Was in the area for work when all my dashboard lights came on. Art told me to come by and checked out the car diagnostics for me. He was very nice and informative and told me it was safe to drive home (since I didn’t have time to leave the car to get fixed there). Highly recommend this shop!

I can’t express how amazing my experience was at Art & Mark’s. I was greeted by Art upon arrival and notified him of my problem after being sent there by CarMax. They pulled my car right in and diagnosed the issue and contacted my warranty provider even though it was not the easiest task to get through to them. I had an issue with my engine intake where my car would not accelerate and there was loss of power as well as my check envy light was on. I had to stick around because live over an hour away and Art notified me that would be no problem. They had my parts delivered in what seemed like 15 minutes and had me back on the road within an hour. I had never heard of this shop prior but I know this is where I will be going from now. I like to again thank Art for accommodating me and taking care of my issue as well as Austin for working on my car and getting me back on the road in no time. You guys are very much appreciated. They werent able to help me but they did point me in the right direction and explain to me what needs to be looked at so I do appreciate that they didnt just try to take advantage they still offered help even if they werent the ones to be able to deliver it

It was my first time using Art and Mark’s Automotive - I chose them because reviews indicated honest, reliable service - we needed an oil change, annual inspection and a trailer hitch installed. Art was so responsive to my appointment request and happy to help me. After dropping the car off, Art called with bad news - engine/fuel injection system was bad - indicated that it is a manufactured defect and suggested I reach out to my dealer. He could have easily taken my 1500 for the repair but wanted to ensure I (a new customer) was well cared for. He clearly explained the issue, provided all the documentation which I then took to my dealer and they made the repairs at no cost to me. Very impressed with Art and Mark’s!! Great experience and highly recommend!!

The reviews for these guys do not lie! I just moved to the area from TN and it is always stressful trying to find a reliable, honest, and fair mechanic! My car was having issues so I was nervous with finding a shop that would be able to get me in and out right away. I used Nextdoor and Google reviews and ultimately made an appointment with Art & Marks Auto. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning online, which was incredibly convenient considering it was after hours by the time I could call! I dropped the car off with a summary of my issues, and by 12 pm the following day, the car was done and ready for pickup. They also texted the final price which I really appreciated. When I arrived, they were so friendly, explained everything that was done in full detail, and also provided tips to help prevent issues in the future! I received a printed receipt that broke down all of the services/prices, which you do not always get from local mechanics! Believe all of the reviews -- they are definitely a rare gem in the world of mechanics!!

This place is great. They are responsive, quick, and polite. They even sent me a thank you card after my first time using their services- how great is that?! Very appreciated. They also sent me a discount card on one service this year. I will go here as long as I drive.

By far the the worst car repair company in norristown, Art attitude is beyond horrible and nasty, customer service is trash. Wouldnt take my bike there to get repairs. Not even sure how this company has so many good reviews when the initial phone conversation, would make you think you did something personally to the shop “owners” workers.

Best place to take your vehicle for service.

The alternator in my car failed when I was 0.9 miles from Art & Marks, but I was able to coast to their shop, park the car, and leave a note on it asking for their help (on a Sunday). When they opened the next morning, they replaced the alternator and recharged the battery, and I was able to pick up the car that evening.Though I never met either Art or Mark, I am impressed with the work their shop did, and would easily recommend them to anyone.Thank You Art and Mark.

Ive gone to these guys for years. Honest guys that will give you fair recommendation. They dont try to hard sell you on things you dont need yet, but also make sure you know what needs done. Ive never had a problem with their work in 20+ years of going there.

The most horrid first impression Ive had of any mechanic in my life. Ill start by saying I heard good things about these people, especially Arts work, and Im sure he is a good mechanic, but in speaking to him once on the phone I will never choose to find out. I own a rare Japanese tuner from the 90s. A 60 thousand dollar vehicle of the time of which I have not only done all repairs and maintenance on my own, but modifications as well. She never needs to see a shop for this reason. Recently a worn brake pad came into the mix and sadly with current weather patterns and a current lack of garage, I found it better to call some places for this work to keep my life on schedule. I called many mechanics and sadly Art stuck himself out like a sore thumb as the worst option in town...Our conversation lasted only a brief time before rudely being told to find another shop.Before I could even explain my situation as I have inspected my girls issue, I was told how difficult it was to give a quote on front end brakes. Funny that no other shop told me this? I then went to explain the issue is with a worn pad and therefore the rotors and was cut off to be told about the calipers and other things of which I informed him beyond the regular work and adjustments with the new parts are fine. I was then told about the age of my vehicle effecting this job, which may be true of a neglected older vehicle, but not a maintained show car that faced less than 1 year outside of a garage and was then given the areas highest price quote. As I went to explain simply what I have inspected on her the other day, as to just explain the situation to him, I was cut off to be told Well I guess me and you just differ on how to repair cars and you should find another shop in the most snide and rude voice I have heard from any respectable business owner... I was glad to oblige, take my girl to a shop who took a few minutes to listen to me and quoted a more reasonable price for the same work as well as telling me what brand parts would be used...Art, you might do great work, but youll see no recommendation from me to any of my friends or family in this area with an attitude that comes across as You dont know what your talking about with your car, I dont want to listen to you and Ill talk down to you like a child if you dare to tell me anything about your vehicleThis is why I do my own work. I cant speak to their quality of work.Their customer service in less than a brief conversation has to be the WORST in the business and thats what I will say about that...

If I could give 0 star, I wouldve.I felt really uncomfortable at his attitude. He was old, like white haired old.I walked in, due to my headlights were busted.I asked, Hello, how much is the cost of fixing headlights?And then he yelled at me like I was his child, or his student or something.He got so angry about my question... I was asking about money I am going to pay for their services and parts...... Whaaaaaa?Is it wrong that I asked for a price? I was confused. He was telling me how his price is fair and was yelling at me that I am comparing prices and all. Well. duh obviously I am going to compare prices, but even before that, I want to know how much I am going to pay for this. Is that really WRONG to ask?Jesus, I am never going here again. I am not sure if I got unlucky on getting there when he was angry, or if he just doesnt like my kind of people or it is just simply wrong on asking prices... But no.Go here if you dont care how much it is, because he is freaking proud of his fair prices and gets offended if you ask beforehand.But I was offended and felt extremely uncomfortable. No more.
