I’ve been a long time customer at Rose Rock, at least 17 years but today they gave me the push I needed to sever the relationship. I truly do not believe they are in business because they love and care for animals but they love and care about money instead. You can’t just go in and pay what you expect. They will ALWAYS find a way to up sell you something or pressure you into something if you let them. I called about a week ago to book a kennel stay for my two dogs for my upcoming vacation. I spoke to someone named Jessica who quoted me $160 for 4 days. I was pleased with that and confirmed the reservation. I requested that both dogs be in the kennel together because they are companions. People worry about their pets when they leave. Sometimes my dogs refuse to eat because they’re depressed when we’re gone. So it’s important to me that my dogs are as happy as possible when they are separated from us. And it’s important to me that they stay together to promote happiness while we are separated from them. I come back to find that not only did they NOT keep my dogs together but the fee was twice the price Jessica quoted me on the phone. Do you think that they did anything to compensate for that mistake or even apologize? No! They did absolutely nothing but demand full payment. Oh and not only that but when my husband dropped them off for their stay, they tried to add vaccination costs onto the bill that they were not even due for yet. And what’s worse they know that because they are the ones who performed the vaccinations. So either they think everyone who is going on vacation is full of money bags and can afford a $800 vet bill the same week as an out of town trip, they don’t pay attention to the details of their own patients records, or they’re trying to hustle people out of extra money and hoping you won’t notice their oversight. I’m betting it’s the latter of the three options so I’m no longer using them, and if you love your pet, you shouldn’t either. Anita was the only good thing about that place and that’s just not enough anymore. Oh and to add insult to injury my dog is coughing now. Within 5 minutes of driving away I noticed it and called them back immediately. I questioned if they heard her coughing. They said they didn’t notice anything. So my dog has been under their care for several days and they didn’t notice these horrible sounds but I noticed it immediately. If they spent any time with her and had paid attention to details, they would have noticed too. It’s their job to notice.
We were from out of town and they fit her in to help with allergies. Cross coordinated with our normal vet to make sure they had all the latest records and really helped her out. Great staff. All very capable and social. Doc did a great job taking care.
I had been client of RRVH for well over 10 years. During this time, I have experienced a severe decline in the care provided. I have two experiences with my current dog (I have had a total of 4 that I took to RRVH). One, a few years back she suffered an injury to her patella in her left rear leg, the diagnosis was a luxating patella. The treatment plan was: take these 10 pills and if it doesnt fix itself, we will need to do surgery. I inquired about the cost of the surgery, it was going to be several THOUSANDS. Obviously, a luxating patella isnt going to fix itself with 10 pills. No x-ray, no other tests, nothing. I did not believe that this was the ONLY way to treat her luxating patella. I took her to OSU Veterinary Hospital in Stillwater. THEY took an x-ray and provided a very thorough and detailed treatment plan that took SEVERAL WEEKS to heal. And, it did. This was in June 2018.My most recent experience, started in January 2021. This time she had stepped on something that caused a laceration in her right rear paw. And, the treatment plan was take these pills and clean her paw. Once again - NO TESTS. NO CULTURES. NOTHING. After this dragging on for months, (no, her paw did not heal) I took her to another veterinary practice in Norman. They took tests to identify what the bacteria/infection was so it could be treated EFFECTIVELY. By the new veterinary identifying the EXACT TYPE of bacteria/infection, they were able to treat it with the RIGHT ANTIBIOTIC.Beware, it seems their only concern is recurring revenue. It is extremely disheartening to see such a decline in the care provided. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
Staff is amazing and does everything possible to find a treatment plan that works with your financial means.
I have been bringing my dog here for almost a year now. Last week we had an emergency and they accepted us without an issue and took care of my dog above and beyond. The staff is so kind, caring and professional. I would recommend highly to anyone looking for a good vet!
