We had a problem with an ice dam on our garage roof. water flowing behind the waterproofing and into our garage. George explained in great detail what the cause was and we discussed several ways to address the issue. We agreed on a plan forward and a baseline estimate. The solution required two different subcontractors to work on our house, one to fix the waterproofing, another to work on our gutters. Both were friendly and experienced in their specific roles. After the work was done George contacted me again regarding a final price. Due to the short time it took to address our issues, the price ended up lower than the estimate.All in all we were very satisfied with Nordines and the subcontractors the used. Found everyone we worked with to be forthcoming and fair.We will be contacting them again for bigger jobs in the future....5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nordines is owned by a very experienced and customer focused man. His experience is so valuable and he gives the clients the best service around. Hes a stickler for details and it shows.

Back in 2018 i had this company come and do a siding repair around my back patio and lay down flashing at the foot of my patio door on the upper deck of my house.George indicated if he couldnt find a similar match that he would take the siding from the chimney and swap it with the siding that needed to be replaced. They came out did the work. I never thought anything else of it. i certainly didnt think to do a walk around the house other than the area that was worked on.Fast forward almost two years to the date and my neighbor on the north side of the house is trying to filter the gutter spout through a fence we share over to the side of my house. I go to see all what hes doing and i notice extreme discoloration when looking at my siding. I literally thought my neighbor had stripped the siding off my house. I was ready to call the police. I checked with George to see if he knew anything about what happened. He acted like he didnt have a clue at first. Further examination of the siding in the back showed it had to have come from the side of the house. I continued to press George about it and he finally admitted that his crew took siding from the north side of the house and 1) didnt tell me 2) failed to provide a adequate match. Whats worse is that if they had been straightforward and honest from the jump they likely would have made more money off the deal as i could have went to my insurance company notified them of the problem and they would have at the very least paid for the repairs on the back side and replaced all the siding, but George and his crew robbed me of that option.Its more of a principle thing at this point and i plan to tell as many people as possible about it before its all said and done. Here i am embarrassing myself and creating conflict with my neighbor because hes too coward to admit his wrong and come forward with the truth. People need to know about this guy and his company even if i turn out to be the only one he has done this to

We have had Nordine Remoding work for us before, they have put in new windows, enclosed our front porch and put siding on our home. It was very easy for me to go back to them them with this project. I enjoy the friendly, professional banter. I spoke with Dorothy first and told her what I wanted to do. Then Dorothy and I met with Mike Kearns. Mike came out to our home, measured asked questions. I told them I wanted the clutter gone, places to put everything, a laundry room and a new bathroom. Mike and Dorothy set to work. plans were made and drawn up, papers signed. I was told the Nordine crew would be there are Nov 20th. to start removing all the old. The guys were very professional, friendly and kept me informed. As expected a few glitches arose, my home was built in 1912. each time Mike or Dorothy and the crew took care of it. The guys did everything possible to keep the dust and yuck from the other parts of my home, before leaving for the day all areas were swept and tools and stuff were out of the way. The carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters, and craftsmen I am thankful for your professionalism and pride in your work. Dorothy and Mike thank you for seeing, understanding and making my dream come true. I love the new kitchen, laundry and bathroom.. Believe me when I decide to remodel again, Nordine will be who I call

Recently we had our roof, gutters and fascia replaced by Nordine Remodeling. We used them years ago for a roofing repair when no one else would help us. They did excellent work both times. I cant believe how much better our house looks and how quickly it was completed. The quality and amount of work done exceeded my expectations. Thank you George!

Good lord their internet representatives are terrible. I asked a simple question if they did a certain type of project and they wouldn’t even answer me. They just asked for personal details. All they had to say was yes or no and they wouldn’t even do that. Very terrible online reps. Hope it was worth saving some money on outsourcing, they just lost a customer.

Nordine Remodeling replaced our roof several years ago and did an amazing job then. Recently, we noticed some leaking inside our garage (the ceiling) and notified them expecting the worse. They had someone out the very next day and cleared some leaves and other debris that had collected around our chimney causing the water to back up and come in. They cleaned it off and didnt even charge us! OUTSTANDING service and yet another reason to call them when we have any other job we need done!

We just had a new roof put on by Nordine Remodeling. Their roofing crew was extremely courteous and respectful of our needs. They were on time and cleaned up every night. My neighbors even commented on their professionalism. Great work for a fair price.

