Great service each time we visit. I was very happy to finally meet Dr. Anderson in person. I’ve spoken to her and her friendly techs only by phone because of the pandemic. I know my dog is in great hands and will get the best care at Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge. I also appreciate the email and text appointment reminders :)
Plenty of parking, desk staff were able to help me get checked in right away, gave them all the paperwork from my pets last veterinarian and they entered it into their system right away, returned my documents, staff came in right away and asked my pets condition. Doctor came in very soon after and discussed pets diet and vaccinations including feline leukemia. Staff and doctor were very gentle with all my pets and were even able to handle the surly one enough to get a blood test. Explained everything I would need to do to follow up on the booster shots in 3 weeks time. Helped me back to my car with the pet carriers. Ever since my last vet died Ive been worried about finding another place, but Im glad I found Companion of Norridge and would recommend them highly to any pet owner.
This is the second time I had to take my dog to companion animal hospital! The veterinarians are very informative and wonderful and take the time to explain everything to you. The vet techs are also very helpful. Every time I have gone there I leave there very happy and comfortable that my dog was in good hands.
While you can find vets that offer lower prices for procedures or medicine; this office is so caring and professional. My dog is always happy and wagging her tail when we show up and when we leave. They took great care of her when we got her spayed here and the follow up was awesome as well. I’m willing to pay a little extra for the great care I know my pet will receive. I even had a minor emergency for a skin problem for my dog and they were able to see me same day! Highly recommend!
I brought my 10 year old dog here today as a new client for vaccinations and exam. The staff was friendly. The technicians were great with my large, nervous dog. The doctor took her time earning his trust before examining him. He has major anxiety issues and is being treated for that as well. The whole experience was positive for me and my dog. The office is a 10 minute walk from my home so I am very happy about that too.
My dog has happy tail and needed urgent treatment. My vet in Michigan couldn’t take care of it for three weeks ( don’t worry, I’m finding a new vet after this) so I called the office of best veterinarian I know. Dr. Hammer is no longer seeing patients, but is doing surgeries at Companion. They were able to get my pup scheduled within a few days from the day I called, and after the doctor took one look, he created a treatment plan and Dr. Hammer agreed to fit him in the schedule to remove the portion of my pups tail that had developed necrosis. Within several hours we were back on the road to Michigan and he woke up this morning with the voracious appetite he had previous to this tail problem. I highly recommend Companion AH of Norridge, most of all for the skilled surgeon they have in Dr. Hammer. Thank you everyone at Companion for taking such good care of me and my pup. You went above and beyond to help us in this desperate situation. You can’t put a price on love. We rescued this pup from a kill-shelter and promised to give him the best life we can. You all helped us achieve this goal.
The staff noticed my need to see the vet and were terrific in finding room for my dog to get examined! The Vet I saw was super duper terrific in the exam and explaining things to me. They have a great staff and great doctors! You cant go wrong in taking your pets to see them.
The staff is very professional and efficient. April, the tech that handled my girls, Coco and Lexi, is very personable and welcoming. Lexi doesnt warm up easily to strangers but she was fine with April. Dr. Tymoszuk is very knowledgeable and explained things clearly to me. He was also very patient with my questions which I had lot and he really took time to address my concerns.
Do not bring your pet to Dr. Hammer. Extremely unprofessional and unprepared. Had not read our dogs chart or CT scan results before an appointment he was 30 minutes late for. My girlfriend and I had to walk out. This is the first negative review ive written for anything ever. It was that terrible of an experience.
Companion has taken care of all our pups for over 5 years. Their compassion, attention to detail, transparency, and honesty is like none I have ever seen. They really stepped it up recently. Our poor Husky was in bad shape, had to take her to the ER. When we called our doctor at Companion, even though booked for weeks, they understood the severity of our issue and made time and did an emergency surgery, which saved our dogs life. I love this hospital!
I was able to get an appointment for my little cat the following day. Dr. Scott was wonderful, she answered all my questions and after talking to her I felt better about how I’d been caring for my cat. She explained what was going on with her and was very patient and attentive.