We bring our 3 fur babies here and they all have Dr. Devine as their veterinarian. Shes really awesome! Saved my 15 year old Rat terriers life. And the staff here are really friendly.
I have been bringing my pets here for years and the staff is always kind and professional. I love the reminders and offers they provide educationally without being pushy and the fact that they always remember my dog makes me feel she is truly cared for. Other than that it is a beautiful facility that is well maintained with awesome staff. This will continue to be the only place for Vet, boarding, and grooming that we will go to.
I’ve used Rose Rock for a few years now. They know what they’re doing and they treat my pets with gentleness and compassion. It feels terrible leaving your pet when it’s sick, but knowing they are getting great care and are with people who truly love animals makes it better.
There are a lot of veterinarians in Norman some of them are highly qualified some not so much if you want the best care for your furry friend I recommend rose rock Ive been rescuing dogs for 20 years old dog medical problems and I always see Rose Rock I have excellent diagnostics and they have the vets that can perform any function necessary for your furry buddy Dr blasek is my favorite vet the only one I will use. There may be others highly qualified but I never tried them and I dont see any need to change from Dr blazek Jim
I couldnt be more pleased with Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital. The service was extremely fast and efficient. Dr. Devine, the technician, and everyone at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. I have been to many vets across many different states and Rose Rock is one of the best.
I was very pleased with the care my pet received her! The staff was quick, friendly and very good with my 9 year old chihuahua! He was seen in urgent care with a ruptured left anal gland. The staff took amazing care of him and I’m very grateful! I just moved here from California so I’ll definitely be coming to this office all the time!
Ive taken my dogs to this vet for a many years. I left once because they pushed extra services on me and made me feel guilty when I declined - as if I somehow didnt care about my animal. However, the care has always been good albeit expensive. Today was the final straw for me and I will not return. I called because my dog, who they just examined 60 days ago, is flopping his ears. He had a previous ear infection while I was out of state but had never been treated there for the ear infection. They have no appointments until Wednesday (today is Saturday). They offered no alternatives to assist - none. Other than to let the infection get worse and come in and spend my $$ with them on Wednesday. They didnt even recommend the emergency vet. I am beyond not satisfied. I think this response - or lack of one - indicates whether they prioritize money or your pet first.
I would like to thank the staff and especially the doctor who treated our cat during the last few days of his life. He had been sick for some time and the care and attention that they provided was above and beyond. They are extremely responsive and it was much appreciated. I would recommend highly to anyone looking for a good vet.
I was referred to Rose Rock by our usual vet because unfavorable weather had ours shut down. My favorite boy (Choocho) was very sick, very suddenly and needed to be seen.Upon arrival the staff was second to none in professionalism and caring. The facility was very clean and welcoming. The vet ran some tests and the worst news ever was the unfortunate outcome. He had to be put down. I have so much appreciation for the vet not trying to push medications or surgeries to possibly bring him some comfort when the truth was that his quality of life would never be good. She was forthcoming, honest and displayed the utmost respect and care while I cried my eyes out. I really appreciated that. The euthanization went quickly and they gave us time with him before and after. They sent a beautiful card in the mail which all of the staff signed, and again, I cried like a baby. My husband just went to pick up Choochos ashes yesterday, and the box and plaque are beautiful. They even included a little paw of flower seeds to plant for him.Thank you so much Rose Rock! Your team and facility are A+ in my book. While my experience was a sad one, with the display of love and caring you gave my dying boy, I bet its safe to say your care for well animals would be second to none as well.
My 9 month old puppy ate a hat. The doctor never touched my dog. She had a tech communicate the ‘treatment plan’. The doctor was more concerned with the money I had available to pay. Ended up having to get a credit card to pay the 290$ for an X-ray and some IVFluids. I feel sorry for the techs working there. The doctor didn’t seem to do anything except show me the X-ray results. Clean facility though.
Everyone here is so sweet and helpful! The staff loves both my cat and dog, and both animals are treated with love and respect. Thank you guys!!
