schedule to fit me in to inspect a noise or smell I may have been anxious about. Could not talk more highly of them, as normally I have not had the best experiences with other chain-like locations. Definitely trust them to be honest and give their honest opinion (which is rare as some people try talking you into fixing something or paying extra for items not needed).

Saw this place had the best reviews in the area. Made a reservation online for Sunday 9am state inspection two days before. Got a confirmation by email. Sunday, I drove an hour and arrived on time. Receptionist pleasantly told me they cannot do an inspection because they ran out of stickers and suggested to reschedule. Why couldnt I have received a phone call to save me the time and frustration having to rush to find another place before friends arrived to pick me up? Luckily, the Firestone 10 min away squeezed me in and were able to complete my inspection within 1.5 hours.

They were great! Very courteous and quick to fix my car. I will be back.

Please stay away. I can’t believe I had to experience this. I went there on a Sunday and I knew I had a nail in my tire. I waited over 2 hours to be told that they couldn’t remove the nail because the nail was on the side of the tire. I knew it wasn’t. They said I needed new tires and claim how dangerous it is to drive like that. I took my car elsewhere and they patch my tire right away. Stay away, they just want to take your money.

Service manager explained my situation nicely and was able to understand him. He contacted me as he said he would and was timely, professional and will return when needed again. Also, the waiting room and also the inside of the bay looked very tidy and clean. Thank you.

I was told to drop my car off at 5pm to have tires put on and get an alignment. After I didnt hear back from them after 2 and half hours (7:30 pm) I rode up there and my car was in the exact same spot as when I had left it. I asked the guy what was going on and he said it hasnt been done yet. I asked him why he scheduled me for an appointment if he couldnt do the work? He assured me my car was up next even though they closed in less than an hour. I pulled away, about 15 minutes later they called to tell me they couldnt get my lug nuts off to do the work. Little do they know I work with mechanics and they got my tires off without any issues and didnt use a gun to get them back on. They didnt want to do the work. This place is an unprofessional joke!

Extremely easy oil change experience! Jose communicated that it may take longer than expected due to them being short-handed that day, and was very apologetic (not even necessary!). My car was done by early afternoon and was very cheap compared to other shops Ive been to. I definitely will be back in the future!

Jose and Bob were fantastic! The best customer service I have ever received getting an oil change. While I was waiting a woman walked in with a small child. They had to wait for their car to get done, Jose changed the channel on the TV to a kids channel, without anyone asking. Now that is thinking about your customers. Even though its out of my way, I will definitely be back at Mavis for my car needs.

I was at the Wawa down the street from Mavis and I had a flat tire. We called Mavis and it was about 6:10PM and they close at 6PM. We spoke to Jose and I am glad he was working tonight. He said if I can make it over there, he can change the tire for me. After he took off the tire he noticed that the stem was not in correctly. He fixed it and the car was good to go. I asked him for a total and he said not to worry about it. I have been to Mavis before and they have always taken care of me but now I will make it a point to go to see Jose when I have an issue. Whoever is his boss, give him a raise. Thanks Jose and Mavis!

Very poor quality service. Couldn’t find a tire air leak after taking it there multiple times and being told there was nothing wrong. Another place found the leak in a couple minutes and fixed it immediately.

UPDATE 06/10/21: Mavis corporate got in touch with me and fully refunded me for the tire and the 4x tire warranty within a few days; they were very nice and professional. So five starts for Mavis corporate customer service, one star for the Egypt Rd location. Ill bump this to two to reflect that.Ordered a replacement tire through them that was supposed to be covered under one-year manufacturer road hazard warranty. Original tire order was canceled and nobody notified us so wasted time with a first trip for nothing. Came back Thursday and they refused to honor the manufacturer road hazard warranty. Said to take it up with Hankook; Hankook says they are supposed to honor the manufacturer road hazard warranty. Claimed that I had to have bought the tire at Mavis, basically just confusing their own road hazard warranty for Hankooks manufacturer road hazard warranty; when I tried to explain this, the manager, Jose, refused to verify the info on the Hankook website that I was looking directly at. The original rep we talked to also claimed initially they were a Hankook tire dealer and then the shop went back on that claim later. Here is the language from Hankooks website, nothing about the tire needing to be ordered and replaced at original point of purchase. Jose told me to go through Hankook, Hankook says to go through Mavis, so basically Im being told to go eff myself. Clearly everything in the chain of communication here is totally messed up and Im out $150 with no recourse but to write a negative review. I guess its *possible* that in complicated world of tire warranty bureaucracy Im somehow in the wrong, or maybe everyone who works at Mavis is just incompetent and uninformed. Whatever the case, bad experience and my wallet is empty. Dont go here unless you want to get the run around, deal with bad communication, and ultimately get fleeced. Edit: re: the claim that were not a Hankook dealer — heres another screencap, they are listed on the Hankook website as a Hankook dealer. The rep told me when I first called that they were a Hankook dealer. When I told this to Jose he said I dont know who you talked to. I feel like Im being driven slowly mad here.