I started coming to Companion Animal Hospital when my original AH could not schedule surgery during April 2020 due to the influx of surgeries they were dealing with. We have not gone back to our original vet since. They take such good care of our dogs and I appreciate the time and attention they give my pet. I originally schedule annual shots but I noticed a change on my dog’s behavior. The appointment was originally with a technician but they were able to make arrangements for us to see a vet instead, which I appreciated. Dr. Anderson and her team at Companion AH in Norridge are the best!
4 different friends recommended this practice. I brought my 6 mo German shepherd mix. I was so happy. They gave my dog treats instead of restraining him. The vet and assistants were so kind and helpful. My dog is in great hands and he is happy and looking forward to next time!
The best doctors and staff! Brought my dog that has severe anxiety and he was sick. The staff here goes above and beyond to make the whole experience comfortable for him! They are the absolute best and very thorough checking all blood work and doing xrays to figure out what is wrong. Thank you so much to all the staff at companion animal hospital!
My first visit with Dr Anderson with a 15 year old diabetic cat who is having issues. The appointment was thorough and I felt confident with the advice given. I am hoping they can help her regain her strength.
Have been going to this veterinarian for more than 12 years bringing my doggies and love how they’re so professional but also empathetic. They will handle your pup with love.
This was my second time there. The staff was very friendly and kind. The dr was awesome and super friendly to my self and my cat. Loved her enthusiasm.
Dr. Murray is wonderful. She is so responsive and helpful! Dr. Scott is great too! They have gotten my dog in on an emergency basis way more than once. They are so good about talking with you not only about what they are doing and spend a lot of time answering questions. I highly recommend both their veterinary services and their grooming services. My dog LOVES his groomer and she does a great job!
I have nothing bad to say about CAH. Dr. Krystek basically saved my dog by knowing exactly what she needs. He saved me time and hassle. They also take in my dog on emergencies and find time in their busy schedule for her.Im thankful for their kindness with my dog and their professionalism. Highly recommend with no hesitation
Our appointment was our first appointment we had with Companion, and we could have not been happier. Everyone from the first phone call to make the appointment to the actual visit, was very knowledgeable and professional. I know that Astrid would be in great hands in our future with Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge. Thank you!
Dr. Hammer is the best veterinarian I ever had a chance to meet. Hes been taking care of my dogs health since he was a 3 month old puppy, and I think he just saved his life this week through accurate diagnosis, and then quickly performed surgery. He also always been giving a reasonable prices for all of the services, along with the good advise, and understanding of the individual situation of the pet owner.
Very nice vet clinic. Staff is friendly and response quickly. Was able to request an appointment online which is great and got a quick response. Like this place a lot. Havent taken advantage of all the services they provide but its great to have a place like this in the neighborhood
This was my first visit for my new puppy. The front staff were clear and checked us in right away. Dr Anderson was very welcoming and professional. She answered all my questions and throughly explained the next steps. I highly recommend this vet for any pet.
I am so happy that I found this vet. I had called a different place that was much closer to home but they had appointments that were available in 3 weeks when I needed something available today basically. I was able to make an appointment for the very next day after I called. Their prices are not the best but acceptable. Just a little high, at least I think. High based on what Id like to pay, maybe more comparable to other places, I dont know because I havent done the research and I wont be because I will be staying with this animal Hospital based on my experience with them with my dog today. They were very helpful, very nice, very informative and explained everything, listen to many many questions from me and answered every last one of them, provided a lot of information, and were friendly the whole time. The worst part of it was that it had to be a curbside appointment so that my dog had to go in without me. Thats not their fault, thats covids fault.
I go to a different vet but they stopped selling the Chicago Dog Friendly Area tags. I came to Companion to purchase this tag and WOW all the staff were extremely kind, patient, and helpful. Even though I am only purchasing a small tag from them, they still had amazing customer service!
I take all my dogs here and they have been wonderful with all of them. All I have to do is say my name and they know who I am. I dont trust anyone with my babies but CAH I do
They were able to suggest alternatives when they couldn’t get my puppy in and he was able to get on a wait list.