We have found our new vet!I can’t stress how good this team is. Our dog was injured and they worked us in as soon as they could. They are so compassionate and caring and treated my dog with the utmost care. Even through a traumatic experience he was so calm with them which is the perfect indicator for me.They we’re able to give me several options to get him well again and explained them all. This team is incredible and I won’t hesitate to take my pets there again.
Our normal vet was booked up so we called Rose Rock for boarding. Our pets stayed 3.5 days. When we picked them up they were very happy, healthy & very well cared for. Our dogs are our family & knowing we have somewhere we can take them to for boarding who is going to interact with our pets, play with them & treat them with care & love makes it worry free when we have to leave them. You guys & Gals Rock!!
This was probably the best visit Ive ever had to any veterinarian office. The office itself was nice and spacious so you dont feel like your crowded by other people and their pets. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They offer an interesting rewards program where you can earn money towards a service/product. The veterinarian was very communicative and explained things well. She made sure to answer any questions or listen to any concerns I had. Well done.
This place is amazing! By far exceeded my expectations. I am a very particular person that most often will find something negative about a place to complain about. However, with Rose Rock, I only have positive things to say. Great doctor, techs, and supporting staff that are friendly, great with the animals, and people you can trust with your pets. Full stars and more in any possible area deserving a rating. How they have adapted and are still accommodating during the COVID crisis is just another display of how this place is far superior compared to others. I found their prices to be very reasonable as well. Anyone that would dispute that is most likely a terrible pet owner that has no concept of what quality pet care is. Even if you live outside the Norman area, I would recommend traveling the extra distance for your pet. Undoubtedly worth it!
Im not one who usually leaves reviews under any circumstances, but I couldnt resist this one.... Rose Rock is AMAZING. What was easily deemed one of the worst moments of my life, the care and compassion theyve shown as an entire team throughout this process has been impeccable, and far beyond the highest expectation I could have set. Every single staff member I came in contact with was amazing... friendly, hospitable, and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure both me and my boy were comfortable throughout his surgery and stay there. The Veterinarian took the time to provide me with multiple updates on my boys progress throughout the days he was there, the staff sent me cute photos to assure me he was taken care of. Those small gestures made the world of a difference. I cannot say enough about this place. Ultimately they saved my dogs life.
Our dog Bleu has suffered from allergies for years and we have never been able to get them under control. The doc at Rose Rock spent a lot of time explaining what she thinks will work and started her on a plan to get her on the road to recovery. Very knowledgeable and offered options. Overall we are pleased with the facility and staff. Praying this works for our girl so she can have a better quality of life.
They have taken care of all our pets for almost a decade. We trust their advice and opinions and they love our pets and treat them very well.
Rose Rock was able to accommodate a last minute boarding request. Prices were totally reasonable (and cheaper than most other providers in the area) and they took good care of my dog while I was gone.
The nicest looking (&smelling) vet Ive ever experienced. The photos show an actual consult room and part of the lobby. Most of the pets seem very comfortable in the waiting area and there is room to keep pets apart from one another. There are separate area for cats and dogs. Everyone was very nice to us.
Extremely friendly staff and had an amazing facility. Will check chips for free and in a timely manner! 10/10 this place is awesome
Rose rock is my favorite veterinary clinic. The day my kitten died they found time for my other cat when he was feeling sick. They were so kind and gentle on what was a really awful day.
They were friendly from the first phone call, the staff was extremely friendly to my pet and you can see the sense of concern for the well being of the animals. I felt they did a great job of explains everything. We will definitely be returning.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Blazek and Devin. They took amazing care of my dog, who I brought in with a wound. He was hurting and they kept him feeling as comfortable and safe as possible. I definitely felt like my fur baby was in good, loving hands.
Everyone at Rose Rock is so kind, friendly and caring. They always take such good care of our dogs. Rose Rocks generosity extends beyond just their Office, they are also known for giving back and supporting their local community. The Junior League of Norman truly appreciates Rose Rocks continued support.
