He had my car for just one day and then it was back in my hands. I would recommend him to anyone. The drop off was easy and the pick up even easier. Nice guy, just seems unorganized. I went there for a oil leak. He fixed my oil leak, put on new back brake pads, and a serpentine belt. I went to pick up my vehicle and he had lost my key. I waited about 30 minutes for them to look for it. They finally found it the next day. My car is now making a noise in the brakes. I returned my vehicle to him for two more days and they could not hear the noise I hear every day now. They lost my key again on my second visit but found it same day. My car is still making the rubbing noise.🙄

I would highly recommend Terry and the guys at Terry’s Automotive. I first took my truck to Terry’s a couple of years ago when my alternator went out. Terry arranged a tow truck to pick it up from my house and made sure to look after me. I’ve been going back to him ever since for any work I need on both my car and truck. I always experience top quality work for a VERY reasonable price.

Was in Norman OK looking to purchase a vehicle. When I drove the vehicle, it felt like it stutters when I step on the gas. I took it to Terrys Automotive before committing to the purchase. The owner Terry was very helpful. Terry quickly saw a few problems as soon as he lift up the hood. His staff noticed a few other issues with the vehicle that I hadnt even noticed and Terry hadnt got to yet.After pointing out all the issues, we decided to take Terrys recommendation and decided not to go through with the deal.Thanks to Terry and his staff for the pointers and guidance. Shop is small, but, highly recommend that you visit Terrys Automotive to get their professional opinions before you make a purchase. Will likely save you thousands of dollars and time.

Excellent service. The dealership service department wanted over $600 to change the radiator on my car. And Id have to leave it overnight. Terry did the job in a couple of hours and it cost half that amount. You wont be sorry. They know their stuff and theyre not out to rob their customers. All I can say is -Im very satisfied.

Go here!!! Im a girl in college who usually leans on the luxury of my father taking care of any type of car situation. Being away from home, I had to handle going to an autoshop alone and completely clueless. Terry was so kind, patient and understood exactly what I was talking about even when I didnt. Terry sacrificed his memory weekend to work on the timing belt and wheel bearing replacement of my car. He is very attentive and experienced. I drove the repaired car all the way to Colorado for about 1500 miles without any problem.

Save yourself the train wreck of dealing with an automotive shop. They provide quick and efficient roadside services, but besides that I made the wrong choice by leaving my car with them. I know business is business but my car was never a priority to this place they were not even willing to fix the problem, sending it back in the exact same condition it was left in. The owner and his son are very unprofessional. Never again!

Terry is a VERY friendly guy. He talks to you a little too long, and isnt the most professional businessman, but hes trustworthy and old school. My only complaint is that he failed to call me with an estimate, as he said he would. The work was affordable ($60-70/hr) and done in one day. Id go back.

I had my first experience at Terrys yesterday, and I can promise it wont be my last (especially considering my car...) Terry is one of the old school of businessman who knows that the best advertising isnt Google, its word of mouth. In that spirit Terry treats everyone who walks through his door with respect and courtesy and does everything he can to help. I bothered him all day trying to figure out where my suspension was going wrong, and every time I showed up or called he was ready to help. We managed to find what the problem was, (the delay wasnt due to his skills, but my creativity in finding ways to break my car) and he referred me to someone who could do the welding for me since he doesnt and furthermore he refused my money since he didnt do any actual work, even though I ate up at least a couple hours of his day. Ive been searching for a good mechanic in Norman for quite awhile, and I am happy to say I finally found one. Id recommend Terry to my own grandmother.

This is by far the most terrible auto repair shop ever.!!! Do not for any reason take your car here. They are a bunch of fraudsters. With absolutely no idea what they are doing. I have known Terry for 4 years and when it was just him, he used to be honest and treated his clients right but now he has expanded and has employed a guy called Neil who is both extremely rude and terrible at fixing cars. I gave them KIA sportage to change the spark plugs and ignition wires, and he told me it would be fixed in 24hrs, they ended up taking 10 days to fix the car.When I went to pick up my car it had a developed a loud chugging sound that was never there before. Terry told me this sound will go away if i drive it for a while that it was normal, so i did drive it for a few days but the sound only got worse. I took the car back for him to fix it and this time he kept my car for 27 DAYS!!!!! and still did not fix the car. Each time I call to find out whats up with my car, he always had one excuse or the other, on one occasion, his assistant was very rude and cut the call on me. I Had to take my car to Kia dealership to have it fixed and i am in the process of suing him to court as he caused more damage to my car after fixing it