I was referred here by a colleague of mine who raved about their puppy package. I recently got two doberman puppies and was looking for a close, experienced vet clinic. One of my dobermans woke up one morning and was constantly throwing up. I was able to secure an emergency appointment here where they evaluated him (X-rays and blood work). The vet who saw him stated that she did not see any obstruction in his intestines but warned me that he had a high enzyme that is directly related to digestion. She administered a shot which was suppose to stop him from throwing up and sent us home with an antibiotic and probiotic... the bill cost was $695. Immediately arriving home that day, my pup threw up. I called the vet, who related that she had the on site surgeon review his X-rays who also confirmed that there was no obstruction at this time. They informed me that the medication needs some time to work but if he throws up over night, I should take him to the ER. Unfortunately, my pup did throw up... a trip to the ER confirmed there was a clear obstruction in my pups small intestine. Urgent surgery was needed. It was later revealed that my pup had swallowed a whole rope toy. It’s unclear to me how an experienced vet AND a surgeon at Companion Animal Hospital failed to see a whole rope toy in my pups intestine. It’s also unclear to me how an obstruction can form within 24hrs of his last vet visit. Needless to say, these vets are not experienced and lack the basic knowledge for health care. I will not be taking my pups here moving forward. If you love your pet like family; and they don’t seem to be acting their usual self, my advise is to cut out the middle man and take them somewhere else... you might actually save money.(Update - Since I can’t reply to responses)Your practice is literally called “Companion Animal HOSPITAL”. This practice clams to be a hospital but yet lacks the basic resources to have conducted an ultrasound. You might want to consider changing your name and branding to reflect the capabilities your practice is more in-line to providing to its patients. Furthermore, I could see if the obstruction was small but as stated in my previous comment, it was a whole rope toy (Knots and all). As I related to Dr Murray over the phone, it’s not that I don’t believe she (and the surgeon; from whom she got a second opinion from) did not see the obstruction... my concern is that BOTH supposedly “highly trained doctors” here failed to see the whole toy. Yet, when I provided copies of the x-rays to the doctor at the ER 24 hrs later, he related that he could make out what looked to be the obstruction. My point here is that your practice hires doctors that lack the basic knowledge to treat AND diagnose the patients that your customers highly entrust you to do. That’s why I do not trust your practice with the life and well being of my pup.
Dr. Kung is an excellent Vet. She takes good care of my dog Snowball. She focuses on his overall health.
I took my cat Daisy there because she was in failing health. Dr. Scott and the staff were so comforting and I had to make the unfortunate decision to let her go. They were great in making her transition as easy and as humane on her and on me. I will never forget them for this.
I have been taking my cat to CAH for about a year and a half -since he was a kitten. They have been wonderful to us from the start. All of the staff is friendly and responsive. They have made our appointments easy, even during covid. Definitely recommend!
Dr. Scott is my dog’s primary vet and is incredibly friendly and helpful and every technician takes great care of him whenever we show up.
Brought my feline in for her annual. Very pleased with Companion Animal Hospital. Practicing Covid-19 Guidelines, upon arriving I telephoned and they informed me that they would call as soon as Doctor would be available. They came out to and got my pet.My Dr is Tomasz Krystek he telephoned me to give me an update and informed me of what was going on with my pet and instructions for follow-up.Everyone that is employed there seems to be wonderful and compassionate in their field.Meow Meow, Mattie concurs
My dog gets very anxious at the vet. The staff were very kind and patient with him. Im so glad to have found them.
Our 10 year old dog Lester blew out his knee in April and required TPLO surgery. Dr Hammer (who has taken great care of our dogs over the years) came through for us again by performing the procedure which appears to have been a remarkable success. There was a recovery period for several weeks, but Lester is now walking without the terrible pain he was experiencing immediately following his injury. He is sure footed and has regained that spring in his step which I havent seen for a long time. I cant Thank Dr. Hammer and the entire hospital staff enough for taking care of our little buddy. The surgery has made all the difference is his quality of life.