Lie about how much things are! Would not recommend to anyone! Horrible people
They took very good care of my parrot.
It was the 1st and only vet we have used for all 4 of my pups since moving to Norman back in 2019. Their prices are up there, but you can tell they truly love your animals.
I do not recommend using this vet for your beloved companions.
Very nice reception, everyone very helpful and friendly thanks so much for the good service
Very friendly staff. The Vet was very thorough and explained things well. They all treated my dog very well.
Top notch veterinary care and boarding. Had them watch my cats many times now.
Great Doc. She informed us of what she believes is wrong, was gentle to out Parrot in diagnosing also. Was needing to find a good dog for our parrot and we did. Would highly recommend.
My cat had a blockage in his intestines. It cost $800 for them to keep him for 2 days with fluids. He didnt need surgery (that would have been $1700). Overall, I am happy with how often they updated me. My cat is better. They took good care of him and sent me photos while they had him.
Great place. But overpriced.
I brought my rabbit in for an emergent visit and wish I had gone anywhere else. She was prescribed a critical care food that I needed to syringe feed along with several medications and fluids. Later that evening, I realized I was only given the tiny bag of food and not the larger bag that I was also charged for. Given all the medications, I was understanding about the mix-up. I called right when the vet opened the following morning as I used the last of the food for the 4am feeding and it wasn’t a full feeding. I was told that she would “locate the food” for me and call me back in just a few moments. Over an hour had gone by the time I got a return call and was told that the large bag was unavailable and they credited my account and I could get two of the tiny bags. I asked if this was available over the counter while explaining she was completely out and that wouldn’t last her the weekend. I was simply told “I don’t know”. I wasn’t offered any options, advice or alternatives. I frantically searched for other options available immediately (while trying to work) and told them I’d take the two bags. I informed them she had already missed one feeding. They said they’d call “as soon as they are ready” which was confusing because I’m not sure what there is to “get ready”. Several hours went by and I called back and inquired about and told they had ONE bag ready. I stated that I was told I was supposed to have two and was told, “well you have one” as I was talking and expressing my concern that the bag doesn’t even last a full 24 hours, I was hung up on. When I showed up to pick the bag up, the quantity was marked out and changed from 2 to 1 with a sharpie. She missed two feedings because of the vet, the very people who supposed to be helping her. I felt helpless, like I couldn’t say or do anything because all the critical care food I could find had to be ordered. If there was literally anywhere I could have found to get the food the same day I wouldn’t have given them another cent. I had to request for the refund to go back to my card. The entire visit I was belittled and talked down to. There are several other complaints I have from that visit, but by far this was the most significant.Edit to add: They called to apologize after I left the review and explain their side of the situation and kept referring to my bunny as a “he” which frustrated me because it sounded completely insincere. They stated they were out of the food and it was mix-up. I pointed out how the first time may have been, but that does not explain the rest of the issues. I also inquired exactly what they were planning on feeding my bunny had I elected for hospitalization and not taking her home and doing the treatments and I wasn’t able to get a straight answer.
Well bb came out with kennel caugh cost $130 bucks for a vet appointment plus a nights sleep. My poor baby was hacking the whole night.
