It works but very slow. To live in 1000 sf using one maybe 2 devises in a new area of town, logic would say it would be fast, reliable, and affordable. One out of three gets a three.

My experience with Sparklight has been so positive! The technician, Matt was great at what he does and made sure all of my questions were answered before he left! I needed to speak to a tech on the phone and they were patient with me. Signing with Sparklight was a really good decision!

I recently moved to the Norfolk area and signed up to use Sparklight for home wifi mostly for work needs. I am impressed with all of my calls with the company representatives, very little hold time, not transferred around to multiple people and everyone is very friendly. Services were scheduled for install within days and in home install service was friendly, arrived when they were supposed to and quick. WIFI quality meets expectations. Definitely recommend them. This experience has been far better then that of any communications company I have had to date and far better then previous big city internet service.

Cable and internet are both spotty at best. Cant tell you how many times Ive been watching a show or movie Ive never seen before, and the cable cuts out right when it gets to the good part. Internet service is very unreliable. Nothing like getting randomly booted off of Netflix or some other streaming service because your internet connection suddenly is non-existent for no apparent reason. Way overpriced for the extremely poor quality of service they provide. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could!

Internet not very reliable, purchased speeds of 1000 mb and get 30-50mb at best. Customer service tech support tries to help but doesn’t seem to know how to fix it. Very disappointed in the quality of service as the WiFi goes out randomly as well.

The internet is very slow. Games lag, movies are slow to load and often buffering Hotspot on my pphone used to things better.

I used the service for 12 years but apparently they dont care. The service is too expensive and the customer service makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. With reason, many are leaving them and going to other providers.I don’t recommend this service.

This is one of the more (if not the most) expensive companies you can choose for internet service. Youd expect it to be fast, however my connection has always been iffy especially at certain times of day. It has been this way in multiple cities with different routers so its not just a location or technology issue.

Impossible to reach for help. My 86 year old mother left without phone service and can only get help if you subscribe for tech help?????? Others in her neighborhood also without service. Dangerous for people that rely on their phone for help in an emergency. Need 24 hour contact service for situations like this. I dont want to give them any stars but they require at least one to post.......so my thoughts are really 0.

Realize all going thru changes due to covid..but being closed to not get face to face answers..lots other businesses work around..I drive for a local public transportation and have took people to office just to be closed. And they have pay because they cant get answers on phone

Don’t let the “data cap” scare you! My family of 5 doesn’t go thru near what I pay for and we are CONSTANTLY on it. We love that you can track the data usage to keep track of what I have used and the install/tech was so friendly. Knew exactly what he was looking for and install less than 20 minutes!

Internet service is good... unlimited costs an extra $40 after the cost of your plan. With others offering unlimited at a lesser price... I believe people will choose elsewhere. Cable prices went up with fewer channels. More people will be switching to Netflix and Hulu, Im sure.

Was trying to use cable one chat service at noon today and some got on to tell me chat was unavailable! !! They told me to call an 800 number. Why have chat if they dont use it?! The did you chat to tell me they cant chat!. Teriible service! I just had an easy question but they kept telling me to call a phone number.

I purchased the Internet Lite package as I primarily want it for gmail and a few other perks. I thought it would be substandard service since it was the lite package, but so far excellent service and no problems.

Their data cap you are allotted for the price is extremely underwhelming considering its 2018. You cant even call the local office directly anymore. Their customer service line take at least 10-15 minutes to get on with a person each time you call. Their actual internet service is shoddy at best. I pay for over 200 Mbps and at max get 100 through peak hours, and service goes out often. Just too many reasons to not go here.

Two stars because it is the fastest internet in town. That being said the most expensive, the worst customer service, pretty sure they throttle speeds time to time, and be prepared to pay extra if you go over their plan. (The only internet service provider that has a plan of how many gbs you can use lol).

I used to have CentryLink which was really bad. downloads would be slow and YouTube videos were also slow but the first day i got Cable one i was surprised how fast it was than CentryLink.

Cable One seems to have the Norfolk, NE area on lock down as far as high speed Internet, however I only utilize Cable One service when I am back in Norfolk while on vacation in Norfolk. I would rate the speeds I purchased 200/10 (approx) as average at best. The price I paid for Cable One for the “gaming” package was very underwhelming and over priced. But that’s just my opinion.Keeping in mind I reside in the Washington, DC area and my ISP is far superior in speed. Perhaps that is expected for Nebraska? I run Gigabyte internet with Verizon Fios at over 900/900 up AND down. I have yet to find another internet service provider to match the speeds let alone the price.

This business, if thats what they want to call themselves​, needs to re-evaluate their phone operating system center!! I dont personally do business with them but there is a wire (that belongs to them)down in my backyard from a Strom, that happened in JUNE!!!,( Im still trying to get it fixed/ romoved and its the middle of JULY people!!) I was hung up on three different times, the 1-5 options did NOT include why I was calling ( wire is down in my backyard) and continued to ask for an account number. I feel sorry for any of their actual coustomers

I have internet service with CableOne and it is great. I recently had their modem go down. I called the company and they worked with me on the phone until they realized that the modem was dead. I went to the company right here in town and they replaced the modem and told me in great detail how to hook it up. Took me about a half hour and works great again. Also love the speed - especially when we watch Netflix! No more buffering for me! Thanks CableOne!

Cable One has the second worst customer service i have ever received from any company ever. The first is century link but that is a different story. Cable one has internet speeds of up 100mbps at the modem which is great but in order to get even 5% of that speed wireless they ask you to buy a separate wireless modem as the wireless modem they provide is not equppied for that. So i bought a 150.00 wireless modem and there was no compensation what-so-ever .. i talked with them on the phone and told them i was switching companies and they said sorry to hear that. You would think as much as internet costs they would try to keep their customers around :(.. smh cable one