I will never recommend Companion in Norridge to anyone. I think Dr. Hammer is a great vet so I stayed with the practice when it was taken over by Companion. I questioned why I kept having to bring my dog back every 3-4 months for almost a year when they could have tried the Apoquel which solved his allergy immediately. Each visit cost me $50 - $100. I have no experience when comparing their prices to other vets, but they are definitely not the cheapest. It seems like theres no question of the amount of money services cost when they recommend something. I understand prices go up, but since Companion is part of a corporation, theres a push to string out recheck appointments, refer to specialists. The last straw is the fact that on June 17th 2021, I cant accompany my dog into the office for blood draw, immunizations. All of Illinois, which is one of the strictest in the U.S. is in Phase 5. The technician bore the brunt of my frustration stating some corporate policy hasnt changed. This is completely ridiculous when I can accompany my human child to the pediatrician, but I cant stay with my elderly, anxiety ridden dog. Seems like its just a grift to not have to deal with Pet owners. Take our money and see you at the door. I think you can find comparable vets with competitive pricing that can care for your dog or pet. If money is no issue, and you dont have a problem not staying with your pet during a visit, then Im sure youll enjoy the updated lobby and exam rooms from the outside .
Dr Anderson is amazing and all the staff is so wonderful with our animals. Our 2 year old dog kept gaining weight even after months of weight management food and limited feeding. Dr Anderson recommended blood tests that helped us discover her problem was not food but an under productive thyroid. Roxy is now on a lifetime prescription which has amazingly brought her weight down and given her back her puppy energy. They truly care about the animals and the animals have no problem being handed off to them.
I come here for the lovely veterinarians. The vets are attentive and caring! However, the staff could improve their communication. Or maybe more staff support needs to be hired. Theyre always busy because theyre the best!
We love Companion! They take the best care of our senior girl, Sunny. We love all the docs but Dr. Hammer gets a special shout out for all the help he’s given our family to let Sunny live a long, happy life with us.
I have always had good experiences with my dog even though the little guy can be quite feisty to say the least.
Companion is the best animal hospital I have ever come across. My dog and I moved to Chicago from Virginia in March of 2020 we have been to plenty of vets in chicago as well as outside of this area and they are the best I have come across. All the employee are very nice, answer all questions to the best of their ability and if they dont know something they will point you into the direction of where you can get the answer. They communicate very well and make sure you understand everything. My dog recently received TPLO surgery here and so far it has been a successful recovery. I thought it would be hard because my dog is a tripod but this surgery has been very helpful and this animal hospital has been right here for us every step of the way. I strongly recommend this hospital for anyone looking for a consistent vet. The prices for this vet are also fairly low compared to others of quality in the area.
Dr. Anderson has always taken great care of my dog. As a result, my pet willingly walks inside each time with no fear, or concern.
Had my cats in for a checkup. Dr. Anderson and staff are caring, professional and just good people.
Love Companion and the entire staff. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Hope to meet them in person some day. I await the day I can accompany my dog in for his appointments and not just drop off at the door. With that being said until that happens I hope they get more staff manning the phones. I realize it’s overwhelming at times and very busy but my hold time has been ridiculous then there has been times I have waited 10mins on hold to speak to someone then been disconnected... very frustrating.
We just moved into the area and had to call in for a last minute appointment, and Companion was able to accommodate immediately. The staff was extremely friendly upon arrival and the doctor went in depth with the explanations for my dogs treatment. I am very pleased with the service, and we will likely make Companion my dogs main vet.
The team here is amazing! They are so compassionate and truly love animals. Anytime I go in my pups are greeted by some amazing techs, namely Stacie, and I know that my pups are in good hands. Even when we moved out to the burns we continued to come here. Simply the best!!!
We have been taking our dog to Companion for almost 10 years. The staff and vets genuinely care about our family member’s health and we’ll being.
They are so professional and kind to my pet. I appreciate their kindness and honesty. Thank you so much.
Do NOT take your pet here... They will not help you when you need it most. My dog who is a patient of Companion for 10 years was denied care... Called multiple days in a roll for an available appointment due to him throwing up and having diahrrea but they did not take him which led to severe dehydration and almost death. We took him to Premier ER and the stay ended up costing us over $6,000.. Thanks Companion for showing us that they dont even care about our pets... All 4 of our dogs are never going to your clinic again!!!!
Great staff. Always kind and compassionate. The best place to bring your pet.
I took my dog here for the first time today she was sick . Everyone was super kind and answer all of my questions for pricing . The doctor kept me inform on my pet how she was doing and also explain everything in detail asked me if I had any questions, also told me to call her back to know update on my dog . The best part of all is how much did they treat out little girl . Happy beyond words and extremely grateful that I was able to schedule something last minute . Definitely recommend you to take your pet here you will not be disappointed .
