DO NOT BELIEVE THEM when they tell you they will give you a 20% discount off their fees for being a repeat customer. They dont, even though 2 different employees told me they did when I called 2 different times when shopping around for rates. I chose them based on the discount but once they did the title work and sent the fees to my lender, there was no discount. I called to discuss and was treated rudely with no reconsideration, apology for misinformation, etc. So why do business with an entity that does not recognize repeat business in the first place but then to absolutely lie about saying they never said that?!?! Next....

I love working with First American Title because they put in their time. We have had miracle closings because of the women at First American Title. Even if something didnt close on time it was because they didnt have a clear to close due to the lender or if the abstracting was coming from somewhere really small (Oh, wait that was a miracle closing!! We still closed on TIME). They work so hard. Ive been working with them for 3 years now and I couldnt be happier. I will continue to use them and support First American Title of Norman!

Closing with the First American was not fun. Agent did not follow what contract said, but instead what the seller wants. The seller is a builder, and always uses First American Title, hince why the agent listened to the builder instead of reading what the contract said.The only reason I am giving 2 stars is at the end of working with them, First Americans attorney stepped in, read the contract and then we quickly (after already dealing with this issue for too long) got what was stated in the contract.

I’m giving one star because I have to. It took months to close on the land I was selling. Thank the Lord for honest people though. It shouldnt come down to the buyers of my land noticing that they deeded over the entire 20 acres of my property to them when I was only selling 3.5 acres to the buyers. It’s in the details and they skip over them.

Ive been in the business since 1996 and when I have sales in Norman and my clients want me to choose a title company, I always choose 1st American. All of the employees work diligently to ensure my clients have a positive experience. I would highly recommend them.