Got a flat and they were able to squeeze me in today. I left my car there and they were done in 3 hours which was really quick for me just calling out of the blue. José was so nice and funny, great customer service.

Definitely earned a new customer for life right here. One other thing, I saw Jose help out members of the community, provide advice and guidance through out the entire time i was there. Made an inspection Appointment with Jose for a Wednesday and was told it would take a couple of hours if I wait. Thats not to bad so I took the morning off work to do this then I get a call that the person who does inspections isnt going to be in that day now. Thats time off work Im not getting back so Jose rescheduled for Sunday and I showed up bright and early ( the first person ). After 4 hours of waiting I asked how much longer and was told at least another two hours probably more. You would think they would want to do right by me after I took the entire morning off from work for the ( two hour inspection ) and lost that PTO. I explained this to the person at the counter who did nothing and offered nothing so I left.

I love bringing my car here. In the past I have always expected mechanics to tell me I need a new engine when bringing my car in for a new tire. but since the first time I brought my car to Mavis they have been upfront about what is needed, good prices, friendly service, quality work. I will be bringing my car here for now on.

My battery died in the Home Depot parking lot. Jose came out, jumped started my car, and back at Mavis, he installed a new battery...all in about an hour. Great service!!! I have had my car inspection there on several occasions, and have been treated fairly. Thank you Mavis! ...and Jose!

This place has incredible service. I needed brakes for my Jeep during the US election of all days. They were able to get me in and out in no time at all. Jose explained everything that was needed for my SUV and was very professional. They even gave me a deal with my rotors. I cannot say it enough, these guys are worth going to see for car trouble. When you can trust a mechanic with your vehicle, you keep them.

This was first time at this location ( I usually visit Bala Cynwyd where the service is great! (Kevin). Since I was doing business here, I decided to get my oil changed and Jose and crew took care of my car. He double checked what type of oil I needed ( even though it was already in the history) and I was able to walk in and out within 2 hours and without issue. Really appreciate the hospitality and service.

I moved to the area in January and had been still driving back to West Chester for car services. One day on my way to work, my tire pressure light came on. I called a few places and they said no one had time to look at them. I called Mavis and Jose said to come on by and he would take a look right away! I was able to get on my way to work quickly thanks to Jose. Since then, I have gone back for state inspection and battery change. Jose is very kind, professional, and helpful! If you are someone who really doesn’t know much about cars, you can go here and trust they’re not scamming you.

So far so good. Quick service, fixed my flat. A day or two will tell if the patch worked.

I had a scheduled oil change at 8am when they opened. I didnt get out of there until after 9. They didnt seem very organized at all. It seems they did a bunch of other investigative items also. I just wanted my oil changed. I just had my car inspected not long ago so there was no need for all of the extra time to take off my tires to check brakes. They didnt even put a reminder sticker on my windshield for the next oil change.

Would not look at my car even though there was 2 hours before closing. Also was handed a mask even though it was just me and the employee in the entire building. Very rude and unnecessary.

Dionne and Jose helped me out last minute getting a new tire before they closed.

Mavis is the place to go when you tires pick up road trash. Nails and screws can change your days plans. Mavis repaired my tire and off I went to my normal routine. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent.

I would totally recommend this place!!I found a great deal on tires online and bought them from that company (not Mavis). I called Mavis and got a call center who gave me a coupon for $10 off each tire to install. I set an appointment and brought the tires to this Mavis and had them mount and balance them. They were very helpful, courteous (I dont need them to be courteous, I need them to tell me how it is and be honest...Im a big boy, I can handle it). But they were totally cool, told me I need to replace the valves and recommended I have them check the alignment (the alignment check was free). They called me, checked in with me and recommended the alignment, they proved it to me by showing me the results. I got 4 tires mounted, balanced, new valves and an alignment for $200. They will also rotate the tires for me every 5K miles for the life of the tires for free. I dont see how I could have gotten better service or a better deal anywhere else!I was here about a year and a half ago for a flat repair. They were great, got me right in, and handled it.

The service guy at front desk was very helpful. I believe his name is Joe. He showed me a part that I would need for my head light and even took the extra step to show me where I could most likely find that part to order from at a cheaper price compared to the dealers price.