****UPDATE******As I said in my previous review I used to love their services and they have been (until) this point been able to work with me and give me the best care and explain everything to me.That said my experience most recently has destroyed this for me. To explain what happened, my cat needed to get a vaccine. I’ve had vaccines from there before with no issues however this time was different. He went in for the 1st set of shots. I spent $90 for this. Which I have no issue with since I want the best for my animals. Then I set up the next appointment for the booster shot. Before the next appointment I had a class move to the appointment time and since I’m both a full time student and I work full time I asked for availability for the next week. She gave me those times and I picked one that worked for me. After the appointment they scheduled another one for the SAME SHOTS. So I called later to cancel the appointment because based on the information they gave me my cat had received the 1st and 2nd vaccines required so to me there was no need for another appointment. So I called and explained the situation to the nurse or whoever answered the phone. She put me on hold and transferred me to the doctor. She told me that because the booster wasn’t in between the 2-4 week window that he needed to redo the 1st vaccine and the appoint scheduled was for the booster. I immediately was confused now considering that the second appointment was $70 and they didn’t mention literally any of this. Not only do have a busy schedule where appointments like this aren’t convenient or easy to get to but now I’m about to spend another $70 on something that should have been explained when I rescheduled the appointment. The doctor even admitted to the issue of their staff not explaining that because I Would have worked it out to make it before the booster deadline if I would have been told. Also, something that doesn’t make sense to me. On my invoice It literally says “BOOSTER” so why tf was I charged for something you didn’t give me. I asked for help with the situation and all she said was that they wanted him to be healthy and safe. Which is just insulting. Like lady I do too or I wouldn’t now be spending $230 on a vaccine when I couldn’t have spent $70 less if they literally would have had a conversation with me. I’m incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed. Their organization has gone down hill and I will not be getting his second booster shot with them. I will be finding new care for all of my pets. I understand this is a business but I would rather go to a vet who has more organized and informative employees who don’t just say “oops, well you should have known”I have been with them for just about 2 years now and I’ve always loved their service! They are a warm and always are kind to answer questions and concerns. Since I have a bunny and they are considered exotic animals I had a hard time finding a good vet for him that said I finally found one! My cats and my bunny are both taken care of because of Rose Rock. Their customer service is amazing and if I ever need anything I can call up and get an answer. They are flexible with scheduling and if I need to I can reschedule. Oh also their curbside appointments work very well and they allow owner to come inside with their pet. Which is very important for me. Couldn’t think of a better family to be apart of!!Oh and I have pet insurance for all of my animals so their cost doesn’t really affect me but they give quality care so to me the cost is no issue. They are on the pricier side but for me an animal isn’t about the cost it’s about taking the best care as possible. Rose rock is the best care.
DONT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!! RIP TANGO!Tango was a very special 10-year old Greyhound that belonged to a friend of mine that I helped provide care for during his recovery. Tango required immediate surgery on a foot injury which was performed here at Rose Rock. The dog picked up antibiotic resistant nosocomial infection (GOOGLE this term) and required his leg to be further amputated. The amputated wound became further infected with three strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria. Tango who has never bitten a soul started snapping out in pain. He was prescribed the wrong pain medications at first. Tangos owner called Rose Rock 8 times starting at 7:30 AM when things became noticeably worse in Tango and they would not even bother to return her phone call until people following the story on social media started calling in. When they finally called their call had nothing to do with the dogs health or well being. The owner of the dog slept in a makeshift hospital bed built for her greyhound, provided fresh linens daily, changed his dressings, made homemade meals for the dog and had a cart built out of 1/2 diameter steel pipe fittings allowing her to help get Tango on his feet. The dog did not want to die, but the owner did what was best for her animal and put the dog down after nights of him crying in pain and suffering. I watched and listened to this all. Rose Rock couldnt even return a phone call!Your animal is a part of your family and it is our responsibility as pet owners to provide them care, but also provide it a voice. Tangos owner bent over backwards for her dog and the only thing this clinic cared about was there social reputation and the $7000+ the owner spent trying to save her dog. She called the clinic 8 times and they didnt even bother calling her back. DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!RIP TANGO-01.07.19
I trust Rose Rock with the health of my two dogs, River and Loki. The doctors are thorough and professional and they don’t get too technical so you can follow along on the health issues of your pet. Dr. Levine is the best in Norman too! Rose Rock is popular and can be very busy. Having patience can go along way and is worth the waiting times to see one of the doctors. Staff are always so friendly and they remember my dogs with every visit. Some of their services are expensive, but you’re getting the highest quality of care by knowledgeable people.