Even with “Covid Curbside,” my interactions with all of the employees have been excellent. The office staff have been patient and helpful, the vet technicians have been sympathetic and offer important feedback, and the Doctors have stayed on the phone with me as long as I needed to answer all my questions. They are busy, but worth the wait.
Honestly I couldn’t be anymore thankful for this staff for squeezing us in last minute to check my cat’s throat after choking on Monday night that brought us into Medvet which needed a follow up, and with covid it’s hard to see a vet right away, and you guys were completely available to see us within 2 hrs of calling!!!!A lot of my concerns were answered by the vet as well as ruling out a lot of other things.Just wanted to say thank you everyone for being super nice and extremely helpful. Evil Knievel and I are beyond thankful!
Dr. Pawel (thats his first name) is great. He has the patience of a saint, explaining everything thoroughly. He made us feel at ease during a very stressful time. I highly recommend him. I dont recall the names of the tech or front desk person, but they, too, were great. Also, we left a message before the office opened to come in earlier, and they texted me a response within minutes. Highly recommended.
My experience here was great. My six week old kitten scratched his eye and the vet took amazing care of my Charli. They also ran a bunch of tests that showed my cat had other problems I wasn’t even aware of. I am very grateful. Service was very quick and very efficient! 10/10 recommend!!!
Companion Animal Hospital has made the process of losing out beloved dog Adam the best experience under the circumstances. From the initial phone conversation with them and every process in between, everyone has been beyond professional, and sympathetic towards our loss. The best and most surprising part was receive a card in the mail days after picking up the cremation ashes. The condolence card was signed by all staff and doctor. They prove to go above and beyond in providing great quality service. There’s no doubt that your pets are in great hands here. Thank you guys!
The Dr and team were extremely accommodating in seeing my dog, Lucy, who was not previously a client. They went above and beyond to take care of her and answer my questions.
I brought my high anxiety, fear aggressive dog, Mitch here. The experience was the best I’ve ever had at any vet. Not one, but TWO vet technicians helped me calm him and get him in the door. I’ve never met such nice people. They are professional and KNOWLEDGEABLE in methods to help dogs like this get through their visit. I was in tears of all the help I received! No sedatives used. Just the comfort “hug” they call it and some good pets. The vet, himself was fantastic - very informative of their process over the phone while I waited outside (covid-19 protocol), the lady who took my payment information was even polite and kind. True COMPASSION and support is what I received here as a pet owner. I will never go anywhere else. My pup was taken care of and in the best hands!
My puppy Sasha was scratching her ear incessantly. Having had a previous dog many years ago go def from ear mites after incessantly scratching and following a different vets advice, I called Companion & booked the earliest appointment I could, 3 days away. After seeing her scratching increase, I was worried about her breaking the skin with her claws & causing an infection. I called Companion back and explained how I was concerned and they made schedule room for her that day! She saw the vet, they prescribed the medication and my Sasha is a happy pup again! COMPANION ROCKS!!
Dr. Anderson was very wonderful and compassionate. She took good care of my cat Lucky. I highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital
I had a really great first time experience. I didn’t have to wait a long time to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, my pet was taken in right on time. The doctor called me about 15 minutes after he thoroughly examined my pet with his recommendations for treatment. I was very pleased on how the Vet took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my little baby. I was also very pleased on how nice the staff was and how they kept me informed of what was going to take place next.Thank you for the great service!
Always caring, always professional, loves my dogs. Excellent medical care.
Dr.KRYSTEK is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and great with my cats and dogs. The entire staff is great here and a shout out to the vet techs too.
Sick dog and a panicked owner. They were great honest reliable and fit us in last minute. Likely will be returning.