Back in the early summer of 2017 I budgeted $50k for home renovations and I contacted Nordine for an estimate. Their salesman Mike got in touch with me and came out to my residence within a couple weeks for the estimate. After looking at my home and all the work I wanted completed, I didnt hear anything back for about a month. Then salesman Mike informed me their painter had been in the hospital and he and the painter needed to come back out to my house to complete the estimate, which they did. After that, I never heard back from Nordine. A couple more months passed and when I contacted Mike for the 2nd or 3rd time since their second trip to my home, Mike told me they were working on my estimate as we speak and it would be completed that week. Well, guess what? I never did get an estimate from Nordine or ever even heard from Mike again! Now as I write this review, half of the work has already been completed by other reputable businesses and the rest should be completed by the end of the summer. I guess Nordine wasnt interested in the prospect of making $50k off of me :).

I found Nordines to be very responsive both before and during the work process. George took lots of time to explain the process while Casey was available 24/7 to reassure me throughout the entire process. Nordines answered all of my questions and I found them to very user friendly as a one stop shop remodeling company. I would definitely recommend Nordine Remodeling!

Nordine Remodeling replaced our roof. There were many issues from the previous roof replacement done by another company about 15 year ago. George and his team corrected everything. Im very confident that this roof will last a very long time. They also fit our job into their late season rush before cold weather. Great job and would recommend them if you need a roof replacement.

I did not have any work done by Nordine, nor will I ever. Just 1 phone call to Mike, in which he talked down to me and assumed that I wouldnt be able to afford their services and didnt want to partake in the Free estimates that they advertise on their website. Never have I ever been treated so poorly, just for asking for a quote for a kitchen re-model.With 5 other remodeling companies that were more than willing to give me the time of day, I can safely say that Nordines will never have my business. Unfortunately, I have nothing but a negative review to give them.

Called Nordine for work on a leaky sliding door and water getting in under siding. George and the office staff were great to work with. After the initial inspection and estimate we signed our contract and the work began. On the first day of the project major damage was discovered. Doug & John were able to get it fixed and put back together in just a couple days. The inconvenience was minimal and the craftsmanship was excellent. The are not the cheapest in town, but so few places are willing to tackle repairs and I wanted the job done right. I will use Nordine Remodeling again in the future and will gladly recommend them to anyone in the Bloomington/Normal area needing work. The price will be fair, you will be treated with respect, and the job will be done expertly.

I have known George for decades. Hes been my #1 contractor when it comes to remodeling, roofs, etc. Ive stuck by George all these years for a reason, his company does quality work! I recently had his crew put a new roof on the main house and front porch. The crew were professional and cleaned up every night after work. In three days I had a new roof on the house. George put on the old roof that was 20 years old, and it needed replacing. Weve also hired him to replace windows, install new gutters, do some dormer work, put on a new back roof on the addition of the house, put in a new sliding glass door, design and build our garage, and put in a concrete driveway. I couldnt be happier with the new roof and it looks great. There arent too many remodeling companies that have been around as long as Nordines and the home projects Ive hired them to do have been outstanding! If I have any other projects I need to get done, you can bet Ill be calling Nordines as they have taken care of me all these years!

The employees for Nordine are serious but fun- they do what they are there to do but they are light hearted and not pushy. After all the work was done they came back to check the work that had been done.

We had an extensive remodeling done by Nordine which included finishing our basement. In the process, they covered a pre-existing baseboard de-watering system with spray insulation foam that effectively clogged that system. There is also evidence of nail punctures in at least one location on the baseboard. Testing by the Basement De-Watering System confirmed that their system no longer works and the lifetime warranty is now voided. We had to cut away the dry wall all along our basement perimeter wall to conduct this test in May and so we cannot use our basement in this unfinished state. Our communication to date with Nordine has been ignored and we get water in our basement every time it rains.I would like very much to have the damaged system removed and a new system installed; to have all the dry wall, insulation, studs, and flooring that must be displaced to effect this new installation of a new de-watering system be completed and paid for by Nordine and/or its insurance carrier before the start of the fall 2016 school year so we can once again use our basement.As I have said repeatedly, we had a dry basement before Nordine did this remodeling and we have a wet basement now. I want a dry, finished basement back. I should not have to pay twice to get the job done right.

They redid our laundry room and put our hardwoods throughout our whole home. They are very friendly people and they got the job done the way I wanted it done.