They were great getting my dog in on an emergency situation, but they charged me for a whole bunch of unnecessary tests that definitely didn’t need to be done when I talked to a different vet. It frustrates me because of course it wasn’t cheap on an emergency schedule but they didn’t have to test my dog three times for fleas and ticks in the winter and made me pay for every one. That wasn’t the only unnecessary test they did!
In the past I would have rated this as a five, and for most of the 35 years I have been a client of Rose Rock I hav been very happy with their service. But this past Christmas, when I had a pet emergency and needed advice from a vet as to how to proceed, they did not respond for over 12 hours. in the interim I took my pet to an emergency pet hospital. It is true that I may have ended up doing that regardless, but I was very disappointed that no-one at Rose Rock made any effort to contact me after I stressed repeatedly to whoever answered the phone that I needed help, NOW.In the past I feel they would have responded more quickly.
My dog sandy was very sick and they tried there best to help her but with all respect of us and my dog they had us sign a dnr so my dog could pass peacefully. Thanks Rose Rock.
Took our puppy their staff really nice and you can tell they enjoy what they do
Brought my hedgehog here for checkups and toe trims, staff was always very kind and patient, even when emergencies are happening around them.
I was very nervous about taking my Boy to a new vet. I had asked around and this place was suggested so I gave it a try. They were very respectful and patient with me and my dog. They answered all my questions and were able to work with my schedule. The prices were not bad and you definitely get quality care. My dog is very cautious of going to other people and they were very gentle with him and kept talking to him and comforting him while he got his shots. I highly recommend this place to other dog owners!!!
They said my dog had cancer and then it fell off lol
If youre looking for a great veterinary clinic to take your pets. I highly recommend this place. They truly care about you and your animal / family member. They have amazing kind and compassionate staff and veterinarians that truly care about everything. They listen to everything you say.
They are a great place to have your pet care for.
I am rarely ever seen on time!!! Waiting for over an hour every single time I come in makes me want to look for another vet clinic. On top of that some of the vets are better than others in the office which is frustrating when they bounce you around from one vet to the other. I have run out of patience with this place after over 7 years of bringing my dog(s) here
We have been going to this facility for years for pet care, and this past occasion was extremely disappointing. I scheduled an exam and a bath for my dog and dropped him off at 8, as instructed. After not hearing anything from the office, I called to see if he was ready.... at 5:30. No one communicated that he was ready. I had to call. This isn’t typical for this office. Upon arrival, Logan called me to explain that they had not done the exam, they overlooked that he was to be seen. Fine, it happens, but then.... My dog comes to my car soaking wet..... he was there ALL DAY, and he was scheduled at 8am, and he’s still wet?! What happened all day that he didn’t get a bath until right before he was picked up and he didn’t get an exam? Did he get let out to potty? Did he have water? If he was that ignored, it makes me question everything. Needless to say, we are disappointed and hope for better experiences in the future for your patrons.
Staff were very welcoming, and informative about proceedure.
I have been taking my dog Ladybug to Rose Rock for roughly the past 1 1/2 years so that she can bond with other dogs as she was an abused dog prior to my adopting her. Every time I take her in we use the Bark Park where she started off doing the daily daycare and then went on to the over night stays. The staff have help our dog become more confident and relaxed, we could not be happier. Were so very grateful to the entire staff.
Always a caring, knowledgeable, and friendly staff
Weve been very happy with Rose Rock. The staff is always friendly and responsive. Weve usually been able to get in for an appointment the next day. They were also able to diagnose an eye problem with our dog that our previous vets hadnt and referred us to a great animal opthalmologist! All of the vets weve seen have been knowledgeable and professional. The price is similar to our previous vets and they offer a student discount which is nice. The app also makes requesting an appointment and remembering medications very quick and easy. I definitely recommend them!
Great crew of people, they took care of our Sassy kitty perfectly!