We are new to this veterinarian and we called, for what we believed was an emergency for our 13 year old Lab and they got her in the same day. We spoke to Jenna and she was so helpful and understanding of our needs and everyone there took great care of our precious girl Raven, we couldn’t be more happy with everyone we dealt with. Thank you Dr. Krystek for taking such great care of our girl Raven! We will be going back and using them from now on and we have 3 Labs. We highly recommend them.🧡🐾
I took my sweet old dog Tucker there on 7/23. Right away they were kind, and phenomenal with communication on how they are doing drop off, pick up, tests, and everything in between. Sadly, my boy didn’t have an eye infection like I thought, and he has cancer. This news was soul crushing, his doctor and their staff were so incredibly compassionate and gentle, especially while delivering the heart shattering news. I wouldn’t bring him any where else, these people really care. From the deepest depths of my heart thank you for taking such great care of my furry soul mate, and keeping him comfortable.
I trust the staff at Companion Animal Hospital with my 2 kittens. One kitten is super shy and nervous of strangers but Dr. Scott and everyone at Companion go above and beyond to care for my animals. The assistants are super friendly and really care about my kittens as if they were their own. The communication is great! The follow up is excellent. I am so happy my niece recommended them to me. I couldnt be happier.
Our pup has been attending doggie daycare and loves it. She loves the staff. They are always friendly and informative of her day.
This was my first time going to that animal hospital it was a great experience. I definitely would recommend this place to first time visits. Prices were reasonable, great communication via telephone. I was worried about the curbside service but the vet was great and answered all my questions over the phone . If I was able to go inside and look at the place and get a better feel of the environment I would definitely rate this place five stars. Thanks for services again.
Great service as always - very attentive and cares about my dog. Even during Covid times, they make it work safely and efficiently.
My family has been coming to this location for over 16 years - age long lived of my shihtzu 🙏 thanks to all the vets being very knowledgeable and caring!! Staff and technicians are great too!! A couple hiccups sometimes but understandable because of the stressful times we are in. 5 stars for Dr. Krystek. He gives awesome, truthful advice for being a first time cat mom :) love bringing my kitten to him. Definitely recommend
Very happy with their service, professionalism with my very senior cat!!!
My dog is a frequent flyer at companion for their daycare. He was a little groggy yesterday so I gave the staff a heads up. They immediately called me when they noticed he wasnt being his normal self and were able to get him in to see the vet. She called and was extremely thorough with her suggestions/recommendations and I felt 110% comfortable with him being in their care. I appreciate every single one of them beyond words for their constant care and attention to our fur baby. Highly recommend their daycare AND their vet services. Thank you all for being such a blessing in Whiskeys life. We appreciate you!
I have had all my dogs treated at Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge by Dr. Anderson. However, most recently my boyfriends cat became ill and while he lives in a different part of the city, I suggested he take him to Companion. We called and easily made an appointment for the cat next day ( the understood the urgency) and they were very thorough with his examination. All west loop vets(his area) didnt have availability for 4 days and werent empathetic to our concerns and worries of not wanting to wait any longer for an evaluation. All the staff members at Companion from the receptionist who took our appointment, to the vet tech who greeted us with our new patient were compassionate, empathetic and genuinely caring about our pet. So even if we cant go in with the pet inside (covid guidelines), its very reassuring that they are in the best hands.
I loved the fact that they are practicing social distancing and come out to greet you and get your pet. The service was so thorough, yet so fast.
I, truly appreciate the care which my dog “Hope” receives at Companion Animal Hospital. The Doctors will explain the best way to care for your beloved pet. My dog is prone to ear infections due to allergies and those cute flap over ears. I, feel confident that she is getting the proper care.
This was the FIRST time either of my fur babies needed treatment. My Zeus had to go into Premier on an emergency basis and his follow up was done by Companion. I found Companion on line and after speaking with others that have pets this was the best place to go.I found the cost to be inexpensive compared to others. Staff that I had contact with were very personable and able to explain everything I needed to know. The Dr. was able to recommend a shot of antibiotics since I could not force a pill down Zeuss throat nor get liquid down his throat with a syringe.I felt assured that the vet technicians and doctors knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend this place and I will be returning.
After calling so many hospitals and clinics and not being able to have my 2 dogs seen anywhere because of long wait times and no new patients I remembered I had took one of my dogs there and it was a good experienceI was able to be seen right away the following day after I calledI had previously gone to the ER on Pulaski and Belmont & after waiting a whole hour and 15 mins I called them & they said it was about a 4-5 hour wait. I understand with the pandemic everything is running differently & some places are understaffed but they could have let me know or recommended another place, I had to call them to ask 2 times about the wait time & if they could recommend another place but I hadno luck. Companion Animal hospital is great as soon as I pulled up I called & within 2 mins someone came out to take my dogs & the doctor called me to explain everything he was really nice & the prices for both dogs was reasonable it was not over priced for everything I got done for them.
