After two calls to John with no response I decided to post a few pictures of what’s going on so customers can see how they operate. This is the result of my elderly parents having their liner replaced (partially replaced). As you can see a sharp object was left on the floor of the pool and looks to be ready to puncture through the new liner. Along with this and several other issues the liner needs to be secured in the two different locations shown in the pictures. John, stop putting these elderly people through the stress of dealing with your lack of follow up and just finish the job, the right way.Still no response……

Two days ago, I went to this store as a last resort having been unable to find anyone in our area to service our pool since the original installer won’t return My phone calls or emails. I forgot about Etcheson actually but decided to give them a try. When I walked in, I announced that I needed sand so I could change my own sand filter. The staff were so pleasant and attentive. Fun actually. They answered all of my questions without making me feel like a bother. They loaded my sand without me even asking - other stores made me haul my own out. Fast forward 2 days and I was still trying to finish the job myself. I couldn’t get the filter put back together so I called the store and cried ‘uncle’! We laughed and he got me scheduled for tomorrow. John also gave me some tips to do with the water since the pump hadn’t been running for two days. He Even exceeded expectations and was able to send someone out this morning- Only 3 hours after I called. Needless To say, they have my business! Love this store and their staff! Thank you, thank you, thank you ! Also, I don’t normally write reviews. But I felt this store’s customer service deserved a big shout out!

I have been a loyal customer of Etcheson spa and pool for at least 15 years. Sometimes owning a pool can be frustrating but John has always been able and willing to teach me and help me to have a great pool season. John and Kathy are people of integrity and they work very hard to to please their customers.

We were first time pool owners. We loved that they would test our water for free and let us know what we needed to add to water. We got a printout every time and they talked through how to add chemicals and amounts for our pool. They did not pressure us to buy their chemicals or products at all!

I was struggling with my pool this summer. It kept turning green and I couldn’t get it under control. I took a water sample in and they helped me figure out what was needed to get it back in balance and avoid the green returning. They pointed me in the right direction and didn’t try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary chemicals that I didn’t need. I will always choose them for their honesty and helpfulness!!

We had a mess when we ordered a hot tub from a big outfit in Chicago area. Delivered with damage, needed replacement/warranty work done before we ever used it. We had Etchesons do the warranty work. They answered a million questions, came out multiple times, dealt with warranty stuff on our behalf and gave me FOLLOW UP phone calls to make sure we were AOK. Recommend 110%.

The “other guys” left us hanging and did not fix the problem now return our call. Etcheson came to the rescue and promptly returned our call, scheduled to come out the next day, and had us back up and running. I will be calling them first for any future issues.

There are a few different places in the area where you could go for pool and spa service. However, John does a great job educating the staff and they all are really helpful. Especially when you are new to it all

Horrible !!! Please choose anyone else!!! I have been given the run around for a month now!! They had no problem taking my deposit, summer I’d be half over by the time they get my new liner put in. If they even get it in! I will be contacting the better business bureau next! They never call you back, keep pushing back the install date! I still can’t get an answer from them. Let alone get back my 1,000 deposit !!

Parts under a home warranty. They refused to diagnose and simply ordered the part. Guy couldnt put in part, homeowner had to. Also no pvc or pool plumbing supplies on truck. Owner had to go to ace and complete job. HOWEVER!!! They Did attempt to bill my insurance company twice. Total scam and will be reported to BBB.

My pool pump quite on a late Saturday afternoon. We phoned and Kathy said she would check to see if they had one and offered to stay after hours for us to come and get it.

Etcheson has always had the chemicals and advice Ive needed, they test whenever I want and that helps me keep pool ready all summer.

Nobody had ANY EXPERIENCE to answer any of my questions! As a first time pool owner I had lots of of questions and also needed a hose(took the broken hose that I needed replaced) The staff looked no older than 18(no joke) and couldnt answer a single question I had. Lots of shoulder shrugging and I dont knows. Very disappointing.

I needed a vent valve for an older cartridge filter, the team at Etchedon took the time to dig through old catalogs to find the part number and had the part on hand. These guys are truly pros when it come to helping keep your pool in good running condition.

The service and people there are great. I would recommend them and there services to every one that has a pool or a spa.