I took my pup here for the first two years of her life until we had to move. 2014-2016. We had almost every service done. Puppy shots, spay, teeth cleaning, boarding. Every. Single. Experience was PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend.
I originally had negative experiences with Rose Rock, but after discussing my concerns with Breawna, she took them very seriously, which I appreciated. I have edited this review from a one-star review to a three-star one due to the more positive customer service experience she provided.I think the organization and efficiency surrounding pet pick-up and drop-off could be improved. The bathing quality was good, but I think the price for a bath was a bit steep ($34.50 for each of our big dogs). They provided report cards for each of our dogs who stayed in the villas, which was a nice touch.
I want to take a moment to thank Dr. Pouillon for her care, respect, and comfort: We had to say goodbye to our family cat of 10 years yesterday, one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. She was calm and sweet to him while allowing us to comfort him while he drifted to sleep. Her demeanor was touching and made the heartbreaking situation something we could handle. Thank you.
Good friendly staff and knowledgeable Vets.
Excellent pricing on Veterinarian services and pet resort. They even came to out my car during covid scare to make everyone in their business feel comfortable.
Excellent and caring staff, service.
Took great care of Desi and Lucy(brother and sister) while we were away!
Rose Rock will forever be our vet. Dr. Bryce Fritzler is fantastic. We take both our dogs there, and our cat. Our cat was having some serious issues and Dr. Fritzler did everything and anything he could to help make our cat better. Our cat needed emergency surgery and we had to leave him over a few nights. Dr Fritzler helped ease our nerves! He was so thorough and has called every 4-6 hours during the day to update us. We are so thankful for him and his dedication to helping our fur babies.
The best vet experience ever!
Not going there again. Terrible service! Over priced everything. Do not recommend.
The team at Rose Rock are exemplary! Always pleasant and upbeat; its like they are actually glad to see you and your pet. Ya cant beat that kind of friendliness. Highly recommend!
Love this place! amazing staff!!
We had a great first experience here with our 7 week old puppy! They made sure to explain everything thoroughly and answered all of the questions we had. We also received a goodie bag full of all kinds of great things for our dog. I couldn’t recommend them enough and will be using them from here on out!
Theyre awesome. Super friendly, great service for your pet.
I used to bring my pet here a few years ago before moving, and I always had a good experience. After moving back recently, I am shocked at what a disappointing difference in customer service there is. The staff have been rude, unprofessional, and not helpful. It seems that this place is now very money hungry and wants to schedule and charge for things that are unnecessary. I absolutely will not be bringing my pets back here again! I had referred people to this vet previously and I certainly regret it now.
Worst vet ever. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE. I took my dog for a visit he was having an allergic reaction to something and the medication they prescribed me was too strong he was vomiting and not eating. I tried calling them about it and I explained to them what happened to him at first they told me “oh don’t worry we’ll get you taken care of just bring us back the medication and we’ll give you another set for free. Let me just get your info and my mangers will call you back” they told me they’d give me a call back and I did NOT hear back from them for 2 days. I finally called them back the second day and they told me “I’m sorry there’s not much we can do. The only other thing we can do is have you guys come back for a different medication. But we will have to charge you for the visit and medication” now straight lied to my face multiple times and every time I wanted to talk to a manager they wouldn’t let me talk to them. Now my dog has gotten even worse and it’s a sad thing to know that the place who is suppose to “care” for your pet doesn’t seem to care about anything besides money. If you WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF GO HERE. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR PET IS TAKEN CARE OF AND CARED FOR PLEASE TAKE THEM ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES HERE. They are not kind people at all.
Great group of people! I have 3 cats and trust what the staff and Doctors tell me about what they need and what needs to be done for them. I recommend them to everyone that mentions needing a vet.
This is our veterinary clinic. We bring all our pets here for care.
Excellent and professional service. The cost can hurt when you gotta put a pet in the hospital, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Their social distancing parking lot waiting area is well done.