We have been going to Companion since before it was Companion. They are very gentle and caring. Dr. Anderson is the best! She really gets to know the animals and listens to every concern no matter how small or silly it sounds. I wouldnt take my pup anywhere else!!
First time taking my cat to Companion Animal Hospital and everything went great. I recieved great customer service from the beginning. The receptionist was very helpful and was able to fit us into the schedule for the day. Once I spoke to the Dr. he was very informative and kind. My cat got great service and I think this place is going to be my cats vet from now on.
Like many I added to my family during the pandemic. Being a very anxious 1st time puppy parent I have had a lot of questions. I also have a puppy that seems to go thru bouts of digestive issues. Dr. Scott and all the techs that have dealt with me and my pup have been great. Dr. Scott has always followed up when Ive emailed or phoned in questions or concerns. Even tho it has been weird simply handing my pup over to a vet tech and not having actually met with the vet, from the way my girl acts when we get there I know all is good. They all truly care about the pets and pet parents.
I took my dog, Bug here for a follow up visit after his stay at an animal hospital over the weekend. He was attacked by a husky and needed a check up on his wounds and how he was healing overall. He was in a lot of pain the day before his visit and vomiting. I brought him in and the doctor was able to give Bug an injection for his pain and nausea. In addition, they provided me prescription food to get him back to recovery/feeling better and provide insight as to how his wounds were healing and what to expect moving forward. The doctor and staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable and handled Bug with so much care. We look forward to coming back for his next check-up. Thank you!
Needed a Travel certificate for my pup to travel internationally with me. Super last minute my usual vet didnt want to do it said it’s a long process had to do it 6 months ahead. I called companion got an appointment next day super informative honestly changing vets. Love they way I was treated!
We just love Dr. Scott. Shes so good with out animals. Companion has bee very flexible with us and does not do anything to the dogs until theyve clearly explained everything to us.
We love Companion AH and our dogs vet is the best. These people love animals and it shows. Who doesnt want to take there pet to people who truly care about animals.
My dog Karl had a bum knee. He had a surgery at another vet that didnt take. He hadnt used his leg for over 8 months and Dr. Hammer was able to locate a birth defect in the leg and make repairs around this concern. Prognosis was guarded. He has since made a super recovery and is able to run and play again. I am so grateful to Dr. Hammer, Alex and Heidi for being direct with the diagnosis and taking such good care of my young guy. Thank You!
Best animal hospital in the city.
This animal hospital is awesome! I’ve had to bring both my dogs as emergencies on separate occasions, and they’re always very accommodating and take spectacular care of them!!! I can’t praise them enough! ❤️❤️
This was our first visit, had a recommendation from a customer at my job. Wade is a short hair domestic cat and has been having some skin issues. They took me in with no problem, very nice and helpful. He’s already acting happier. We have a long way to go but so far was really happy with everything.
We love coming to Companion Animal Hospital with our dogs. We have been coming here for years. The clinic is modern and clean and the check-in is always quick and courteous. The doctors and techs are very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. DR. ANDERSON is absolutely the BEST and always goes above and beyond! Definitely 5 STARS!
We love the staff at Companion Norridge. We have 4 American Bulldogs and it seems like something is always coming up with them. We are always very satisfied with the front desk staff, techs, and vets! Their day care/boarding staff are great too. We have met them all at this point:) Very nice facility as well. Highly recommend!
I love this animal hospital, everyone is so kind, friendly, and professional. 4 months ago they helped me find the best possible way to help my furry soulmate cross over the rainbow bridge with love, respect, comfort, and made sure I was okay as well. Today, they welcomed my new rescue baby and took such amazing care of him. I will not go any where else. Not only do my dogs always come out happy, they are never afraid, and this time he was just full of cheesewiz and treats! Haha. Thank you guys for all that you do! Griffin and I will see ya soon!
