My grandson has an IEP for reading and math. We thought it would be a good idea to keep things fresh for him during the summer. Sylvan pretested him to see where he was at in reading and math. He definitely was not where he should have been. After 8 weeks, 4 days a week, 2 hours a day, the improvement in both his math and reading skills greatly improved. I thought there would be a fight each day to go to school in the summer but each day when I picked him up he said he had fun. The teachers are fantastic and addressed any issues he had. He does have ADD and they had no problem addressing this issue if he was having a struggle that day. When I picked him up on his last day, before he even got in the car, he asked if he could come back next summer:) Obviously this was a very positive learning experience for him and I would recommend Sylvan Learning Center to anyone that wants to give their child a boost in their subjects or get them caught up on their current subjects. My daughter started Sylvan for reading help & from the moment I met with the director, I knew she was in great hands. She enjoys her time each week & I feel at ease, seeing how much they care about her. Her reading scores have drastically improved & so has her confidence!! Sylvan has been worth every penny!

Our 8yo daughter attended the Robotics camp this past month. She loved every day of it, and it was clearly evident how much she did. In addition to her sheer excitement at the different things she built each day; I was doubly impressed with her quickly acquired knowledge on coding and mechanics. I strongly recommend this center and camp for its people, process and experience.

My son loves coming here to learn and he works hard for the two hours a day, four days a week he comes. He is always happy when he leaves your center for learning when my wife and I pick him up from there. Thank you for helping him to master what he needs

Sylvan has made all the difference for our son. He struggled with learning and mastering math skills. Since hes been at Sylvan he has made huge progress beyond our expectations he has grown in confidence and is much happier overall. He even says now that math is his favorite subject. We are beyond happy and satisfied with the results we gotten at Sylvan.

I have found the staff.....especially Lynne, super accommodating and helpful as we try to schedule time for a busy high school athlete. The homework support has been very helpful for my child in the math and sciences. My only regret is wishing we would have reached out to Sylvan a few years ago!!! Bright, but scattered kids get lost in the system and fall through the cracks. Sylvan seems to understand this need!!!!

My daughter has really succeed in coming here. Before I brought her here she was going to be held back, now that we have come here for just two short months the teachers said they can see a huge improvement, and she is allowed to move on to the next grade. They have really helped her with reading and math. Amazing doesnt even explain this place

I use to go to sylvan over by rout 9 and it helped me a lot and I’m very glad to see my little brother, Seth westerhouse going. After he started going for about week or two I saw much improvement in many things. Even his attitude all around. You guys do well at your job

My daughter is always smiling when she leaves. Its great to see her so excited about Math! She loves the Brain Boosters and positive reinforcement.

We went to Sylvan in Normal and we were very happy to find our son was not too behind. We signed him up for the Math Edge Class and he loves it. He is loving it. He is learning new math skills. And shhhh he dont know he is Learning. He just loves the instructors. They are wonderful. I recommend anybody whos kids needing a bit of help to go. Say Terri Holliday sent ya;)

We have enrolled 2 of our children at Sylvan. The progress they have both made in just 4 months has exceeded our expectation. They have mastered many skills that needed specific attention, which is exactly what Sylvan has done for them!