I was treated so nicely and the office was beautiful and clean. I was caught between paydays and my cat was having a urine issue. I got declined for both the credit services they took and still was able to work with me for $60. I now am going to make this my main vet and trust them with my baby. He also seemed very relaxed around the vet and vet tech. Which is very important as well.
I took my cat, Paris in today for a check up since he has been urinating outside of the litter box (mostly on my bed! 🤢) and I wanted to rule out any medical problems. The staff were welcoming and incredibly kind. He got lots of compliments, and they even offer a waiting room specifically for cats that’s calmer and more quiet. We were in and out in less than 1.5 hours which is great for full time employees trying to get to work! Turns out he needed a few medications and a prescription food that cost quite a bit of money, but he’s loving it more than his normal diet. I plan on bringing in my other cat, Juliet for a check up soon as well because our experience was unparalleled.
Seeing as this clinic keeps sending me emails requesting a Google review, here it goes. What is now three years ago, I took my otherwise healthy, 2 year old mini dachshund to this clinic for a tiny bone fracture (he had fallen onto his hip on tile and broken a little bone in his leg). I took him here because this is the most expensive vet in Norman, and I thought expensive = quality. They overdosed him on pain medicine and I found him dead in my room 1 week later. I wanted to speak to the vet, but they wouldnt even let me do that as they didnt want to be liable. They outright refused to allow the vet to speak to me on the phone and they did not want to see me otherwise. They said I was welcome to pay an additional $300 for an autopsy as well. They did not allow me any other information, and actually had the audacity to send a condolences card signed by nurses that have never even seen my dog. This is not a good clinic. Youre really better off finding someone closer to Stillwater that may not charge as much, but actually loves animals and spends more time investigating their issues than just slapping a generic dose of pills at them and calling it a day. I hate giving negative reviews, but Taco (my dog) deserved better and a life was lost due to negligence and hunger for money.
The Rose Rock Pet Resort is everything I hoped and more. You choose which type of room you want you pet to stay in. Then you can pick additional upgrades like extra playtime or going on walks. The people are very kind and have always been sweet to me. Also, if your pet is staying for an extended amount of time, they will text pictures of your pet with updated on how they’re doing. Very impressed.
They are awesome. They gave the best price I have found in Norman to get my puppys nails trimmed. They are also very quick, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.
Was very pleased with the whole experience. Luckie was comfortable there and easy to handle. I will go back and make this her forever vet. Plenty of time was taken to listen to all the information I had to impart about Luckies health problems. The cost was very fair and I liked the fact that they filled her RX there and I didnt have to go to a pharmacy. Everyone was top noch friendly and we felt very comfortable with the amount of experience that Logan had as an assistant. She is a very sweet and professional person.
Took my dogs here because of suspected allergies. Due to COVID we had to wait outside in the car and I was waiting for about 1+ hour. Once I took them in, it was a suspected bacterial infection so we were prescribed medicine. Fast forward to now, a month later my girls condition is worse, still itching, balding even and we dont know what to do or why. I was also overcharged $100+ which was inconvenient. The only plus is that the staff is nice and friendly but I need my girls taken care of
I recently got a new puppy and made sure I did my research when finding a trusted vet for his care. I absolutely fell in love with everything about this place! The office itself is very clean, the staff are super sweet and knowledgeable and the doctor took the time to answer any questions that I had. I highly recommend this vet to anyone needing a trusted place to take their fur babies!
Takes very good care of my dog,
I have never had a negative experience with Rose Rock. They always treat my animals as if they are my own, and it is a wonderful experience. They always give me hope no matter how stressful the event may be. Thank all of you for all your hard work.
We have been going here for over 15 years and have always received excellent, personalized care for our dogs. From basic checkups to emergency surgeries to saying goodbye to a beloved pet, the people that work here really care. I would not take my fur babies anywhere else!
